I love the huge inventory at this HomeGoods store! I made out like a bandit with all kinds of cute Hello Kitty mugs and Mikasa plates. They're ready for Easter and have all kinds of Easter decor on display. I got a few cute bunny figurines to add to my collection. The store was very clean and organized, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I will definitely be back more frequently to find more great deals!

Omg! Scored a copy of Rene Redzepi's gorgeous recipe book for only $25! Of all the weird places to find it for almost 70%off! Voted Worlds Best Restaurant for FIVE years! I only stopped in out of curiousity, since there isn't a Home Goods near my house. Wasn't expecting to score treasure, lol!

I love this HomeGoods location! The quality of items that I find are always so great. Everything is so organized! The best thing is the staff that they hire at this location are always super friendly and always willing to help. Today, I ran in with my dog to get a treat and new toys for her. They had great selection and again, SUPER ORGANIZED. Poway HomeGoods sets the standard! At checkout, it was super easy and I didn't have to wait long to be taken care of and rang up. I have been coming here for many years and is my fave HG location. :)

Safety hazards all over the store :(

Safety hazards all over the store :( Some more serious than others. Overall messy, overwhelming, and concerning.

I.LOVE.HOME.GOODS! It has a great assortment of home decor (lamps, faux plants, rugs, artwork), tchotchkes and seasonal decor, as well as organizers for jewelry/office/kitchen/pantry, pet supplies, and some furniture. From Rae Dunn mugs to a cute pet hammock to bed sheets, they've got you covered! However, selection and cleanliness could be better. I've found some other Home Goods to have much more product & variety than this store. What I LOVE buying here: -Snoopy glassware & ceramic plates/dishes (lots of product year-round & seasonal pieces too!) -Cute & unique dog toys. There's a whole wall of dog toys, most at around $5-$10. There are always special ones for the season. I love the punny ones! -Picture frames of all types. They sell square and rectangular frames for gallery walls and they are WAY more affordable than Walmart, Target, or Amazon. -Greeting cards. They are anywhere from $1 to $1.99 each & they are high quality & very unique. My go-to spot for cards! -Planters. The only thing is, it is often difficult to snag multiple of the same one, so if you see a set you want, snag it up right away! -Gifts Receipts: You get printed/emailed, or printed & emailed receipts here at checkout which makes returns so easy! THANK YOU! Dog-Friendly: This store is also dog-friendly! No, your dog does not have to be a service animal, ESA, or anything. A sales associate told me dogs are allowed as long as they are friendly & do not park. Obviously, make sure your dog has relieved itself prior to coming in. It's common sense people, don't take advantage of their policy & be inconsiderate.

**update** Homegoods reached out to me to make things right. Recently I bought a regular priced large serving platter from Homegoods in Poway. When I returned home, I noticed a hairline fracture which is not instantly obvious when you pick it up. So, a few days later, I went to exchange it and to be honest, I expected some sort of fake apology for the defective item. At this time, I did not have the receipt, cause why would I save the receipt for something I had no intention of returning. I talked to the cashier manager, Elizabeth, who told me they don't accept defective items in a dismissive tone. I explained that the fracture was not obvious when I bought it and I did not look carefully enough. Anyways, I asked for her manager. After waiting for some time, Bianca showed up, who confirmed, we don't accept defective items back, 'i guess, they only sell them!'. I mentioned I would write a review about my experience and they said we don't care about online reviews. I don't know if the managers working in this store are racist or do not understand how customer service works, or it's home goods policy to sell defective items in order to make a small profit. I am attaching photos to show the hairline fracture. The item is just 20$, so who cares but the level of customer service was horrible. Maybe HomeGoods is doing bad financially and is desperate for the 20 bucks. Hopefully, it helps someone who thinks about shopping at this store.

Great deals on hundreds of items for home

Corrie and Katie are extremely helpful and nice. Picking out outdoor furniture here was a breeze…read more The selection has both outdoor and indoor, so if you want inspiration it's a great spot. Lots of different pieces for entertaining as well. The space is large and unassuming which I like. There's premium items so you know you're going to get a lot of wear for the quality.

This is for the Mission Valley Store…read more I am so impressed with this furniture store. Co managers Paul and Sandi are highly professional and articulate/kind communicators. I saw an announcement for the grand opening of this furniture store in Mission Valley. I called and expressed my interest in buying a vintage looking couch in a bright raspberry-ish color. I know; that seemed like a stretch for the furniture stores here in SD. Paul assured me that his coworker Sandi had experience in both retro design and color, and that he'd be happy to send her over to my home for a consult. He told me that there was a fee for the service, but it would be then applied to anything that I purchased. When I told him that would be fine if I could be guaranteed of said design and color options, he said he'd be happy to send her over without a fee. That was a nice first impression! Soon thereafter, bright and cheery and ever so knowledgeable Sandi arrived with a big smile that matched her positive attitude. She measured, looked at the current state of my living room for color, texture and style, as well as asked me for color/style ideas. After providing her with those things, we made an appointment for me to go to the showroom. In the next couple of days-- even before my appointment, she had sent me a couple of sofa shape options as well as a spot on fabric color. Oh my goodness-- a miracle worker! At my meeting with her in the store, she had me test out the sofas for cushion level comfort and depth. Then, it was easier to narrow down my choices. I was there for a couple of hours. I was thrilled that we were pretty much on the same page about what would work-- as well as our collective philosophy of "thinking outside the box". Accordingly, we came up with a fabulous design-- incorporating design elements from 3 different sofas. As if that wasn't enough, the next day she came over-- again, to fine tune both the shape and dimensions, to assure that it would work wonderfully in my home. My new raspberry colored retri couch will arrive any day now, and I am dying to see it! I can't say enough about Sandi and her level of customized customer service---such an anomaly here in San Diego. Please go visit them at their Mission Valley locale-- and tell them that I sent you. You will thank me later, for sure! Enjoy!
