So do u want ur money back? Well yeah. Acted like it was a chore. That charleston pizza with the cheddar cheese made it forgivable. Ordered next time a pizza n sausage. Epic fail. Sat in the fridge for 5 days. Just ordered the charleston again sub some spicy pizza sauce. It looks nothing like the first Charleston. Tastes ok but nothing special. Check my pics. The parking lot is full of pot holes so be careful and very tight parking. For $20 for a medium pizza it should be darn good to compete with the million pizza places we have here. I will be heading back to village idiot. Just better bang for ur buck n tastes the same every time

Calvino's does not have a full bar, but they do have an extensive wine selection and some nice beers to choose from. If everyone at the table is ordering wine, go for the bottle as it will save you money. They have some really nice, inexpensive wines that pair very well with pasta - you won't break the bank on wine (but you could...)! All in all, it was a great night! I frequent this establishment often. The last couple of times I've been in there I have noticed that there has been a person (I was told his name was Tyler) working who is very rude to employees and customers. Last week when I was in there he told a customer that they needed to wait for their takeout order elsewhere and they had no reason to be dining out. tonight after coming in from the mud hens game I heard this individual yell at another employee to shut the "fuck up". Not once but four times and somebody else who was working could only tell them just to do their work. I'm not sure who is running this place, but something needs done! I've never been to a business where people are allowed to disrespect customers AND employees. As a business manager myself, I DONT put up with this kind of behavior. I think I am going to start taking my business elsewhere, and I will be informing my friends and family who visit your establishment of the stuff going on. read more

I love their pizza. If you are looking for New York style pizza in Toledo, this is the place to go. I agree it has the look of a New York City loft. If you are looking for a family atmosphere to sit down with your kids and have a pizza, this probably wouldn't be my suggestion. It's more of a place to get a pizza, have a beer, and chill out with friends. The servers are pretty chill and laid back. My only complaint is we tried to get a pizza to go and found that they are not open according to their posted hours. It seems like they only open when the feel like it. read more

Upstairs bar is great as well and the drink prices are very reasonable for downtown Updating my review to say they have been handling the covid crisis late and were one of the few places in the area that stayed open late when this started. It's the best downtown pizza. If your down there and roaming, I recommend this place. Pizza Papalis is good, but this is better. It is a little pricey considering the pizza is very thin and the toppings light. It is, however, very good pizza. The upstairs bar is also a great place to hang out. read more

Item 2: Regardless of what you call it, I love this place, and have since the 1970s. This place is a little neighborhood hole-in-the-wall, and I don't think the decor has changed since the 1970s (literally). Who says that's a bad thing? GYROs: Bottom line is that this is some of the BEST tasting gyro meat I've ever eaten. Period. It's flavored to perfection, and cooked to juicy yet crisp perfection, also. I have no idea what spices they add to the lamb/beef mixture (nutmeg? cumin? cinnamon?) but it has a unique and delicious flavor. This is the first place where, as a little kid, I ever ate a gyro, and they still make one of the best. (Not that my ethnic background matters, but I am Greek, and I've eaten a lot of gyros in a lot of cities and countries). If this is not the best, it's damned close to it. The chicken kabobs are excellent too. When I feel like eating something with more protein and less fat, this is my go to. These are fantastically seasoned and grilled perfectly every time. They come with rice or fries, and some veggies. The Greek salads are next level. They are large, well presented, well put together, and come with a BIG ASS SLAB of feta cheese. The homemade Greek dressing is not the best I have ever had, but it is more than serviceable. Pizza? Oh yeah, the pizza.... J & G,s thin crust pizza is also excellent. The flavor of the sauce is more traditional than what you will find at Amie's or Gino's, and therefore, may appeal to a wider range of tastes. I'd stick with the more basic toppings. To drink, they have milk and pop for the kids, and beer and wine for the adults. In case you haven't guessed, their wine list includes retsina and mavrodaphne. Obviously, as the place is also Upside Brewing, they have a pretty nice selection of beer. Upside has a few taps, and multiple taps from other local and regional brew houses are available. They do get busy, but we've never had unacceptably slow or rude service.

This isn't a chain pizzeria so I don't think they offer coupons or discount codes. An XL pizza with mushrooms was around $20 before tip (and you don't have to tip but I like to because I appreciate servers even though people complain about tipping culture). However, with a friend picking up the pizza I'd ordered, they charged $29.90 stating that their prices had recently changed. That doesn't sit well. A 50% price increase upon arrival is not right. It sounds like the person who took my order and quoted me the price was thinking of the prior specials under the original ownership, and even though I ordered with those prices, they did not want to honor it. The manager was very argumentative, and I offered that I would return the pizza for a full refund or he could refund the difference. After 5 minutes of back and forth, the manager finally agreed to refund $6 to make it right. With the new ownership and massive price increases, I guess that's the last I'll be ordering of PizzAroma.
