My favorite place to grocery shop! In this economy, who's not looking for a bargain? Grocery Outlet has always been one of my go to stores, and this location never disappoints. The shelves are consistently well stocked, and the prices are hard to beat--especially on nonperishable items, specialty snacks, ice cream, chocolate, and everything you need to put together an amazing charcuterie board. If you're a cheese lover like I am, this place is a hidden gem. They always have a great selection of artisan cheeses at prices that make it way too easy to justify buying "just one more." The customer service is friendly and efficient. There aren't self checkout lanes, but honestly, I've never minded because if the lines start getting long, they open another register almost immediately. When I was doing keto, I was pleasantly surprised by how many keto friendly snacks they carried, and their produce is reasonably priced too. Bottom line: great prices, fun finds, friendly staff, and consistently good service. I'll happily continue being a loyal customer! read more

The best Grocery Outlet I've been to. I'm a fan of GrocOut and I do most of my shopping there. Unfortunately, many GrocOuts have lots of problems, so this being the best one is a low bar. Still I was very happy to have gone there. The cashier was friendly when I first entered, while very smart and efficient when he rang me up. There were plenty of staff organizing things early in the morning while it is the largest Grocery Outlet I've shopped, which makes getting your items that much easier. Shannon is horrible! I don't know if this lady was in a bad mood or what but the way she treated the customer in front of me and myself were unacceptable. She yelled at the customer saying she gave him the right change when clearly she messed up and had to open the register 2 additional times to correct her mistake all while huffing and puffing about it, she was so rude to me when ringing me up and starting talking under her breath. It sucks that they have people like that in customer service specially since most of us are trying to support our local stores instead of the big box stores read more

Egg prices has gone dow however do not come here for eggs. Went to get eggs here and they have not lowered their prices alike other Grocery outlets and stores. Why were their white ordinary eggs - 12 pack at $10.09? Left to go to Costco to get an organic 18 count eggs for $7. In addition, the grocery outlet in Vacaville is way cheaper and reasonable! What that tells me is this grocery outlet is intentionally PRICE GAUGING! Will not be coming to this poor of an excuse grocery outlet with their PRICE GAUGING in the hood neighborhood! This is my go-to grocery outlet when I'm nearby. The store is large and clean. The aisles are also wide. I always make sure to view their wine selection as you never know what you'll find that differs from other grocery outlets. The cheeses are the same. Have found interesting items in frozen foods to try. I've never had a problem here. The customer service is ok. My interaction has only been at the checkout counter. Never a lot of people and sometimes I have to wait in line for awhile, but that is okay. I make sure to never be in a rush. Will be coming here again. read more

First time in a grocery outlet. My first thought is, this place is disorganized. It was hard to find anything. Even when I asked a worker to help me find something, he looked really lost as well and couldn't find it or even know where to start. Expired food. The store is dirty. Food does not look fresh and it's not. I have seen strawberries and fruit molded still out for sale. I have been over charged 4x. And who knows how many more. When I have gone back they are very rude and act like it's your fault their prices aren't changed in their system. I had a TERRIBLE customer service experience with the OWNER Terry (it took several requests to get him to give me his name, he said I didn't need to know who owned the store) when I brought the above concerns to him he said and I quote "If you don't like it then don't come back!" Been coming to this store for over 7 years they have great deals just be sure to check the dates, I've also noticed if it's a new product or something "good" there's never a price tag by it, I feel it's click bait to buy something expensive without knowing the price due to name brand etc. or they will have the wrong tag price in the wrong location, you won't notice until check out that it's much more. There's a few new faces, the young men that I've been seeing are great workers. Really good customer service don't know their names but they work during day time. I happened to be in the area for work and my co-worker said that we should check it out. The place is very large, well organized, very friendly staff and the prices....well, the prices are amazing. I paid $36 and saved $40 dollars on my bill. Nabisco cookies $1.49 Rum cake small $1.49 Olay cleanser 99c 100 calories snacks $1.49 German jelly 1.5lb $2.49 They have wine as well and great selection of cheeses. The prices here are absolutely amaaaaaaaaazzzziinnng!. I don't know why I don't come here more often. I actually only went in because the line at FoodMaxx was ridiculously long (as always) and I just wanted to buy a single item just to get some change. (I needed a few quarters to get air pumped in my tires) When I walked in I immediately just picked up some random power rangers mask I found for $2, but then I saw the prices of the cheeses from a distance and just couldn't believe it. The prices were too good. I got a normally $5 block of goat cheese for 98 cents, a $7 block of Gouda for $2.50, an $6 Italian Dry Salame for $2, and the same for a summer sausage. I even checked the expiration dates on all of them because I couldnt believe something was that cheap without it about to expire.. they dates were all good on them. Ill have to remind myself to come down here more often. Its a very small grocery store, but they got a little bit of everything, and the prices are worth taking a look at the place. read more

