The food was absolutely amazing. The cast member that took care of us was so attentive to my dietary needs as soon as I said celiac disease. I also loved that all the characters walk around and greet you. It was such a fun experience and I love that it rotated around and we see living with the land. It was a good atmosphere. We had a great experience at Garden Grill! One of the best parts is that the restaurant slowly rotates, giving you changing views of the Land pavilion throughout your meal. It's such a unique and relaxing dining experience. The food was very good, and we especially enjoyed the fresh vegetables, including the zucchini and broccoli. It's nice knowing many of the ingredients are grown right in The Land. The service was wonderful as well--they even brought a side of strawberries for my son when he unfortunately didn't enjoy any of the menu items offered for him. Wonderful experience here! We had Tim as our server and he was awesome! He brought us salad, a veggie pot with ranch and the most delicious cornbread. For dinner, we had turkey, steak, Mac n cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, some roasted veggies and strawberry shortcake for dessert! Worth the $$$ for family character dinners! Honestly best one in Epcot. Delicious food, easily can fill up to 6 adults & 2 kids. It is family style where they bring out large portions to share. I have never had a bad experience here. It's laidback and the characters are fun. The food is fine, too. For breakfast, they serve bacon, eggs, cinnamon rolls, watermelon (from Living with the Land), meat with chimichurri sauce and hash browns. What more can you want. And it all tastes good. The vegan option is good, too. Lunch is good, too. You get steak and turkey. Yum. If you are looking for a fine dining experience, this is not the place. I liked the experience of eating on a rotating 360 degree dinner platform and enjoyed seeing some of the ride props. My kid's seemed to like it to. It's an AYCE buffet. For those that find that appealing you would maybe enjoy it. I personally don't like buffets as much but that's just me. I am a quality over quantity type... But there's plenty of food options to choose from. You get your standard mac and cheese with cute mickey crackers on top, mashed potatoes, green beans, steak and veggies plus the salad with some raw veggies. The raw veggies looked dehydrated... and I did not want to eat them. Now those cooked green beans on the other hand, were my favorite green beans of my entire stay at Disneyworld. They were thin, with the right amount of crunch and flavor. Also the whole table loved the cornbread and butter. The characters were fun and my kids loved to say hi to them. Would I come back myself? Probably not, but if you haven't done it and you have kids, then yes I would say it's worth it to try it once. This is one of those underrated character dining experiences. There's a following for this place apparently... I will say we saw a LOT of the characters over and over again lol. They were one of the best parts. This was by far one of the best dining experiences I've had at Epcot in Disney World. My husband had booked a reservation for lunch time at the Garden Grill Restaurant for our family. The restaurant is located in the Living Land, right next to the Theater area on the second floor. Check-in was a breeze. We tapped the reservation icon in the Disney World mobile application and we also let the team know at Garden Grill that we were ready! We waited about 10 minutes, and then we were called for our reservation! This restaurant has such a unique dining experience. The Garden Grill slowly revolves around the restaurant. While you're rotating views, you'll get to see different areas of the restaurant. One of my favorite sections is when you get to see the scenes from the Living of the Land ride! You'll get to see sections of the ride such as the rainforests! Another highlight of this dining experience is the meet and greet character experience! We got to see Chip n Dale and Mickey several times while we ate! Compared to some of the other dining experiences, like Beauty and the Beast, this is a great one for character experiences! We had several photo opportunities with the characters! The food was amazing! It was an all you can eat family style dining! The lunch offered grilled beef, turkey, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, vegetables, and so much more! Many of the ingredients are provided directly from The Living of the Land's greenhouses! Our favorite part of the meal was the beef and turkey! The meats were quite flavorful! We had the chimichurri sauce on the side for the beef. The vegetables were scrumptious! We had a fantastic experience at the Garden Grill. We went for a late breakfast, at 10:10am -- our table was ready about 5 minutes after our reservation time. The food was amazing and plentiful. There was something everyone in our party enjoyed, even my 5 year old. We had Mickey waffles, bacon, steak with salsa, the most delicious hashbrowns, monkey bread (more like cinnamon rolls), watermelon and eggs. Between the 3 of us, we each had favorites and were pleased with the whole meal. It was a bit pricey so maybe not an every visit experience, but it was delicious. This is a character restaurant inside Disney Epcot. The restaurant rotates ever so slowly which added a nice touch. It's not so fast that you'll get dizzy. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Food was served family style. There were green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, beef with chimichurri sauce, cornbread, etc. They tasted okay. The drinks were pretty good. On the day we went, we saw Chip and Dale, Mickey, and Pluto. The characters were all great. My kid was too little, so he cried the first time, but Mickey was so sweet to him and even came back afterward. At this point, my son got used to the characters, so he was actually smiling. A great food and Character Experience in EPCOT. The Garden Grill is located inside The Land pavilion at EPCOT. It opened in 1984 and has been rotating above the Living with the Land boat ride ever since. The restaurant serves family-style meals featuring cast-iron skillets of creamy mashed potatoes, rich turkey gravy, herb-roasted turkey breast, tender grilled steak, mac & cheese, and an endless parade of fresh garden vegetables and salad. It seems all you can eat and cost about $60/person. During our lunch Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale visited every table multiple times. The characters were absolutely wonderful, staying playful, patient, and generous with hugs and photos throughout the entire meal. We were lucky enough to snag an outer-ring booth, which gave us a great, ever-changing view through the glass wall as the rainforest, desert, and farmhouse scenes drifted slowly past below. The food was genuinely excellent--fresh, flavorful, and far above typical theme-park quality--though our friendly server was occasionally a little slow with skillet refills and drinks when the restaurant was busy. Those minor issues aside, Garden Grill is from my perspective one of Walt Disney World's best character-dining experiences. I would recommend this for any visiting group that wants a great dining experience like ours. read more

