For the nearly 7 years I've lived here, I've never been able to catch this place when it's periodically open. Imagine my surprise when driving by, I actually saw cars in the parking lot. Myself and several others must've had the same thought, as we all made a quick uturn and hastily parked. Upon entering, you're greeted by polite personnel, as well as the delicious smell of citrus and... vanilla. That's right, vanilla. That's because they bake fresh cinnamon rolls on site, and we happened to snag the last container. Had a half one for breakfast for about a week and couldn't imagine eating any other cinnamon roll. The oranges were huge, but not really good. The OJ however, was fantastic. We ended up spending about $40 and I'm glad that we were finally able to check this place out. read more

It's citrus season in Florida and I'm a big fan. I visited this store in Maitland to get all the goodies. This place is such a hidden gem. They have the best fresh made orange juice. The store also has key lime pie, citrus, local Florida honey, jams, dressings, citrus flavor chapstick, candy and more. My favorite is the orange blossom honey. read more

I am embarrassed that in the 30 + years I have lived here I have never set foot in there. But, a friend had given me a jug of their orange juice and it was so good. Driving by today I decided to stop and get more . Well it is past orange season so they had citrus juice, primarily tangerines. Liked it even more since it was less acidic. This time of year it is Honeybell season. Some of them were HUGE! Will make sure I stop more frequently before they close in April and when they reopen for the season. I was very upset when the 1/2 bushel of navel oranges I purchased on 12/21 @$12 for the bag. I make ambrosia every Christmas and have bought the navels in the past from Hollieanna Groves with good fruit. However, out of the whole bag of navels, I was only able to use 4 of those oranges. The remainder appeared to be damaged by a freeze but we had not had any cold weather until 12/23 and 12/24. I have lived in FL all my life and am famliar with how fruit can get damaged. This fruit was damaged because as I attempted to peel them, they all (except the 4) had the top half dried out, no juice with a whiteish appearance to the fruit flesh. I had to buy more navels to make my family's anticipated ambrosia. read more

Went to Hollieana today and bought some beautiful navels and a couple of half gallons of fresh squeezed O.J. As usual, their selection of citrus was excellent and they have expanded their choices in jams, jellies, pickles, butters, candies and snacks. Although from the road they don't look like much, you won't regret stopping. Get there before they close for the season. read more

Great little citrus stand here in Maitland, kind of a community staple if you ask me. Local grown citrus, locally sourced honey and home made jams/jellies all at good prices. My husband and I have tried different places for Florida Oranges since Florida is the Orange state. Hollie na Groves is the best place for the local oranges. They are juice and sweet for all the citrus. The best quality! We came twice so far and will stop by again when we have road trip to Orlando. Keep it up! read more

I stopped in to get some citrus fruit for juicing last week. I've never been here, but always like to support local businesses and farmers. I bought a 5 lb bag of oranges for $7. Not the cheapest in town, but not horrible. They have a huge assortment of honey, jams/jellies and nuts as well. No pineapple, but they do have oranges, tangerines and grapefruit. We wanted to find a new place to purchase Florida city's so I found Hollieanna Groves based on previous reviews. After stopping I I think I will stick to the places off I4. The person working the register was more interested in the workers next store than greeting us. I get the COVID is due however the whole experience of purchasing citrus in Florida is to try different varieties and buy items that might not be available in the local grocery store. Can't you cut up an orange and give out 4 pieces? Asking to spend good money on guessing what something tastes like doesn't seem like they are looking for new customers. read more

I have passed by this place several times with intentions on stopping one day and finally took the plunge. Cute little shop with what it seems almost every type of orange. I picked up a $5 bag to experiment with. When I got home and looked at a few I didn't expect them to be that ripe because they didn't have their full orange color. I went ahead a sliced one to eat and omg I inhaled it like it was my last meal! So juicy and good. I'm going to have a hard time buying oranges anywhere else. In their shop they also sample their citrus juice that they make from different oranges. Once you try it you automatically feel obligated to pick up one of their $5 half gallon jugs. They also have a buy 12 get one free loyalty card for them. Great shop, looking forward to the next trip. read more

