I need to revise my review . This used to be a great place to visit to do some fun, interesting trades pick up some shoes for a steal however times have changed. There was a time you were treated good here decent value for your shoes within market payout if they were new. That is no longer the case. Recently offered up some decent DS pairs (J4's) but I was basically offered half their payout on each one. On used pairs, which by the way are clean and not cooked maybe VNDS worn one time was offered $10 a pair. I would drive 40 miles to deal with these guys but now that they've grown, fresh new faces behind the counter and whoever's handling their IG it's all gone downhill. Might be a cool spot to pick up some used pairs but anything else DS you can get 20-30% cheaper online and have better luck selling or trading your pairs on other platforms to get better value for your money. I get it, it's a business, but don't get got. What was once a fine establishment is now basically ran as a pawn shop offering you close to nothing new or used but charging over market on what they sell. Per their words on a recent conversation "we're in our own market" - meaning they do what they want. This review your subjective to my experience with the business And this isn't a one time incident it has been added a decline for quite some time, but I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt That things would pick back up however they're basically doing what they want. Take it or leave it. **Update the business was petty and blocked me on Instagram which is how we communicate communicated on deals and banned me from their establishment** by the way every time we made a deal they were always winning meaning I traded more for less - see further the responsible below It's not personal it's business. Although I appreciate the deals we've done in the past, today, you're no better than you were yesterday. Your offering a half of market value on a good set of dead stock Jordan 4s, offer me $10 for dunks didn't even try m This establishment has significantly declined in quality and value since my initial positive experiences. While I previously enjoyed trading and purchasing shoes here, the current practices are unacceptable. Recently, I attempted to trade several deadstock (DS) Jordan 4s, but was offered only half of their market value. Offers for lightly used, near-deadstock (VNDS) shoes were as low as $10 per pair. This starkly contrasts with their past fair valuations. Despite previously driving 40 miles to patronize this business, I can no longer justify the trip. The change in management and staff, coupled with a dismissive attitude exemplified by their statement "we're in our own market," has created a negative customer experience. While they may be a viable option for used shoes, new releases are available online for 20-30% less. Sellers will also find better value on other platforms. This review reflects my personal experience and is not an isolated incident. The decline has been ongoing, and despite giving them opportunities to improve, their practices have become increasingly unfavorable. An update to this review: Following this feedback, the business blocked me on Instagram (a primary communication channel for deals) and banned me from their physical location. It's worth noting that in all previous transactions, the business consistently benefited financially. While I appreciate past transactions, the current business model is unsustainable. Offering half the market value for DS Jordan 4s and a mere $10 for VNDS Dunks demonstrates a disregard for fair pricing. Although I could purchase these shoes elsewhere, I preferred the experience of trading. However, the condescending attitude and inflated prices, even on items like the Supreme SBs, make this establishment no longer worth my time or money. This is not personal, but a reflection of a deteriorating business model that prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction and fair dealing.

Awesome owner. Dope selection of shoes and clothing. Very cool storefront and background/history of the owner Andrew (multiple reasons for the name Holy Ground). If I had to describe the perfect sneaker shop, a couple things would be essential to me: - Great Selection - Great Prices - Knowledgeable Staff - Feeling Like My Business Is Appreciated Holy Ground checks every single box on the list. store is amazing. absolutely fair pricing. they also worked with me very well with pricing my used sneakers. i know a lot of people who seem to be in tough spots, tend to come in expecting a certain number on used shoes, and that's just not realistic. just a reminder that used shoe prices are not the same as deadstock ones. not even close. i'm thankful for these guys for not only what they've done for me, but also for the culture. most wholesome team in the game, BAR NONE. read more

Where to start with Holy Ground. Me and my girlfriend have been coming here ever since they opened. I've been going to different sneaker shops around town and Holy Ground just stood out to me the second I stepped in. I was welcomed with the upmost respect by the store owner Andrew and super hospitable an easy to talk to. Seeing his team expand has been very amazing also. Nothing but love for them. Best sneaker shop ever ! I've been ordering shoes with Holy Ground for about 6 months now and they never disappoint, always very very quick with the shipping and the staff are always super helpful. I had an incident (my fault) where I ordered my wrong size and messaged them to see if I could change the size and what do you know they did it ! Eventhough all sales were final , they Blessed me with a size swap and they covered the extra money that I had to pay on the difference. I'm super stoked right now lol. Guys trust me , this is the place you want to shop at ! Went in recently. There were no customers except me. Asian gentleman appears absolutely uninterested in helping me find the replacement right shoe size. I was planning to buy 2 pairs but I chose to leave without buying because I prefer to use my hard earned money on a place that values their customers. First a huge shout out to Andrew...A one man team holding it down! Second this was my first time but definitely not my last. I drove about 3.5 hrs and would have loved to chop it up but I only had time to go in on Saturday to make a deal for my collection. Needless to say it's was mad busy. With all that... Pretty new spot, but the owner is a real cool guy. I've done deals with him before he opened up the store through his YouTube channel @sneakpeek Always tries to give the best deal and doesn't rip people off when they sell, trade or buy shoes. Established in 2021.

I have been in the sneaker industry since 2011. The business grew during Covid which allowed me to open up my own sneaker shop! Through the difficulties of the pandemic God has blessed us through sneakers and we want to extend that blessing to the community!

It's sad because I used to come here all the time in high school and throughout my 20s. I don't know what happened to this place, but they clearly racially profile their customers. You would think a store that sells so many products promoting inclusion and progressive values, especially in such a liberal city, would hold itself to the same standard. This is covert racism, and I will never be coming back to this establishment. Do better.

Upon entry the class, the organization, the gorgeous colors and the eye catching reusable shopping bags( just $2.25) to the left bring out the smile and the desire to spend some time and enjoy every aisle. Every possible household and gardening product, great selection of sauces, ramen, soups, holiday seasonal goodies! Bin the cashier was so kind. Great energy. I'd rather get the right size, right fit to be comfortable for 9+ hrs a day when you're spending $40 + on each piece.

I came for this store's Black Friday raffle expecting a fair system, but the entire event was extremely disorganized and made no sense. They advertised "no lines," yet the parking lot was completely full and a semi-line had already formed outside the door. The biggest issue was that the raffle system defeated the whole purpose of arriving early--someone who showed up at 7 could get a ticket and potentially win a spot ahead of someone who arrived at 6. They were also handing out far more tickets than they had items on sale, and there was no system to track who had already received one. People were collecting multiple tickets with no oversight, which made the raffle even more unfair. To make matters worse, it felt like the whole event was set up just for content, with a camera crew filming while customers dealt with the confusion. Overall, it was a poorly planned and unfair sale with no real logic behind the process. read more

Holy Ground is the best! Found them on Youtube during the pandemic and have been a follower ever since. I truly believe they offer the most fair prices, they want people to get their grails and take a very reasonable amount as the business who is facilitating that. They are one of the few resell shops where their prices are reasonable. It's not a bunch of grails in a glass case and new releases. It's rather a curated mix of old and new, it shows that they really care about the culture itself. I have bought 3 pairs of shoes from this shop and have enjoyed them. The price was fair and they were shoes that you don't see everyday. Lapis Lazuli's 990v6, CDG Foams, and Red Lobsters. Fair prices, fast shipping.
