Another new restaurant in this space. Unfortunately it was not exciting or wowing in any way. Very limited menu which was not done well. Chicken was over cooked and dry. Though the sandwich can be made into a wrap it was not the sandwich ingredients that were listed in the wrap. It was so dry I asked for a side of mayo which I was charged for. Pizza was fine though nothing fantastic. All sides are extra so a sandwich and side is at least $20. Supposed to have popcorn available per the menu free which was not. Service was adequate but not great though that may improve as they have not been open long. As always this space has a great outdoor area but that is about where it ends. They did have a lot of tvs to watch sporting events and a decent beer selection. There were dart boards and a couple went to play and they didn't know where the darts were so they just went back to their table. Based on the food and atmosphere I won't be heading back anytime soon but I have it a try.

We came to sit at the bar and watch the Bills game, our server was attentive and kind. They have a pretty wide selection of drinks including tasting flights. We tried the "Anything but Average" chicken sandwich which was mildly spicy and a really large portion! We also tried the Benchwarmers pretzels and I really enjoyed the dipping sauces that they came with. Plenty of bar seating and the option for reservations on OpenTable. The patio looks really nice and I'm excited to come back in the summer/fall to enjoy a game out there!

First time at Homefield and I was slightly unimpressed. It had a good atmosphere & designed cute. However I made reservations for 7:15 and didn't get to my table until 7:35. Our server was really nice but all around slow. We got highnoons that were flat and expired by a few months. One of our food ordered was not put in and came out 15 mins later. It would be a nice place to grab a beer but not dine in.

A good Grandview spot with a good patio. The food was good. Definitely would get the smash burger again! And sweet potato tots are a must for me. I liked that they had complimentary popcorn too.

Smash burger and fries. Fries needed some salt and pepper, but they had a solid crisp.

Our server was so friendly and attentive. They had a drink special going on which was a delicious peach tequila cocktail for only $6! We got wings and a quesadilla, both of which were so delicious and well priced. But the best part of our experience was going to the bar and asking for a hot nut shot, an OU staple, which is coffee and hazelnut liqueur. I think it was one of the managers who saw us waiting and asked if we needed anything. When we asked for the shot she said they were out of hot coffee but offered to brew a whole new pot for us. She was so kind and we will be back just because of that interaction alone.

I recently went to watch the US win a World Cup game & the vibes were incredible! Everyone is there to have fun & the service is great! There are a ton of different seltzers, ciders & beers to choose from, & the cocktails are tasty too! Their old fashioned is spot on! They have the best gametime snacks & bites too; there are 3 different kinds of loaded fries! The Buffalo fires had the ideal level of heat & adding the chickens tenders to them is the way to go! You need to give them a try if you haven't already!

Burgers and beef for the order of the day at The Rail!…read more Of course, other menu options are available, but beef selections are well prepared, succulent, and if that is your style of food, this is the right place for you locally. The Rail in Grandview Heights is one of the offerings for restaurants that have popped up since the development of Grandview Crossing. It is a welcome addition to the area and offers dining. That is a step up from simple casual or fast food. It has been my experience at this location. Reservations are not a necessity. However, I always recommend calling for reservations or making them online. A table reservation simply leaves less to chance. The staff are friendly and helpful and accommodating customer needs. All of my experiences here have been pleasant and high-quality.

My hubby ordered the Bootlegger burger with the BBQ sauce on the side, and I ordered the Bonfire burger; we also ordered pretzel bites as an appetizer. I used Toast to order and was given a 15 to 20 minute wait time. Once we pulled into the lot for the restaurant we saw that they had designated spots for takeout, so we pulled in. It isn't 100% clear on their sign if you need to call them when you arrive; there is a number listed on the sign but that's it. So I called them to let them know we had arrived and the young lady ran our food out to us. It was smooth and seamless and we headed home. All of the food was hot and delicious! Nobody can make a burger like The Rail!! They are a little pricey; with tip, it cost $57.00. But you get what you pay for! We will definitely order takeout from them again soon. Next time I think we will just run in and snag our order since they have a convenient side door marked "carryout" separate from the entrance. Super convenient!!

Okay food, okay drinks and fun spot to play ball. Since then, the owner, Ed, and his team have committed to making this place a premier spot in Grandview. When I worked near Grandview, I would constantly drag my coworkers here for their fantastic happy hour. They have a pretty good draft beer list and they are all half price during happy hour. Match that with $3.50 well drinks and $4.25 doubles, you can have a great time AND a small tab. On top of the great drink specials, Prestons took over the kitchen a few years ago, and they make some pretty amazing burgers. If you're with a group that's not too picky, grab the burger box which includes 10 burgers and fries for $50. For the icing on the cake, they have renovated the entire interior of the bar (the bathrooms could still use some work), added a removable dome over the volleyball courts for sand volleyball all year round, and have been hosting weekly drop in tournaments for a few months now. One of the big reasons that I prefer playing at Woodlands is that your league plays at the same time every week. No 6pm one week then 11pm the next. Oh and their league prices are super competitive. This is the first year they've had the dome, so we can't be too critical, but it would be great to not have to walk all the way inside the bar to use the restroom! I'm sure they'll get that straightened out in years to come!

This visit was post-COVID restrictions and I was happy to give them another visit. This Woodlands has a different vibe, but it's fun. They have a long bar, community seating and high tops as well as a lounge-like area. They also have a really big patio with a couple volleyball courts. They have two pool tables, duckpin bowling, shuffleboard, and a handful of other games inside. The jukebox had music flowing all night and the staff was friendly. Oh, and there's also a Late Night Slice kitchen attached to the bar. If you're in the mood for pizza, they have you covered. Overall, I'm happy to update this review with another star.
