Also, the hallway seemed a bit warm for a hot summer day, but there were no temperature issues inside our room. Our king bed room was clean. It had a nice-sized shower with sliding glass doors. I was able to shower and relax for a few hours after a long day because it was fairly quiet (except for some limited street noise).

I simply asked about the possibility of an early check-in after a long drive, and the way Tammy, the manager, responded was shockingly unprofessional. It wasn't just a "no" -- it was the tone, the attitude, and the complete lack of basic courtesy. There was zero effort to be polite or accommodating, which is the bare minimum you expect from someone in hospitality, especially a manager. What stood out the most is that this wasn't a busy or chaotic situation, it was a straightforward guest request that could have been handled in a respectful way. Instead, it felt like I was being talked down to for even asking. When someone in a management role behaves like this, it reflects on the entire hotel. If this is the standard being set at the top, that's a serious problem. I hope ownership or corporate takes a closer look at how guests are being treated here, because one interaction like this can completely ruin what should be a simple stay.

Disaster Run! First…read morenight 1. Couldn't check in because of remodeling they had to move us rooms to the 10th floor and give us two beds instead of 1 2. Our toilet seat wasn't on the toilet they had to send someone to repair. Second night 1. Elevators weren't working had to go up and down 10 flights 2. Ice machine wasn't working leaked all over the floor 3. Key didn't work we were given a new set. Third night 1. Elevators weren't working again until late in day we had to use service elevator but there was a wedding so had to walk up to second floor to use. 2. We got soaked in downtown Baltimore ran up 10 flights of stairs for our key not to work again. 3. Husband had to run down 10 flights of stairs barefoot because shoes were soaked to get new key. 4. Our room didn't get serviced we left at 11 am this day. We had to use towels to dry ourselves and stuff and call for new towels. 5. Manager complaint to Michael who told us to use laundry room which also was offline and didn't work 6. Asked for preliminary bill sent to us but email services also not working We spoke to two managers Michael and Randall and as a female they completely dismissed me not even looking at me while I spoke. I had to send my husband to do the talking as he was the only one they would acknowledge...kind of. We were promised Marriott bonvoy points since they said there was no way anything would be refunded. The never arrived. There was a line of people complaining in the lobby they were really rude to the females.

We also found a nice coffee shop nearby, hiking at the Cromwell park, and Whole Foods store close by too. The room was serviced (which is sometimes hit or miss) but the soap was empty, so it was a bit of an issue trying to get the wall dispenser refilled. The gym was pretty typical, but several weights were missing, and it wasn't even locked, so that's probably why but they should make it well-stocked and secure. There is an outdoor pool that's obviously seasonal, which is limiting. Otherwise, the front desk reception was friendly, there was plenty of parking, and the price was good and better than staying inside downtown Baltimore.

We were supposed to stay at The Days Inn across the street but our horrible experience checking in (see review) forced us to seek other arrangements. When we drove across to the Comfort Inn and explained the situation to Daevon the counter agent, he was friendly and sympathetic to us, and offered us the lowest possible room rate available. With his personable help, we checked in immediately and found ourselves comfortable, safe, and cared for during our overnight stay. Daevon and the rest of the team were professionals and were attentive, be it for extra towels, an offer to help with our luggage, or during check out. Only issue we had was the free breakfast spread - wasn't anything truly edible, but because this was a last minute stay, I cannot deduct points on this one. Overall we were more than satisfied and will consider this location in the future - you should too.

They need to be replaced ASAP 3) as with my prior stays at this property, their breakfast sucks 4) front desk staff was a bit stiff when acknowledging my platinum elite member status. As their king beds are firmer in single room suites and their location is convenience, I will most likely stay here again.

He was engaging, charismatic, and clearly knew the property and its history inside and out. That kind of welcome makes a difference. We were in Suite 18, which sits in a separate tower connected to the spa. The room itself was well appointed. You can tell nothing in there was inexpensive, and everything was fresh and well maintained, no wear, no chipped paint, nothing neglected. If I'm being honest, some of styling is starting to feel a touch dated in places, but that's a matter of taste more than quality. One note, and to be totally fair it was an unbelievably hot day: when we returned from dinner the room was in the mid to high 70s, and it took about an hour and a half to cool down. The staff explained we needed to lower the thermostat in 2-degree increments rather than setting it straight to our target, and they were right, it worked. Still, that's a bit of a workaround at this price point. A lovely property with genuinely gracious service. We'd stay again.

My stay here was a pleasant change of pace. Warren gave me a warm greeting and noted my meal preferences. After giving me a brief download of the local area I was shown to my room. The rooms are comfortable and each has a resident beta fish. I found the bed comfortable and the bathroom nicely appointed. The breakfast here is great Warren puts great care into everyone's preferences whether vegetarian, vegan, or you just don't like bananas or melons like me. I have to give Inn at 2920 a ringing endorsement, and would recommend this Inn to anyone staying in Baltimore. Their rates are also very reasonable, and a comparable bargain when you factor in breakfast.

Warren remembered me from my first visit--almost a year ago!--and kept me well supplied and refreshed with copious coffee and tasty breakfasts. I'm an insomniac and I can never sleep in hotels, but this feels like a home away from home and I'm able to get more rest here. Also the jacuzzi is the greatest experience in the world when you've been on a plane for five hours!