This is my first time in this grocery outlet, and I'm already disappointed. Customer service was awful from the manager on duty on 8/24 @11am I had to make a return, I was walking to a cashier who was standing behind the register not doing anything, asked her if she was open and she said no with an attitude. First off, if your not open, you should probably get from behind the register. So I proceeded to another cashier and he told me that I needed to talk to a manager. The manager was the first cashier I had spoken to. Needless to say they wouldn't take my return since it's from another store. This manager needs a crash course in customer service and learn to speak to people with a nicer tone. It changes the whole experience. Guess she must not really care. read more

I've been going to this store for years since it first opened and I love shopping here for organic products etc. Had no problems at all not til this day that I went there roughly around 10:30 am. I have a coupon for 3$off 30 dollar purchase, my total was 30 and some change, the lady cashier said she can't take it coz the tax is included with the total. Tax is only 28 cents and she can't afford to take my coupon. I'm like ok! I never ever had issues with that before. It's just frustrating that this lady cashier lacks kindness and didn't even recommend me to add anything so I can avail of the coupon. Friendly cashiers, decent prices, but they need to work on the customer service, efficiency, and training. For example, when I went mid-day there was only one check stand open. Once a second stand was opened, I waited behind another person for about 5+ minutes only to be told that the cashier didn't have any money in his til. After switching to another cashier (who was going to lunch), she said she was closed but then re-opened to allow my purchases. At no time did anyone call for a manager to bring more cash to restock the bank properly. I can only wonder if the whole snafu was repeated minutes later when another customer needed cash back. I have patronized this store three times looking for good prices on chicken breasts for my dog, which they have. Every time I have gone in there is a sign on the door that masks are required to get in the store. But every time (3 varying times) Gina B, a manager, has been on the register with her mask exposing her nose and barely around her mouth - very loose because she is not wearing it right. I have said something each time. One time she answered by calling out, "I have it on my mouth." Of course, that means she might as well not wear it at all since all her particles are coming out of her nose every time she breathes. She contacts people all the time she's there, breathes on them and breathes in their germs. It's amazing she has not gotten COVID yet. This last time, she came up to the register I was on to clean up a mess from the previous customer. She was standing right next to me with her mask off and I told her about the three times I was there and the fact that she was never wearing her mask properly. She looked down and would not make eye contact with me when I demanded she put her mask on. She refused. Then I told her to move away from me because not only did she not have her mask on, she was standing right next to me, not six feet away. She clearly has no understanding of what this terrible disease that can kill people entails. Either that, or she could care less about herself and her customers. And the rules. There's that. What I have learned is that the Grocery Outlets are owned privately. I will be calling the owners and the corporate office about this and whatever public health organizations I can, though I doubt anyone will do anything about this. She should be fired. She adamantly refuses to follow the rules and she is putting everyone around her in danger. I want to be able to patronize this store without coming into contact with her, secure in the knowledge that everyone there is safely following the rules. read more

I have shopped here before many times and never had issues or problems. However, today one of the employees asked me to leave my backpack at the front counter. I asked why and she said it was store policy. I then asked if women are asked to leave their purses up front and she said no because they are small, but yes if they are large. I kindly refused to leave my bag in the care of strangers, so she asked me to leave the store. I proceeded to put back all my items and exited the store... I could not help but notice the abundance of women walking around enjoying their shopping experience with large purses and hand bags. None of which were asked to leave them up front nor were they asked to leave the store. Doubt I'll be back. read more

