I confronted the older gentlemen (owner?) and he gave me the most ridiculous story and tried to cover up their lie. I told them that I knew they were lying and to just give me my part back which they claimed they threw away. I left that day and told them I would report them to the authorities for stealing a $500 part and magically they made up a completely different story and they found the part that they were supposed to replace. I went and picked up my part the next day. Total scammers. Be aware and check their work. I will continue to report them on all fronts.

Potomac Marine would not admit fault in their winterization job but after several discussions they offered $1000 off if I pay them $5600 for a 5.7l engine block swap. I told them I got a quote from another shop for an identical motor for $3200 including installation but they refused to give me any money back. I lost the summer boating season with their lies and delays and several thousand dollars. They do not know to work on Mercruisers and they do not stand behind their work. BEWARE!
