I am now SO thankful for that requirement, because that eventually led us to Sara and Events + Style. Since I hadn't originally budgeted for a wedding coordinator, I wasn't able to spend a fortune on one. Sara worked with me on a price that would work for us, and for our budget. This was initially what drew me to Sara--She was literally the ONLY coordinator I contacted that was willing to work with me on price. We met a few times throughout the planning process, and Sara always answered my emails. I had A LOT of questions during the planning process, and she always responded quickly and kindly, which I appreciated so much. Sara was a huge source of support for me in the week and days leading up to the wedding. She got in touch with everyone concerning pick ups and last minute details (While I was scrambling to finish last minute decorations I decided to come up with and deal with my influx of family coming in to town) which was super helpful. She was very organized and asked detailed questions about all of the decorations and supplies we had for the wedding. We were nervous it was going to rain on the wedding day, and she dealt with coming up with a Plan B, in case it did rain on our outdoor wedding. She had a detailed schedule on the wedding day, and made sure that my husband and I ate our dinner. Sara was so very supportive and helpful during both the wedding day and throughout the planning process. I can't even imagine not having had her to help during our wedding day. We were able to truly just leave everything to her, and enjoy our special day, which I will be forever grateful for.

We were especially grateful to the team for pivoting so smoothly and getting everyone on the same page when we had to make last-minute changes. Julie is extremely detail-oriented. We started working with her six months before the wedding, and she was always prompt in answering my many questions and helping me think through ideas. Even though we had already negotiated and finalized all of our vendors, we weren't entirely sure how everything would come together. Julie created a very detailed timeline, caught small gaps in our event rentals, and ensured everything stayed on track. When unexpected issues came up with our original rental company just five days before the wedding, we had to switch vendors and push the ceremony back by half an hour. Julie was amicable, professional, attentive, and willing to get on calls with us throughout the covid ordeal. What we loved about Julie is that although there was a long period between our original date and new wedding date, she was extremely organized with the original notes from the venue, us, and any discussions we had with the vendors. Plus, she has excellent relationships and connections with the local vendors. Julie doesn't play around either! She tells it how it is and won't sugarcoat things for you. She will let you know if something is a good idea or not but will always side with what you want as a couple. The day of our wedding, we did not notice ANYTHING GO WRONG. If anything did happen, we weren't aware or she fixed it right away. She made the whole day flow flawlessly. I would HIGHLY recommend Julie as your wedding planner. We booked her for the month but honestly, the month service became almost a two year service commitment. She is reasonably priced for her years of expertise and you can't beat her price compared to other wedding planners that may offer less services in their packages. Merilee gave great suggestions, recommendations, and feedback on all decisions. Once I made the decisions, that's when Merilee took over: she kept track of the vendor contracts, reminded me when payments were due, and communicated with the vendors throughout the process to ensure everything was prepared and they arrived at the right place and time. Merilee is so organized and detail oriented, which I love. She is very accessible and always responded to emails and texts right away. She also gave us access to an online site to keep track of ideas, guest list, timeline, and budget which was super helpful. The wedding itself went so perfectly!
