Okay, I still love Sandy's so much but after now having been here like 10 times lol, I have one complaint: the toppings are not consistent. The pizzas can feel pretty different from visit to visit depending on which staff member is making them. Case in point: if you look at the pictures I've uploaded, I got the spinach fresco twice. Once it barely had any spinach and was more like the chicken bacon ranch (with a drizzle of spinach and onions lol) and the other time, it was coated in spinach. I've had this inconsistency a few times with various flavors so I hope it's something management can correct. The pizza is still amazing, don't get me wrong! But consistency needs improvement. ALSO - the online menu is not the same as what's in person. Etc! Spinach fresco online says it comes on wheat, the chicken bacon ranch doesn't even exist online...So confusing. read more

Sadly the pizza has taken a turn for the worse. I made the mistake of convincing my friend who was hosting Monday Night Football to order two large pizzas yesterday and they were sub standard. $70 for two large pizzas and they were indeed large; two mediums would have been plenty for three people. The taste of the dough has changed and the thickness of the crust has ballooned which is odd as that simply drives up food cost. The pizza was doughy as a result and while the Canadian bacon, garlic and basil one had lots of toppings the sausage and roasted bell peppers and onions was very vary sparse. The pizza sauce has also changed and is more akin to ketchup than to savory tomato based sauce with detectable Italian seasonings. Sadly, in retrospect, we should have saved a lot of money and picked up take and bake pizzas from Safeway. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with Sandy's. We ordered a large Sandy's combo, no olives baked at the restaurant. At first glance, I thought the toppings would be overwhelming however they complemented each other well. All of the ingredients were fresh and very generous. The crust was thin and just the right amount of crispy. Texturally interesting and loved that the toppings went all the way to the ends so there was no pizza bones in sight! Service wise, also impressed with how nice they are. I placed my order over the phone and the person was kind enough to tell me that they were a little busy and it would take a little longer. We are still loving this place! I love the family owned business vibe - candidly it reminds me of my first job (a pizza spot in RP) maybe that makes an extra soft spot in my heart but either way we love it. The quality is delicious, the pizza combinations are delicious, and price is well worth what you get. For a buck or two they'll even bake it for you which is great if you don't want to heat it at home. I love that it can be a one stop shop - pizza, breadsticks, salad, drinks, candy, etc. Definitely one of my top pizza spots in Santa Rosa for the friendly service and delicious pizza. I'm not sure if it changed ownership but they do happy hour now and have a game room to the left when you go inside for pickup or orders. read more

Definitely my go to pizza place in Santa Rosa. They are super friendly staff and the place is perfect spot to pick up or even dine in on a nice day. Still the same Mom&Pop place to grab a pizza and drink! The service is friendly and the owners are wonderful people. Also, my husband loves the $4 beers and our kids love the Pokémon cards! I just had the best pizza experience here and wanted to share my appreciation. I placed an online order around 12:30, and shortly after, I called to see if they could make it sooner than 2pm. The woman on the phone said she was making it right then and would be ready in a few minutes. And I walked in, it was very clean, a kid was checking out Pokémon cards, and a beautifully made pizza was all ready for me to take and bake. Love the concept but this pizza is possibly some of if not the worst I've had in my life. Popped in after being in the grocery store and got a couple slices to go. Have loved the pizza's over the years but sad to say agree with Joe C's review dated Sept 27. Way to much partying in the back while a pizza I was waiting for in the front was sitting fully baked in their heater. Unfortunately it was also burnt on the bottom. Usually get the Sandy's combo and this time the wonderful toppings were scarce and very unevenly distributed. Time before that we asked for no cheese on a gluten free and it sadly came baked with cheese. I know, should have checked it in the store. Disappointing to see whats happening. Sandy's had been the go to place when the kids were growing up and for some reason once the team sports stopped, so did our trips to Sandy's. What was I thinking?!? Not only is it a local gem, everything is fresh, the ranch is PERFECT and I've yet to have a pie that wasn't awesome. Just recently I brought home a pie to bake at home and it literally had 4 inches of Toppings!! No joke. I figured I was getting my monies worth but how soggy was the crust going to be? I will say I enjoy the food but the child like antics from the staff of young kids working and the entitlement of feeling they should be get a tip is beyond rude and disrespectful. If consumer feels they want to tip they will. Calling there at times and the rude behavior is beyond acceptable. I was not going to even do this review but I was tired of there staff acting the way they act and will never eat there again and hope you will do the same. read more

Loved this p nice for many years. We have always ordered pizza there and been happy. Yesterday I ordered our usual half-and-half, combo and Hawaiian and ended up with all combo. Only one person likes that so it's very distressing and I didn't have time to go back and get another pizza, so I'm just upset I must say and just amazed that this great business has done this bad thing. They never did before so I will probably still continue to use it unless they do this again. They recently also started charging for ranch dressing a six dollars for a very tiny bottle which is ridiculous. When you buy a salad dressing comes with it. Terrible business model. We ordered half Hawaiian and half combo no sausage with extra onions. The person who took our order was rude, condescending and disrespectful to my wife. We called them after arriving home and the lady would not make the order right and she proceeded to tell me that my wife ordered wrong which is not true. She also tried to tell me that they close at 8:30pm but the doors were locked at 7pm... I know this because I said in the car watching the whole thing go down. She was snobbish and rude to my wife. This is the 2nd or 3rd time that Sandy's has gotten our orders wrong. I mean... how the heck does one get a salad ordered wrong?? We asked that they fixed the order and her attitude was " what do you want me to do about it? Crappy service then we find out that John sold the business back in February. John... pls come back to Sandy's Pizza. Biggest mistake you made was selling it to Kenny B and Ali. There customer's service sucks and leaves a lot to be desired. In fact, it's sucks!!!!!
