Service- we walked in and sat down. The bartender noticed us when we came in and one of the waitresses noticed us sitting there but it took awhile before anyone came over. The gentleman finally made his way over took our order, then brought it over to us, took our payment but that was about it. Food - house salad was fresh and stacked with goodies. The pizza was so flavorful. Love the crust and it was topped with lots of the topping. It wasn't on the greasy side either which I enjoy. Ambiance - they have big screens everywhere so it was nice to relax and catch up on some sports with good food.

We went to Homerun Pizza early on a Friday night. I have never been there and it is small. cozy restaurant. We were in a party of four. We found a table and were immediately greeted by a young man and given our menus. We started off with a bottle of wine and a salad. The salad was your standard restaurant salad and was good. We also ordered the potato skins and they were really good. We ordered a half combo and the other half a pepperoni with olives. The pizza was really hot, right out of the oven. It was great, with just the right amount of bite and flavor. The owner came to our table several times, was very involved in the restaurant and spoke to all the guests. The server was also great, and all the employees made the experience a memorable one. I will be back for the pizza and the great experience we had there.

We love this local neighborhood bespoke pizza resturant and sports-themed bar. Warm family friendly service and great vibe. Pizza are tasty and generous with their toppings too. Everyone should try their special "knuckelballs", either cheese & bacon or pepperoni. Highly recommended!

So once a year for two weeks,Russian River Brewing becomes the beer mecca on the planet-for two…read moreweeks they release their triple IPA Pliny The Younger. People come from from all over the planet to fly in for a chance to be able to taste this amazing brew each year and this year,I decided to join them and go out to try and get my hands on Pliny The Younger. The release this year was from March 20th 2026 to April 2nd 2026. So 1st thing we had to do was decide which location we wanted to go to-They have a downtown Santa Rosa location and a much bigger location located in Windsor. I decided to go to Windsor because I was told the parking lot was much bigger and the dining area has a larger capacity-not sure if that's true but was good enough for me. We left Sacramento a bit after 6am and we arrived in Windsor around 830am. When we arrived, there was already a line of probably around 75-100 people. So we just grabbed our spot in line and we waited until they opened up the dining area at 11am-Hoping to get seated in the first wave. We were told before we went out there that if we were lucky the wait would be from 2-3 hours and if we were unlucky it could be up to 6 hours. Well I can really explain it but the somehow the time flew by-not sure if it was the people we were in line with, who were all in the best of moods or if it was just the anticipation of doing something really fun. They were true pros the way they had the line setup-totally organized and they even have heat-lamps out there to keep everyone warm, while we waited. Well today was our lucky day because my buddy and I got seated in the first wave. The dining area was really big with so many table options, multiple rooms for seating available and they even had a bar area and an area where you could sit around a fireplace-like area. The wait staff was really awesome at this restaurant-each person working was even nicer than the next. How it works during Younger release event is like this. -They give you a wristband with 3 numbered pull tabs on it that allows each customer to get 3 pours and then at the end of their meal we are allowed to buy 3 bottles of the highly coveted release Pliny The Younger. The price point for these beers were $6.75 for each pour and around $13.00 for each take home bottle. While I was there I also had a taste of Blind Pig and Tempo Change-those were like $1.25 each for a tasting of those two beers. One thing I didn't quite have a scope of before going to this event in person was the high quality of food offered at Russian River Brewing. I made a double mistake of eating while I was in line and also making plans to eat at another place after this event. So I missed out on really diving into their pretty impressive offerings of food.I will for sure be doing that on my next visit-they had darn near everything you would expect a brewery to offer and it all looked so delicious. Well let's talk about why I was here-Pliny The Younger. I am 100% an IPA fan-it's always my beer of choice-So Pliny the Younger being a Triple IPA-I knew I was going to enjoy it.This beer historically is rated near 100 every year and this years release didn't disappoint. It was the smoothest triple I've ever had the pleasure of drinking and I've had more than a few in my day. This was the best Triple IPA I've ever had. Final thought-Was the experience worth it and would I do it again? Yes & Yes-my only regret is that I didn't do this many years ago when I first heard about it.I do plan on making this an annual pilgrimage.

However I ordered their Pliny fries which had a pool of oil the bottom of the bowl. I wasn't a fan of the flavor combo and the pickled jalapeños lacked flavor. I feel like pepperoncinis would have been a better fit for this dish. My friend got the burger and fries and said the burger was good and flavorful but that the fries were also very oily and lacked flavor. I appreciated that they saw us at the indoor bar with our pup. I'll definitely come back for the beer and try and give some of their other dishes a go.

I sat at the bar and was served by the owner of the Pub, who is from the UK. I loved chatting with him about the pub and all the fun things that go on there. I happened to come in on Trivia Night, which gets a decent crowd! For dinner, I ordered the Braised Beef Guinness pie and a Guinness to go with it. The pie comes out steaming hot with a nice layer of browned mashed potatoes on top. There is real crust to this kind of pie. Underneath the mashed potatoes is more like beef stew. Large chunks of tender beef and vegetables are sitting in a delicious Guinness stew. On the side, a fresh salad to go with it. My wife and I had just visited Abbey Tavern this past weekend, a premier Scottish pub in the City, and we expected a similar atmosphere. However, the moment we showed up, we were met with great disappointment. The Goose & Fern is honestly a terrible place to watch a sports match: there was only a single TV mounted in the back corner of the restaurant, the TV wasn't particularly large, and the speakers had been turned completely off. What a bust. Although the food was decent, especially the Shepherd's pie -- which came piping hot in a small cast iron skillet, the service was downright dreadful and almost non-existent. We never received waters (or were even asked if we wanted beverages), our table wasn't given enough silverware, we were never checked on during the meal, and we were waiting around for 30 minutes twiddling our thumbs before somebody from our party finally went up to try to pay for the check. In hindsight, a tip was not warranted for the lack of service. Overall, Yelp grossly misled me on The Goose & Fern. This is not a spot I would stop by again to watch a sporting match. If you're in this part of Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and head over to Dave and Busters down the street where they have a bunch of massive screens, tons of beer options, and service that will far surpass what you're getting here.

The Charlie's Candy Shop escape room was created with AI, and we genuinely felt that was a mistake. This wasn't our first escape room, but we were completely lost. So many of the instructions were confusing and didn't make any sense. All the clues were super vague. One of the instructions was incorrect ( that's why we couldn't complete the task ), and our room host told us about it after our time had ended. We also got the exact same hint twice, from the button and the paper. Overall, the room felt cheaply made, and some of the components were broken. The host also told us that the percentage of people/groups completing the room without hints from the host is zero, which, in our opinion, is odd. So I guess the room is too hard, but mostly because not much of it makes sense. We think, the clues should be more helpful and clearer than what we experienced in Charlie's Candy Shop escape room. We still have hopes for the Finding Bigfoot escape room ( assuming it wasn't created with AI ). P.S. Our host was nice and friendly. He even let us glance at the soon-to-be-open Finding Bigfoot escape room, which we really appreciated. +1 star for the host.
