I went here today and Sushila was the person who did my eyebrows. They look great, it was quick service, and no wait time.

I came here on 7/19 for threading. It was pretty quiet, with only one customer ahead of me, but I still waited about 20 minutes before it was my turn. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't very pleasant. As the technician was threading my eyebrows, I noticed a strong curry smell on her hands. It was distracting enough that I found myself holding my breath throughout the appointment. The threading itself turned out fine, but the unpleasant experience made it difficult to enjoy the visit. :( read more

Honestly I've given Hollywood eyebrow so many chances and I think today was my straw. Every single time I tell them "clean up only, do NOT take too much off" and somehow they manage to do the exact opposite for my brows. I'm now left with way too much space between my brows. For my upper lip, they can never take off all the hair and always have to go multiple times over, which tends to hurt. Also, they raised their prices to $32 for upper lip eyebrow combo and I think that's outrageous. read more

I was influenced to come here after seeing the consistency of my friend's eyebrows shape who is a regular here. The process is to sign in on the display at the front desk where you can also specify your preferred aesthetician. My eyebrow threading went really smoothly because she really took her time. I literally felt her plucking each hair one by one with the thread. I'm hoping this wasn't just because of the low traffic at the salon. I would definitely say her meticulous efforts showed in the results. The only reason this is a 4-star review is due to the outrageous $18 charged for the eyebrow threading service. But I will still come back because I'm desperate for consistent and quality eyebrows. read more

This used to be a health food when I was in high school. Now it's a salon with fast check-in and the time goes by fast. I came here to get the hair from my cheeks plucked. I have been going to this salon for a few years now. I don't always get serviced by the same lady but they always, ALWAYS do a great job. I get lots of compliments on my eyebrows. They know exactly what I want without asking much! The ladies are so nice and kind. This location closed down a few weeks this summer due to remodeling and I went to a different salon on the second label at this same mall and the lady kinda ruined my eyebrows. She left them uneven and one was visible thicker than the other one so I had to grow them back up enough for the ladies at Hollywood salon to fix them! I was so relieved when the reopened. Eyebrow threading is $17 +tip (optional) and it's totally worth it. read more

Omg!! Never again! I've never had threading done on my eyebrows, but I've read that it's less painful than waxing. Maybe,but not my experience at this shop! It's was painful from the very start to the end & the pain continued practically into the next day. I'm not sure if there was supposed to be powder or anything on my eyelids, but in this shop, there was none. I do not recommend this place unless you have a very high threshold for pain. read more

I've gotten my eyebrows threaded at many different businesses and this one consistently does the best job at it. Sushila gives particular attention to detail and spends time making sure my brows are a symmetrical despite their natural uneven shape. Other Hollywood eyebrow employees have also done a great job on my brows. I don't live around here anymore, but I leave my eyebrows untouched until my next trip into the city. $42 for full face threading. I came in on a Sunday night thinking that there will be less waiting time but I was wrong! I came in 1/2 hour before closing and waited only about 10 minutes for my turn. While I was doing the service, a few more other customers came in but it was very close to their closing time. Malah was very patient and still allowed the customers to wait if they wish as she will close later for them. I tried this place today and I wouldn't let the 3.5 stars scare you. This place doesn't have any frills but you're in and out in 10 minutes. The lady who did my brows was fast and friendly. She trimmed them at the end and provided aloe. Have realistic expectations about your natural eyebrow shape and understand it's a small business located in the back corner of a mall - you get what you pay for and it's only $15! So I have been here many many times. After the COVID19 shut down, there seems to be only one employee there the last two times I have gone. Her name is "Sus". Usually the job she does is not my favorite and I prefer the other ladies that used to be there. Today, I went and as soon as I walked in Sus give me a look as if I interrupted her from watching her show on her laptop. She told me to sit down and I asked her to thread my eyebrows a little differently than she did last time. She did not say anything and started threading. When she finished they looked TERRIBLE. I asked her to thread a little more and she seemed to understand but it felt like she did not want to keep working. Then, again, I asked her to thread a couple more hairs and asked if she recommended that I remove the hairs I was pointing at. She gave me a blank stare and said, "I am not going to say anything you need to tell me what to do. I just did a clean up." I said okay can you remove this please. She did not say anything and finished. As soon as she was done she asked me why I was still sitting there, and then realized I was also doing lip. As she walked over I felt so uncomfortable like she did not want to do the service. As she was threading my lip I got an important call and answered and tried as hard as I could not not open my mouth and said "hello". Sus walked away immediately and I told the person on the phone to call me back later. Sus came back and said "you know you're not supposed to be on the phone right?" I said yeah I understand. I agree that its best not to answer the phone but Sus' overall attitude and the service I got from her today was so terrible that I was one unhappy customer. When she finished up she was walking away and I said "Can I have aloe please". Usually the employees at Hollywood Eyebrow offer to put aloe right after to help with redness. She came over like she was being forced to and I asked, "don't you guys normally offer aloe to your customers?" She said, "some ask for it and some don't." At this point I really did not want to give her a tip, but when I paid I gave her one anyways because I felt like it was the right thing to do. On top of all this she was using the same pen for all the customers and there were no "clean" or "used" pen bin. I think this is important to have especially during COVID19. I had the WORST experience today with Hollywood Eyebrow and I will NOT be coming back here AGAIN. Customer service was terrible as well as the job itself. They just lost a regular customer. I think Sus needs to be trained in customer service or to look for another job not involving it. I sent a complaint to Stonestown Galleria on my experience today and hope something gets resolved. read more

I'm not someone to care too much about my eyebrows staying on fleek. I literally get them done at a store at most twice a year or pluck them when I'm bored at home. My last service was at Benefit with Amanda last Memorial Weekend LOL. $22 including tip was expensive for me given that I don't even touch up aftewards. Hollywood Eyebrow charges $10 for eyebrow threading. I came on a Thursday morning hoping there wouldn't be wait. I entered the store as an employee was busy working on the computer. She seated me and got started right away. She finished my right brow and asked for opinions. I told her I have a natural arch and people tend to work with the arch giving me a super dramatic look that I don't want. She responded with a smile and said that Chinese women usually come in looking for a natural look so she knows how to help me. Overall my eyebrows are naturally slightly uneven so I don't blame them for the outcome. It's definitely better another threading salon I been to that only charged me $5 lol. My two complaints 1. I don't think she washed her hands or even sanitized before she started threading my eyebrows. 2. Another customer came in before she started my left side and I felt like she rushed a little. However I had a lot of hair to remove so she probably went through them without hesitation. read more

My eyebrows came out okay. Could have used more time on them. The lady didn't ask how I wanted it but they're ok.

Absolutely horrified. Took two photos for reference because it's just not enough with one. This lady today just did not care about anything I said in the beginning. Ask her for the same thickness I already had and simply clean up top and bottom. My eyebrows are so uneven right now that I'm furious in writing this review. Needless to say that I even asked her for the mirror mid way through my sitting and she replied "wait." I'd like my money back. read more