The decor seemed quite dated but the kids thought it was cool that the place rotated. I thought we'd see more of the food portion of the ride as well as tell what on our table was sourced from there as advertised. Best I can tell - nothing. Dale stopped and visited. Chip went running past with his head down. Later Goofy stuck his head around the corner, waved and kept walked. Same with Mickey. We let the server know we had only seen Dale. She left, came back and said they would be by in about ten minutes. Mickey came by but the other two never did. We had a lightening lane so decided to leave. As we were leaving, my eldest nephew saw Chip. He was super upset so his dad said to go back and ask but they wouldn't let him back in. Finally my brother took him back in. After an act of congress, he got Chip's autograph but the other two didn't. We were on a table service dining plan which is supposed to include a specialty drink for the kids like a milkshake or fruit smoothie. The server said no - only sodas or apple juice. So water it was since they aren't allowed that many soft drinks and added sugar. The food was okay. Not much fresh sourced, farm to table that I could tell. I wouldn't chose this place again. We will just meet chip and dale at Fort Wilderness. read more

I have to admit that this was not one of my favorite spots at Disney World in the past, but I have definitely changed my mind after coming here for breakfast!! Before a long Disney day, it is really nice to sit and have a hearty breakfast. The breakfast here is served family style in a big skillet. It is "all you care to eat," so your server will keep the food coming for as long as you want! To start, you get a cinnamon pull apart bread (YUM!!) and fruit. The breakfast includes eggs, mickey waffles, bacon, steak with a chimichurri sauce, and cheesy potato casserole. Everything was good, but I would go back just for the potatoes! They were amazing! You also get to meet a variety of characters. The day we went, we met Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale. It is so fun for kids and kids at heart! My sister is best friends with Chip, so I especially loved meeting him! This character breakfast is one of the easier ones to get a reservation at. This restaurant has a prefixed menu served table side like a buffet, and the restaurant very slowly rotates where you can see parts of the Living with the Land ride. Our dinner options were turkey, steak, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, salad and green beans. Coming here right after Thanksgiving, it reminded me of a Thanksgiving dinner. Overall, the food was fine. It wasn't great, it certainly wasn't something I'd complain about, it was a solid middle of the road food. All of the characters made it to our table, the service was good, but this was likely a one and done for me. If you're comfortable with the price tag, as a way to have interaction with the characters, you won't be disappointed. If you're more into the food aspect, you may be disappointed given the cost. Our server was *amazing* here. Everything was very prompt and he was attentive to our needs. It was really fun to see the characters as we relaxed and got off our feet after a busy day at EPCOT. We saw Mickey, Pluto and my kids favorites- Chip n' Dale. We paid the extra (this is a very pricey meal) to see the characters without having to wait in the lines. We especially enjoyed the salad and steak chimichurri. The whole restaurant slowly (verrrryyyy slowly, like one revolution per dining experience) rotates as you eat and you get a scenic view of forest scenes and a ride that is in the building. 4 stars because it's grossly overpriced for what it is, but you kind of get that with Disney Characters. I really enjoyed learning about the garden that EPCOT keeps to try to support the restaurant from the server. I like that Disney is trying to grow local! read more

This time, we experienced the Garden Grill restaurant, which features slowly rotating seating and echoing the "Living with the Land" theme. The menu is All-You-Care-to-Enjoy (buffet) with Character Dining For appetizers, there's bread and salad made from the "Living with the Land" greenhouse. The main course served family-style dish included protein-rich roast beef, fried chicken, complemented by delicious sauces. Side dishes in the platter included corn, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. Desserts toward the end: cakes, and cookies. You can have unlimited refills. The food was quite similar to what we had last year at Liberty Tree Tavern in MK and at Hoop Dee Doo show at Fort Wilderness Resort. Cast member Chad was friendly and kept asking what else you'd like to eat. The characters who made appearances were Minnie, Mickey, Pluto, Chip 'n' Dale, and they continuously circulated for everyone to take photos and created the joyful atmosphere. Service: we are Disney pass holders and at the parks weekly. This restaurant by far has the best and most efficient service! I would rate it 11/10 with Wei the server and Barb at the front desk, my goodness this is the most efficient character dining! I mean we love the service at the other character dining but this one is the most efficient and they check on you all the time. Food: if you love healthy farm to table food, this is great. For those who like fried unhealthy tasty food, this is not the place for you. Brought my sister here for her birthday lunch and I'm so glad I did. We were seated promptly when our reservation time came to be and our server happily walked us over to our table. Our server was super friendly and attentive throughout our entire dining experience. She quickly had us order our drinks and she brought out warm bread and a salad. At this point Pluto made his way on over to greet us. He gave us a hug each and we posed for pictures. About 15 - 20 minutes after getting seated we got our food. The platter consisted of chicken, corn bread, beef, corn, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and green beans. The food was delicious!! The steak was nicely cooked and had so much flavor, the chimichurri sauce on top was so good. The chicken had a really good BBQ sauce on top and was really juicy. All the sides were really great. At this point Mickey made his way over to our table and gave us each a hug and took pictures. He was soo cute in his little farmers outfit. Chip and Dale also made their way over to us a few times, so cute. Dessert was brought out a soon as we were done with our food. The dessert was HUGE and really good. It was way too big though and we only got a few bites in. This restaurant is all you can eat so you are able to get food as many times as you want and your server will bring it to you!!
