Such a fun experience! We did the sunset sail. The check in was very quick & easy. We just had to sign in and they gave us some onboarding information. The 2 guys hosting (driver and bartender) were very friendly and entertaining. The boat included unlimited drinks (beer, wine, a mixed drink similar to a mai tai). We met quite a few people and the weather was perfect. The sunset view was beautiful. The bartender went around taking pictures for everyone and even brought drinks directly to you. I really liked the turtle canyon snorkel with Austin, Kevin, Mitchell, Jordan and Ryan. They helped me swim around and gave me good gear that fit me. They also showed me how to snorkel and showed me fish and turtles . We also went sailing it was my favorite part and saw a pod of dolphins. We also had lot of fun with my family and friends I recommend going here for fun in Hawaii !!!! read more

Partying on a boat during sunset is what the bridal party ordered. The excursion package offered Hawaiian cocktails, beer, and water. The water wasn't as calm as anticipated but it wasn't too bad. A few of us got motion sickness so it would be a good idea to prepare for that if you're sensitive. The most stable area on the boat is near the bar. There are plenty of opportunities for great pictures. There are also opportunities to take photos with props on the boat. There is a bathroom onboard but it would be best to not need it because you might be barefoot and other passengers might not be as tidy as you. read more

This was honestly the funnest experience we had in Oahu. We signed up for the sunset cocktail cruise on a Monday evening, and it was incredible. The staff was incredibly friendly and lively, and created a fun environment for everyone on board to start mingling (the hooch also played a role in that). The hooch itself was awesome, I've been trying to make my own mix back home. We had such a good time that we signed up for the turtle snorkel cruise that Thursday, and were incredibly lucky to catch a spot after someone else cancelled. That experience was just as good, and we had a very memorable time. I don't think our trip to Oahu would have been the same without Holokai, and I wish them incredible success. Could have been better if they were serving real alcoholic drinks and not Kool aid. You could hardly hear the music. I guess it was probably a good thing we couldn't hear the music because the play list was terrible. Most of the other passengers were no fun. The last Hawaii booze Cruz was a blast. The drinks were alcoholic and the music was loud enough and the play list was amazing. Furthermore, the tickets were $30 cheaper than this booze Cruz. The Holokai Catamaran made me not want to spend $450 for 5 people for a booze cruz ever again. Truth be told for another $500 we could have rented a private boat for a couple hours with food, alcoholic drinks and our own play list read more

We were running late but they made sure we wouldn't miss the boat. The Captain and bartender are great also. Very lively and the bartender was generous with the drinks. My husband and I loved the sunset cruise! The captain and bartender were very nice and friendly. The hooch cocktail was peachy, guava-y deliciousness! We had a great time watching the Waikiki skyline, Diamond Head crater, and of course, the beautiful Hawaiian sunset. The boat was small and felt very private, but still had room for a small bathroom, which is always good to have just in case. The ride itself was a bit bumpy but that's expected from the ocean waves but still felt very safe. The check in process was easy and they followed all the Covid protocols so we felt safe in that sense as well. We would definitely recommend it! read more

Had a fantastic experience on the tradewind sail. The check in was easy with an informative staff. The boat crew made sure everyone onboard were prepared for the ride. The captain made you feel at ease even with a few large swells and waves. The deck hands were more than willing to lend a hand when needed. There were also "dry" areas on the boat for items you don't want to get wet. All added to the fun making it well worth the cost. BTW the drinks available onboard were less $$ than you find in most all Waikiki hotel bars read more

They canceled our tour less than 24 hours from the departure and offered $5 off as a consolation. This is after moving around doctors appointments and planning the entire week around the tour. They said the boat was big and we were the only ones who booked so they wouldn't be going out. I can understand a weather related event keeping you from sailing but you can't trust you'll even make it out if they don't sell enough people for that day. I don't recommend booking with this company. There are plenty of other options. read more

Fabulous in every way. It is easy to be critical of things being too touristy if you are from Hawaii but this experience was 100%. Captain and mate were genuinely nice people and my out of town guests were captivated by the views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from the ocean. We watched a Transpac boat cross the finish line and delighted in all of the canoe paddlers practicing sprints. Recommend this outfit above all others. read more