My husband and I frequent the Maitland area a lot for our shopping. We decided to stop in for the first time and pick up some seasonal oranges, and the staff was anything but welcoming. We weren't even greeted with a "Hello" or a "Good morning," and they seemed to actively ignore us and not seem to care to have any of our business, even though we were the only customers present. I'm not sure if this cold shoulder treatment was due to staff fatigue, or if there were racial motivations behind it, but I guess we'll never know. We didn't get a good vibe and will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Thanks to yelp we find the best farmer market in Orlando for so far. We have local citrus and different kind of oranges that I am not familiar. Orlando Oranges are so juicy and sweet. They are better than tangerine. Classic naval and red naval are juicy and sweet as well. Prices are reasonable. Nice and friendly staffs or owners. We will come back when we travel to Orlando. Excellent local produce here. Oranges, Grape Fruits, Tangelos...the works. A little shop off of 17/92 in Maitland, you could pass this place without even knowing it. Living nearby I eventually stopped in one day to see what they had in store (pun intended, wocka wocka). Looking at their stock it was obvious they were slinging fruit that basically went from tree straight to the showroom table. No middle man, fresh as could be. They have a juice machine by the register peculating with the freshest OJ ready for free samples as well. "Don't mind if I do" I said...twas absofruitly delicious. There was another item for sale worth mentioning that had little to do with citrus though. My wife (a Canuck) was browsing around with me. She reached the store's little refrigerated section and became a tad delirious. Turns out Hollieana also carries authentic cheese curds imported from Ohio. Now if you, or someone you know is Canadian, you've most certainly heard of Poutine'. That dish the Great White North has come to adore. They take fries, smother it in gravy and cheese curds and call it lunch. Sounds easy to make but apparently, according to the wife, finding authentic cheese curds down south is hard to do. So when she found these little nuggets, she straight lost it. Hollieanna Groves: you got your amazing fresh fruit, your free samples of fresh squeezed OJ and cheese that'll please your Canadian, eh. I've been buying Orange Juice and oranges from A - Z at Hollieanna for 10 years, a short time compared to some other long-time customers. The product has been A+. The service has been helpful, friendly and willing to repackage when needed. I've bought the fruit and the fresh squeezed OJ as gifts for corporate clients, neighbors, family, friends and for our family. This year the tangerines have shrunk tremendously and the prices have increase. I am not sure if the bag size is smaller. Perhaps the bag seems smaller as the fruit is so much smaller. I wanted to buy good size naval oranges. Only the largest bag size carry "the" best navals. I asked to buy 1/2 bag of the largest bags, as I wanted larger navals. Plus, we will not eat the largest bag of naval in a short time. Before, the family would have done this with out any problems. Now, the other staff refused. Said if I wanted the larger ones, I could buy the singles from inside the store, that were not bagged, which means I would pay double buying them individually versus buying 1/2 bag of the largest. It's sad to see the dramatic changes. I was there 4 or 5 times since Nov. and didn't see any of the family members that use to work there and help. Perhaps I just came at the times they weren't working. Having family members there was a big factor in my shopping there. It was the authenticity of their family business. All of their prices have increased. They have bought smaller sized fruit. Most of the non-fruit products are not made in Orlando or Florida. I will still recommend Hollieanna, just not as much enthusiasm as before. read more

This place is awesome! Solid, local citrus. The only bad thing about Hollieanna is that it's a seasonal deal. During the winter, this place is filled with all kinds of oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, juices, etc. Otherwise, it's empty and you are forced to buy the genetically enhanced Sunkist, year-round oranges from Publix, which are actually pretty good, but no Hollieanna. It's a small building with limited parking, but it's worth checking out. They have this sample station where you can try the juice....so good! read more

This is a great citrus store, best place in Florida to get fresh and delicious fruit! Growing up in Maitland this place has always had a small part of life.
