Hollywood and Vine is your typical Disney character buffet, offering something for everyone. The service is good and the vibes are cool! Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy are there to interact with. The food is delicious and offered in a wide variety.

This was just ok. The food was not great, and certainly not worth the cost of the buffet. I hear from another review that they had Disney Jr characters once upon a time, which is too bad because my daughter loves Sofia the First and Puppy Dog Pals. But now they have Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and maybe Goofy that visit. The dessert was good, but that was all. I can't imagine I would choose to visit H&V again, rather than another restaurant or quick service. This is a skip for me, and there are other places to meet these characters.

    Loved the options here!

Great buffet! We were so hungry when we arrived but the characters came right to the table so we paused for some pictures. I thought it was rushed at first but they were around pretty much back and forth for the whole time we were there. Well, let's get back to the buffet, man, there were so many delicious plant based options. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a kids section too. When it was time for dessert, my kids were so excited for the soft serve but unfortunately, they are both dairy based. I asked our server and he said they had both chocolate and vanilla tofutti available so he brought some out and we headed to the soft serve station for some toppings. Overall, great experience and happy bellies!

Ate here for lunch to get the special Fantasmic seating tickets for the 8 pm show. Check in was quick and we were seated unexpectedly earlier than anticipated. Loved the Christmas backdrop at the entrance and all the holiday music. All of the characters had festive outfits or decor on. The buffet had a nice variety of offerings that were suitable for all ages. Our favorites were the shrimp and bacon mac and cheese, shepherd's pie, and the flank steak. In our opinion it had comfort food with a fun atmosphere and getting to take pics with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Santa Goofy. More family-friendly option for Fantasmic tickets than Hollywood Derby.

I chose Hollywood & Vine to celebrate my birthday and to enjoy some character dining on birthday weekend, and it turned out to be a great choice. The characters were dressed in their Halloween costumes, and each one came by our table not once but twice. They were so sweet and engaging, adding joy to the experience. The buffet had a lot of variety. The standout for me personally was the mushroom risotto -- rich, full of flavor. I also really enjoyed the cheesy cauliflower, sautéed garlic green beans, and peel-and-eat shrimp. The large shrimp where perfectly cleaned but shells left. I had tap water to keep hydrated and avoid excess sugary drinks (not my favorite taste, so I'd recommend another drink if you're sensitive to that) but ended the meal with a hot cup of chamomile tea. Our server, Crystal, brought two tea bags, honey, and fresh lemon without having to ask; all was appreciated and more than adequate. It was a thoughtful touch, though I noticed they didn't provide a stirrer. Dessert isn't usually my thing, but I tried the strawberry tres leche cake since a fresh batch had just come out. I was the first to scoop a small sliver, and the strawberry sprinkled topping gave it a fun flavor and texture. The soft serve, on the other hand, was icy rather than creamy, so I couldn't enjoy and discarded. Service overall was very good. Crystal was kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The only real disappointment was that when we were seated, the hostess asked if we were celebrating anything. She noted my birthday on the ticket, but it was never mentioned again -- not even a small "happy birthday." A little acknowledgment would have been nice especially considering this was the reason for the splurge, but it didn't ruin the experience - just would have been the icing on the cake to top off the birthday dinner experience. Total cost for two people, including a 20% tip, was $145.97. Eeek -- definitely on the pricey side -- but since it was a birthday meal and a special experience, I was okay with it. All in all, I was very satisfied. The character interactions were wonderful, the food had some standout dishes, and the service and overall vibe was pleasant. Not a foodie destination, but perfect for a fun, memorable Disney experience.

I stopped eating long enough to meet Minnie

We picked this place since it had the most options for a Gluten free diet. We bought the Fantasmic Dinning package with the meal. I'm not a big fan of buffets, but I must say they really went over the top in service and helpfulness in choosing safe options. Not only was there multiple options, they tasted delicious. Since we were visiting at lunch the main meet was sliced steak or ham. Both very well prepared. The crispy Brussel sprouts was the star. The only bad dish was the salad, as it tasted like it just came out of a bag with a chemical taste. It also was fun to 'meet' Minnie, Mickey and Pluto who wandered around multiple times.

