So happy I went to eat at the Food Trucks at Narbonne High in Harbor City. With so many options i felt it was a crapshoot but decided on HomeRun Sliders and so happy I did. Sliders are mini burgers but these are full of big bites of flavor! The Sliders are names after famous baseball players ... First up to bat was THE ROGER MARIS, A Mediterranean inspired LAMB SLIDER ... It was light & fresh but these savory flavored stayed with me ! This was an out of the park Home Run ! Next up to the plate was JACKIE ROBINSON .. A Memphis styled pulled pork topped with their Maple Bacon Bourbon sauce all topped with slaw ! Omg !! The pork was perfect but with that sauce they've hit another HOME RUN ! 3rd up was The DiMaggio ... A meatball slider ... And JOE didn't disappoint ! Tasted like an Italian mothers meatballs topped with fresh Parmesan cheese ! Hitting clean-up and 4th to bat is their signature HOME RUN Slider ... Crispy bacon & caramelized onions ... Yes another HomeRun !! I also shared an order of their MBB FENWAY PARK Fries ... Their Maple Bacon Bourbon sauce & pulled pork on the perfect & crisp fries ! This could be a stand alone meal ... The prices are more than reasonable ! The mother and daughter team are fun & I could see a reality show based on them ! I already found @HOMERUN_SLIDERS on Twitter & I will be tracking them down often ! Let's go out to the HomeRun Sliders Truck !

The line to Homerun Sliders at the Sunset Music Festival

A couple of friends and I went to the sunset music festival, held at the queen mary, where we stumbled across "Homerun Sliders". So we go to the window and we're greeted. We both place our orders at a first window and waited for them at the next one. I remember I ordered a Home Run Slider, and a Jackie Robinson with a side of garlic truffle fries. I remember taking a bite of the Homerun Slider and thinking "Wow! This is really good!" the meat was juicy and the garlic aoeli made the slider! After eating the first one I couldn't wait to try the second one. The pulled pork on the second slider was so tender and the maple bacon bourbon sauce they used alongside coleslaw was delivious. After all that, I tried my garlic truffle fries and at first I thought maybe it'd be too garlicy, but it was the right amount. I highly, highly recommend this food truck to all you event planners out there. They have great food, and people know it too.

    Best sliders in the city!

I'm huge on pulled pork sandwiches/sliders and the "Jackie Robinson" was one of the best I've ever had.

Hard to find a place doing it this good. This is my 8th LA smash burger and it's definitely a top three contender! The ratios were on point. The lemon pepper fries were killer. The bulgogi fries were strangely good for no one appearing to be Korean who worked there. Big fresh jalapeños on top with the perfect amount of sauce. GREAT home made pickles on the burger to offset the rich patty and cheese. The service was TOP tier. Took a little longer than most, but tasted better than most! So pick your poison! Great outdoor seating in a bar next door with its own brewery. They have a deal going so you can use that place. Sat in a cool outdoor patio area with fake grass and a nice fence. Nice shade. Cool Glendale vibes.

Customizations were no problem at all, and the turnaround time from ordering to pickup was exactly as promised. Their vegan options are full of flavor and definitely not an afterthought. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful -- especially for an indecisive person like me -- pointing out what's popular, what they personally like, and what they recommend. I chose to go the "build your own" route and landed on: 1. Base: Chili Garlic 2. Noodles: Yakisoba 3. Protein: Fire-grilled chicken 4. Toppings: Carrots, cabbage, red peppers, sesame seeds, crunchy chili garlic The portions are solid -- I easily got two meals out of one bowl. Since I like spice, they gave me a side of their spicy sauce, which added both sweetness and heat. With all the sauce, it was definitely a bit messy, but the flavor was bold and the kick was real. The noodles and chicken were cooked well, though next time I might choose something a little less intense so I can better appreciate all the ingredients. With that much heat and garlic, some of the other flavors got lost. All in all, lunch for about $25 on Abbot Kinney is a great deal, and I'll definitely be back to try more combinations!

The food was made fresh so served hot and the taste was delicious. HOWEVER. I did takeout and didn't look at the container until I opened it to eat. Major disappointment and concern as their thin plastic containers are most likely not heat resistant, which means chemicals leach into food. Cool concept as a store offering only noodle dishes but PLEASE change your serving and takeout containers!!

However, there was street residential parking, which was what I did! Got there a little past 9am and there was already 20-30 ahead of me! Really enjoyed how organized the event was and everyone was very friendly! Was it worth the 2 hour wait? Hell yeah! I met Roy Choi & Karen Cheung (daughter of Sam Woo's founder!) There was even Kogi x Sam Woo merch sold! (T-shirt - $35 & hat - $25) The Roast Duck Kimchi Taco ($24) came with 3 tacos with roasted duck, grilled kimchi, Kogi sauce, and sesame seeds..the roast duck was marinated very well and the skin was so crispy! Didn't taste much of the kimchi but the Kogi sauce was sweet and packed with delicious flavor! Char Siu Blackjack Quesadilla ($24) consisted of cha siu pork with cilantro onion lime relish and cheese. The quesadilla was so cheesy and the cha siu was packed with flavor. It was roasted to perfection and tasted so amazing! Overall, I really enjoyed the food and the Collab even though it was slightly pricey.