Often shop here for good deals on products that would be expensive otherwise. They have an awesome selection of beer and wine which is always around cheaper than other stores. The food products vary as to what is in stock. Good selection of organic products and protein supplements as well. The only downside is you have to look at the dates on the products. Sometimes you will find the product on the shelf is expired already or will expire within next few days. This has been getting better though I have noticed as it seems more products are being stocked with expiration dates further out. Customer service is great most of the time and I will continue shop here in the future. read more

AMAZING SERVICE! I work for a large company in Fairfield, and we are giving away turkeys this year for Thanksgiving. We bought 30 turkeys from Grocery Outlet. Not only did the manager throw in a few extra turkeys for us, but he also discounted the price as much as he could AND gave us the largest turkeys he had (we paid per turkey instead of per lb). I love this place, but one of the managers don't know how to manageu, or how customer service works. Some of the cashiers aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, if you know what I mean. About a month ago, they had 1lb blocks of butter on sale for 2/$5. I picked up two. By the time I got to the register, the cashier told me it was no longer on sale and that they had just removed the sign. I told her, perhaps they need to take off the sign prior to the afternoon if the sale was over. She kept insisting that she couldn't give it to me since the sign was no longer posted since the dairy guy taken it off. Any how, the nice younger manager said to go ahead and give it to me. Tonight, I went in there and bought 4 sausages. 2/$4. They rang up $2.98. The cashier was nice and just doing her job. I get it. I've been in the grocery business for 15 years. What your manager says, goes. She tried taking off all four, but failed, so she tried to explain it to the manager. I believe his name is Ray. He would not let her finish what she was saying and kept interrupting, like he hated his job. When he first walked up, the cashier told him they were not ringing up right, he stated its probably for all of that brand sausage. But as he was walking away he told her it's probably just the one pictured. I disagreed and said it was for both. So he shouted that he would bring the sign up to me so he could prove me wrong. A minute or two later he came back and said I was right. No apology or anything. For being a manager, you sure are a jerk! Perhaps instead of assuming all customers are wrong at first, you should just try listening to them and then price check and either prove them wrong or apologize for it ringing up the wrong price. I believe he should be retrained in management 101. Be sure to check prices in the screen while being checked out. That goes for any store, not just Grocery Outlet. read more

I love this place not only for their good deals but all their staff are friendly. Never have I went there and had an employee be rude. I must say that Cindy is the absolute best though. No where else can you buy better and more products than you can at this "grocery" store. $7.99 never bought you more Mexican beer in a can in America. Not even mentioning the service. These employees are the bomb. They are not only friendly, but cool. Most of the time I come here for the rare alcohol for discount price. Like this one time I found Kirin Ichiban for $14.99 for a 24 Pack. I digress. There is some good deals here if you come on the right day. I just got 8 slices of Munster cheese for $2 bucks today. I really don't know where you can find that cheaper. The employees are a fun bunch of people. If you ask them to look for a product you thought was there a week ago that you can't find, they will still look for it. I've only been a handful of times and I just didn't care for the selection of food they had and they literally only had one register open when I went. And truthfully I don't feel they are that much cheaper thank other stores. I think Walmart has cheaper prices. I don't care for the area, but parking is good. This is a great place to find discounted food the only issue here is that you have to keep in mind that this place is an outlet. I have been shopping at this store since it opened many years ago, the quantity and quality have declined. use to spend 250 a month, now its 5 dollars a month. the store is dirty, expired canned goods. My complaint is something all together..The owners are Jewish, the employees are Jewish, one of them started an argument with me , said'so you don't like Jews?' I replied no, I do not. Asked him for his name, he took off his name badge and left quickly. 2 months later, (today) I entered the store, and was rudely and abruptly asked to leave. The manager and the employee refused to give me their name. I am contacting the ACLU and the Jewish anti defamation league, and My attorneys. I am not an anti-semite, just a guy shopping.