Buffet character meal at Hollywood studios. It was a great experience! All the unique options on the buffet were all so good: s'mores pancakes, chicken meatballs, churro bites, chicken and munchkin bite. And so simple but they cut the melons into super small pieces unlike almost anywhere else and honestly it tasted so much better because of that

Want a character breakfast that is not all princesses and has the option to not be over-stimulating? This is your place. We came here on a rainy day specifically knowing we needed to eat and had time to spend due to the morning rain. I guess not many people wanted to brave the rain with us because the restaurant was very empty for the hour we were there. I could see it being a bit much if it was full, but it was very nice and easy to have conversation while enjoying our meal. The view from the restaurant is of Echo Lake, which is a nice view for a relaxing morning. The bathroom for this property is shared with Prime Time Cafe, so make sure to return to the proper restaurant upon exiting. The characters we saw were Doc McStuffins, Vamparina, Fancy Nancy, and Goofy. There was a character for everyone to like at our table! Because the restaurant was not crowded, I feel we got extra character time. The characters were so nice and personable. My littles loved them all, but Goofy is a family favorite. This is a buffet and fixed price, but they switch out the buffet items often so they're never mushy or "old". The variety of options was endless it seemed, but their eggs Benedict, donut hole and fried chicken on a skewer (I don't even want to think about how many the five of us consumed), and Mickey waffles were a table favorite. They even have a dessert bar at breakfast, so naturally we got ice cream at 9:30 in the morning. Now the icing on the cake for this experience was the service. Our server, Gus, was fantastic. He made sure we had what we needed, was quick to whisk off the empty plates, and just was the pinnacle of hospitality. When they found out we had a birthday boy at the table, they brought out a birthday cupcake at breakfast. We were at Disney for birthdays last year, but a birthday cupcake at breakfast was extra special. I highly recommend Hollywood & Vine for a character breakfast with a good view and good vibes.

I'm always trying different places at Disney and this one was no exception as it was food and characters how do you go wrong? Coming here I didn't really know what to expect because it was my friends choice but what I found was a lot of different options from lots of side dishes to some marinated chicken to some honey ham to some shrimp Mac and cheese all of which was just ok as nothing here really stood out as being amazing while it all was good I just feel like it was pretty standard and that it's all about the characters interaction here and not the food. The desert bar was cool too the apple crisp with the ice cream was yummy and it was definitely one of the better things here for the given night! Overall it was a cute time with friends Disney characters and some food what was good so you really can't go wrong but it's with this that I really feel like I wouldn't be back here again as there are other places that are just that much better!

If you're seeking a well-rounded character dining experience with better-than-average buffet food, enjoyable ambiance, and engaging service. Hollywood & Vine is a top pick at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Suitable for families or groups wanting to meet well-loved characters in fun seasonal outfits without sacrificing flavor or atmosphere. And it's budget-friendly while delivering memorable value.

It was a very fun experience and the food was delicious! They had probably the most varied choices in a buffet I've been to in Disney property. The cast members were exceptional per usual and the characters were a hoot. It got a bit chaotic at times with character rotations and it's still a bit on the pricier side but these are minor complaints that would not steer me away from coming back! Not one of the best themed locations but very charming.

I've come here for my birthday. I already have plans for a visit when my family gets here in two weeks. Obviously, the food is phenomenal. I usually get Art's Famous Fried Chicken, which they say is Buttermilk-brined for 24 hours then and then flash fried. I have a severe shellfish allergy, and they're always very cautious. No matter who the server or floor manager is. Typically, it's served with creamy mashed potatoes, but I usually swap it out with Momma's Mac and Cheese. I've also had the Smothered Chicken, Bee Haven Fried Green Tomatoes, and the Skilled-fried Chicken Paillard, which is what most of the staff recommends as their favorite dish. And you always have to get a cheddar drop biscuit. That's a non-negotiable. This restaurant is very popular and often gets quite busy, so I recommend to make a reservation as soon as you're ready. But the busyness of the restaurant won't matter once you take a bite. The food is the ambiance and changes everything. Just trust me.

They treat you like you're an old time friend even if it's your first time there. The appetizers (deviled egg and hush puppies) were great. The fried chicken, which they're known for, was very disappointing. It was one of the driest fried chicken I've had in a while. The biscuit side was also very mid. Overall, I do recommend trying this place out, but skip their fried chicken (unless you just love chicken).

I got the blackened salmon which came with green beans and roasted tomatoes. The salmon itself was nice, the blackened seasoning was good, had a good kick to it as well. The salmon itself was a little overcooked for my taste but it was a nice piece of fish overall. The green beans on the other hand were both overcooked and undercooked at the same time. Some of the beans were a pale olive and were super over done, some were bright green and basically raw. I don't know what's going on in the kitchen but this was definitely not a job well done. Also they gave me like three cherry tomatoes they probably could have done a little bit better with the quantity in that department. For the price they're charging the food should be a lot more consistent. I give it two and a half stars rounded up to three because I did like the guy that was playing the guitar and singing and the atmosphere was fairly decent. As far as food goes, big overpriced dud, steer clear.

The brisket was the standout for me, followed closely by the pulled pork. The chicken and sausage held their own too. Honestly nothing on the board disappointed. The beer selection also surprised me in the best way -- not your typical theme park watered-down options. One heads up for first-timers: order before you find a table. We made the mistake of doing it the other way around and were pretty firmly told we couldn't sit until we had ordered.
