these guys are horrible i had a one time cleaning paid for 6 hours and was told 2 gals would come and clean for 3 hours they stayed for an hour and left couldn't tell they were even there, than I got billed for the next month and today again another charge, i was told if i cancel it would cost me $100 i never signed up for a membership. cant call them SCAM!!!!!!! This company has zero transparency with their pricing. I read the terms and conditions and service contract prior to joining, and there was nothing about what they will really charge you if you decide to cancel early. It's about 3 times more than their ads and documents say. And the company rep continued to be vague and lack transparency when I addressed the issue with them, although they did agree to cut what they wanted to charge me to cancel in half, but only after I threatened to sue them. Furthermore, they nickel and dime you with their cleaning pricing, too, so it won't be as inexpensive as they make you believe it will be. BEWARE! read more

i signed up with Homeaglow. They changed cleaners 3 times. They changed the time without asking, then no one came. I took off for them to come. NOw i am trying to cancel from this nonfunctional business. HOMEAGLOW DOES NOT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER. Now, they are scheduling all on there own, not asking me if the date is ok to come into my house. My neighbor provided a link to a free four hour house cleaning. I requested the cleaner pay attention to the floors and dusting which is all she did, and did poorly. The floors were streaked and still dirty, dusting was haphazard with most surfaces ignored. She left the tap on in the guest bathtub which I discovered four days later. The tap is difficult to close, but why she didn't notify me or ask for help is a mystery. Needless to say, I wrote a poor review and cancelled my next appointment. Then I discovered Homeaglow charged me twice for the free cleaning! Then they charged me for early termination of the contract. What contract?! Despite many back and forth emails, there is still no resolution. The company doesn't value long term clients, seeming to seek quick profits and move on. The cleaners are contractors, so there are no real consequences for Homeaglow. Overall, steer clear of this group. They will not provide the services nor the quality you want if you really want a clean home. read more

lol yelp removed my first review. I used this service, was scammed out of hundreds of dollars, and the owner has absolutely no remorse or empathy for customers whatsoever. her goal is to take as much money as she can, without consideration for repeated desperate pleas for assistance. the service provided was weird- I hired one cleaner, two showed up, and I still had to reclean my house afterward. I do not recommend this company at all. complete waste of money lining someone else's pocket during the hardest year of my life. read more

Terrible program, stay away. Cleaners were okay but I tried to 'ride out' the original commitment and they got me on an automatic renewal because my timing was slightly off. Now I'm being penalized with a $179 "early cancellation" fee. I stayed and paid for 6 mos... this isn't right and they just don't care. In fact they probably thrive on this type of bad faith. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. The reason I chose this company is because they state that they background check all of their housekeepers and that they are bonded and insured. Last week, my cleaner Breanna showed up at my house with someone to help her clean who would not give me his name when coming into my home. It made me extremely uncomfortable -- enough that I stayed to keep an eye on things during the cleaning. He was obviously not with Home Aglow or back ground checked. He was also not bonded and insured. After that scary cleaning, I switched cleaners. Yesterday, my new cleaner, Sonia, stated she was " running late and on my way to pick up two people to help me clean." I messaged Home Aglow customer service about this and they said she could only bring people to my home who are approved. I told Sonia this and she said that she was told by Home Aglow that she could run this like her own company and bring whomever she wanted to my house to help her. Then, she never showed up. I let the company know that my cleaner did not show through their website so that I would not be billed for a cleaning that never happened. I also tried to contact customer service about the problem of bringing unapproved cleaners to my home. I left 4 voicemails and attempted 6 times to get a response through their messaging. Each time, the message was a link to their FAQ page which is obviously not helpful. Because the company is allowing non Background checked and non bonded or insured people into my home, I cancelled my "Forever Clean" membership with them. When I cancelled this membership, they immediately stole $204 from my account for cancelling! This is completely dishonest -- especially since they are not standing by their guarantee of having background checked, bonded and insured cleaners working in people's homes. If you want to keep your home and family safe (not to mention your bank account!) RUN from this company! They are as dishonest and scary as they come read more

Whatever you do, do not use this company schedule a cleaning for today seven days prior reconfirmed with the cleaners supposedly two or three times over the weekend no-show as scheduled for today. As everybody else noted, there's no way to get a hold of these people, I did have $130 charge out of my account and of course you can't get an answer from anybody. READ THE FINE PRINT w/ THE SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOS IF YOU DON'T WANT EXTRA FEES/ SUBSCRIPTIONS. This is not a one-time deal and when you try to cancel the subscription they auto-sign you up for, they charge you an additional $151 fee for cancelling. I asked to cancel over the phone (they don't answer phone calls, but will respond in an email suggesting other cleaners and providing you with a $20 credit to use them again). Not to mention, the cleaner that came over had a broken vacuum- I offered for her to use mine- but she insisted on running to the store to get tape to fix hers, which took about 30-40 mins of cleaning time to do. She was in and out, taking phone calls. I did not get the 3 hours alotted and only a small fraction of my services were addressed. Rest assured I will make sure everyone I know is aware of this poor experience. I'm a single mom who won't make rent this month because Homeaglow has "strict policies". So much for caring about their customer's well-being. I practically begged them to waive the fee, but it won't happen. read more
