I had ordered some items on-line for pick up. Quick and easy even though this location always seems to be super busy. The employees are nice and always making sure you are able to find anything you need (sometimes stuff I didn't realize I needed hehehe). Always some sort of deals going on like buy so many get so many free or our favorite mini/pocket anti bacterial goodies 6 for $10. My favorite time of the year is from Halloween on, always such fun and festive scents. The candles are always a hit as well. It's halloween season in Bath& Body Works and although we're still in July and I am not mad at the early arrivals. I came in seeking a delicious smelling perfume I was pleasantly surprised to see all the cool Halloween decorations and products available. The store was fairly empty when I arrived. Initially I didn't even see any staff present. I searched for a perfume for about ten minutes before I was greeted by an employee. She helped me locate all the perfumes which was great guidance as I somehow ended up in the candle and hand sanitizer section. I love that I was able to try each perfume and lotion using the little tester applicators. Which was amazing because I almost ended up purchasing a body mist that I did not enjoy the scent of I absolutely love the sink area for people to try hand soaps and maybe even face washes. So the not so smart girl behind the counter doesn't know what sales are available. She rang up my order wrong and I had to walk back into the store and had her remove one item that I paid full price for when I didn't need to there appeared to be only two people on the floor, which seemed a little odd to me at Christmas time. They do have some nice things, but they really do need to upgrade the staff and make sure that everybody is educated as to what the sales are and where the merchandise is located in the back when it is paid for, and it's just a pick up. They always seem to have a sale going on. Whether it's lotion or soaps, this place has it all. Parking is tough as it's located between a Ross and Nordstrom Rack. This is my go-to Bath & Body Works store, even though another store is closer to my house. The staff are friendly and don't follow you around, pressuring you to get more stuff. In a time of heightened COVID restrictions, I think they realize any customers willing to wait in line for an hour just to shop are going to buy stuff. Today, Marissa and Heather provided outstanding customer service. I had an allergic reaction to a new product i purchased last week. I went to the store today to exchange the product for something else. Heather and Marissa made sure I left with products I felt comfortable with. More importantly (and unlike the company's medical line and phone customer service line), my well-being genuinely mattered to Marissa and Heather. While making hourly goals is definitely important in retail, these ladies remembered the big picture - that customer safety and health is number one. Single dad, Just came from this store with my little girl as I wanted to get something to make her happy. Went through the store and as usual we were respectful and polite. When came the check out, the cashier just told me : "next time sir, please do not smoke in our store!"..."I asked politely if she could repeat and after she did, I asked her if she saw me smoking as If she did she would be one of a kind as I never smoked in my life.... I didn't receive any apologies or even "sorry I might have been mistaken". I didn't want to make a scene for my daughter, but between the employees blabbing around and this women stating this...they just lost a customer. I visited earlier today and I'm absolutely so glad that I did. Not only was I able to find all the things that I'd hoped but I was able to take care of a lot of shopping that I'd been hoping to do at an in-person store. Yippee. Even better, too, I was able to purchase lots of the necessities and cart them home since I wasn't flying. The staff who were workin during my shopping spree were the absolute sweetest. They fawned over my lil one and she had such a great time checking out the anti-bac holders. I was able to redeem a number of coupons and free items through my app. I got a hell of a deal. I left such a happy customer. I was also so appreciative for the fact that the cashier who rang me up also helped me to ring things up in such a way that it'd benefit me most. I couldn't have been happier about that. I wish this store, or at least these employees, were the ones at my neighborhood store. They helped me to smell difference scents and make decisions about which scents would be great for fall and for the huzzby. Awesome. I am not a fan of B&BW (everything is perfume-ish and just not good, quality product in my opinion...and I find better brand of candles at TJX) but I visited the store to purchase a gift for 'Secret Santa' festivities at work! I love it when I receive POOR customer service - - I tend to spend less money as a result! However, I made my coupon work to my advantage but was willing to spend a few dollars more. Hopefully, my coworker will enjoy her gift & she will not miss 3 items she could've received from B&BW. My covid shopping experience was extremely disappointing. The cashier did not bag one of my items. By the time I got home the store was closed. No big deal, I thought...called when the store opened in the morning to be greeted by the manager who treated me as a thief. She said she would have to call the cashier as she was not scheduled to confirm that the $10 item was not bagged. She would need to call me back before I could come in and have them rectify THEIR MISTAKE. I made it easier for them and just returned the entire purchase. Manager did NOTHING to remedy the situation and did not apologize when I came to the store. Horrible customer service. Simply asked, you want to return your entire purchase, right? Tip for management, don't treat your customers like they're thieves when your employee made a mistake. Yu like a da smell good goodies and da sampling of da smell good products? Lotions, candles, oils, soaps, skincare products and air fresheners offered here are all pretty good. There are a myriad of scents to fit anybody's preference. I like to sample all unfamiliar lotions/creams and see if I can find a new faborite. The customer service is great too. They remind you about the sales and deals they have going on and point you out to things you're interested in. I love having their nice scented soaps in our guest bathroom and kitchen. I also love slathering mah dry ass with their scented body creams. You can find interesting seasonal scented toiletries. It's fun to have your home and yo' body smelling like the smells of the season. 'Dis be da place to find something to make you soft and smelling guud. Only one of three workers were friendly so I think I'll take my business elsewhere. I don't mind the company itself but not a good first impression for this location. Overall very friendly environment and one of the cashiers, Allison was especially helpful. She gave me some really good recommendations and was really approachable and easy to talk to. I was in a rush so I did not want to download the app but the girl in the front kept bugging me about it. I also noticed at the register, the girls would tally each time someone didn't download the app. Seems like it would be annoying for them. I felt bad. COVID-19 precautions were taken very seriously, and they asked all customers to use hand sanitizer before going in the store (which is not something I've seen at all locations near me). So disappointing to see a store that just opened run so poorly. Waited in line forever with only a couple people in front of me while an associate a hispanic girl with blonde hair and a larger girl stood around talking and laughing it up, lovely. Some of these associates are obnoxious and make shopping there not a pleasant experience, shameful. On Saturday, 12/18, I went into the the Carmel Mountain store for some Christmas shopping. They were very busy, which was expected. I was greeted by an employee with a smiling face. Shortly after, I was minding my own business checking out their products when I witnessed an employee talking to their colleague in a condescending manner. The blonde employee asked a brunette employee in the front of the store for customers to hear, "Why are you just standing there?" in a sarcastic tone. This blonde employee came from nowhere, so she didn't witness the brunette employee help a gentleman find a scent for himself. I'm giving three stars because there were good employees at this location considering the Christmas shopping rush, but this blonde person must be reprimanded for the tone she took with others in front of customers. I'm not sure if she's a manager, but this person should not talk to ANYONE in that tone. read more
