This bar is pretty and you'll feel cool. The bar is agave/mezcal focused. I'm not a tequila or mezcal person so I tried their cocktails. I had their 5 min gin fizz. They put all the elixirs together and put it in a device that shakes it for 5 mins and then they top it with egg white foam, the drink is delicious. I also had their version of a greyhound with tequila? They have margarita on tap, alcohol free cocktails and ranch water. If you want to try something new or bored of your regular IPA, this is the place to go. If I lived closer, I might be a regular. The service is efficient, order at the bar. read more

Great neighborhood bar to go for some great cocktails and hang out. Some of the standout cocktails for me are their Gin Fizz (highly recommended), Plantain in the Membrane, and Staff Punch. The bartenders here are pretty quick and great at making the drinks. If you are hungry, you can order food from the pizza or Asian place next to them (which we also did). Best NOT2SWEET cocktail I have ever had: complicated, great quality alcohol (meaning no headache the next day), and sweet on the side of tart which filled my mouth with joy and tickled my tongue and brain. I am definitely going back for seconds. And I can affirm that The Gin Fizz, the famous one that takes 15 minutes to make and is getting quite a reputation on this app already, looks completely amazing! It's that I cannot drink gin or I would try it. Maybe if someone around me orders it I can get a sip *keeping fingers crossed* ?! An absolutely amazing addition to the neighborhood. I've lived over here for almost 4 years and I've always wished we had a really nice cocktail bar close by. We went on a Sunday evening and they weren't too busy. The bartender was super nice and helpful when it came to our questions about any cocktail. We ordered about 3 cocktails each and they were all great. I did try the Tres Ranch Water which I would recommend! Also had to just try a regular margarita and they killed it. Both drinks were really refreshing. They also have an agave club which we joined! It's free and once you try 50 agaves you can win prices/have bragging rights... all that cool stuff. I'm so impressed with the new bar that is occupying the building where pub at the end of the universe used to be. I have long awaited to see what was going to open here and was thrilled when I saw the announcement through Eater PDX. The tequila and Mezcal offerings are extensive as are the other spirits I am going to need to work my way through the cocktail list beginning with the gin fizz! Love the vibe here. Elevated but casual. It always seems a little busy, but nothing to deter you from grabbing a drink or two. Not too far from home, I have been here quite a few times - ranging from "I have had a horrible night and need multiple drinks" to "I would love a single tasty cocktail" but end up ordering another because they are so tasty. Service is fast and attentive, drinks are pretty strong and flavorful. Cute little bar tucked into a residential neighborhood. had the 505 and cenote sundown and really loved the 505! Lots of mezcal cocktails which was fun and they have an agave club (unique!). The atmosphere was so-so and we probably won't make this a regular date night spot. It seemed a little more casual than we were aiming for but I wouldn't say that's a negative at all, just not what we were going for that night. Came for a couple drinks on a busy Friday night. The space is definitely riding a theme here, though it's inconsistent. Seems like the bar and mural were where the money went. The ceiling, floors and seating furniture look unfinished, and don't mesh well with the space. Oh, it was really draft (cold) as well. Brought a friend who isn't imbibing on the promise they had an NA menu. They were out of Seedlip, so they stuck to seltzer. No food to speak of, but they are somewhat connected to a pizza spot. Listen, it looked lovely, but this town is really fascinated with pizza at the moment and it wasn't really calling to us. Service was not friendly, but not quite rude. Could be the music was too loud for bar staff to adequately converse with the person ordering. In all, probably won't be back (a bit out of the way), with no other pillar of what makes a frequent hangout spot not really hitting the mark. read more

I think an update is fair, since I've had the opportunity to go back despite moving away from the area. The place is beautiful and the drinks are good, but the bartenders are so very unfriendly. They were super nice when we first started going, and it slowly went downhill. We thought it was just us, but we asked some friends at another local bar and they agreed the bartenders seemed really put off, rushed, and generally having a bad day. Which, don't get me wrong - we are all allowed to have bad days. But we've been here 4-5 additional times and still the same. I accept the attitude from a true dive bar where the drinks are cheap and quick, but if I'm paying $12 for a cocktail then can you at least acknowledge my futile existence, pretty please?!? read more
