    Blue moon mulita
    Donna S.

Ok, I had high hopes for Kogi but I was disappointed. Staff is great and they work as fast as they can. My disappointment comes from the food itself. I ordered the spicy pork taco, the short rib taco (of course), and the blue moon mulita. Hated the tacos, especially the short rib taco. The meat has very little flavor, and the toppings add nothing. The blue moon mulita was MUCH better in my opinion. The purple sauce they out on top is super unique and adds a cool tangy flavor to the chicken and cheese.

Pricey but omg so good. That green sauce, idk what they put in it but citrus and tangy but so savory. Ton of meat and the quesadilla is one fill of flavor definitely would 10/10 try again. I've always heard of the kogi truck and now that I've finally had it, wow I was impressed. Worth the hype. At least try it once! You won't be disappointed. Great taste and flavors and definitely unique. I've never had Anything similar before.

How these guys, and cater I work event. We had a limited menu but got to try a little bit of everything. I tried the beef short rib taco, the slider, and the kimchi quesadilla. At first I was really looking forward to the kimchi quesadilla, and not really looking forward to the short rib taco because of the weird green coleslaw that they put on top that smells like sesame seed oil. And then after trying all three I completely change my mind. It turns out that the short rib taco was pretty good and even though it smelled like sesame seed oil it didn't taste like it. I don't think the quality of the meet is very good for the marinade of the meet was very good but the combine flavor and texture was on point. What it was like it was that really good roasted chipotle spicy salsa that I get at my favorite taco truck. The kimchi quesadilla was absolutely horrible. I've come to the conclusion that kimchi should never be cooked. And it should never be combined with anything that has cheese in it. I'll top of that they put the sauce on it that looks like a pretty good gokujing sauce but is it more like salty MSG. And then finally there's the slider. Which is the same ingredients as the taco but wrapped in a really dance later but instead of taco shell. Which if it's supposed to be Korean I would expect it a Hawaiian roll and not a dense Bun that is more fitting for a pulled pork slider that it is short ribs slider. Made it to heavy and gummy and less light and flavorful and juicy.

Pacman burger $8, mix of 3 meats, cabbage, salsa

Hey it is pretty good! Got the Pacman Burger (mix of 3 meats, cabbage and salsa), $8. You may think it won't fill you up, but they put a lot of meat in it. Pretty tasty. The bun was toasted so it was warm and nice the whole time I was eating the burger. I want to try all their items!! Look so unique.

Love it! Love it! Love it! Got to try their tacos during my visit to L.A and hands down on short rib taco!! Short rib burrito was excellent too. Hope they open the branch in LAX ASAP so we can try once more before leaving L.A when we revisit.

As a Korean, I can tell you this is the real deal--it's so freaking delicious and exactly the type of food I grew up with. A few things to know before you order: No Storefront: This is a catering-only business, so there is no physical restaurant to visit. You just call them to place your order. The Right Number: Make sure you call the correct number! Their main lines are (323) 466-3737 or (323) 799-7909. Customizable Menus: While they have menu photos online that act as a guide, you can pick and choose exactly what you want. We ordered the Kalbi Jjim, various veggies, pancakes, and kimchi, and every single dish was a hit. Massive Portions: They are incredibly generous! We ordered for 10 people, but they gave us enough food to feed 40. You definitely get your money's worth. Easy Pickup: The process is super smooth. You just pull up to the street on Beverly Blvd, and they will load everything directly into your car for you. Pro Tip: Ask about getting a discount ;) Also when you arrive to pick up, give them a 15 minute window to assemble your order. They have a delivery option too. I will definitely be using them again for my next event!

This review is long overdue! We had Hungry Bear cater our wedding this year and they absolutely…read morecrushed it!! We had so many guests come up to us during and after the wedding (even months later) saying the food was the best they've ever had at a wedding. Everything from the passed apps to the mains, desserts, and late night food was amazing. Food is a huge priority for us, and we wanted to make damn sure that our wedding food delivered, especially since so many of our friends and family know us as major foodies. We loved Hungry Bear's asian-fusion menu and even the salad was unreal (and I'm not a salad girl...get the Little Gem Salad y'all - it's both beautiful and delicious). We had opted for family style and had hangar steak and miso black cod for the mains (but seriously, you cannot go wrong with any of their choices) and a late night pho station. I'm salivating just reminiscing about the food. The drinks were just as good (feel free to reach out to the team with your favorite flavors/ spirit to brainstorm drink ideas or even give them a specific recipe). I opted for a yuzu gin cocktail as my signature drink, which was delightfully refreshing and very well made. On top of that, the service was next-level. The waiters and bartenders were all very kind, funny, and professional. The team made sure my husband and I were constantly taken care of--full water glasses, plates of food, cocktails, everything. One of my best friend has celiac disease, and a staff member came up and told her she was personally "in charge of her" for the night. She was blown away. I was blown away -- especially since we had our wedding at a "bring your everything" venue where everything was brought in to build a "kitchen" - Hungry Bear made sure that food safety/ cross-contamination was a non-issue. Amazing food, amazing drinks, and genuinely kind, fun, and professional servers and bartenders. Jennie, TJ, and the Hungry Bear team truly go above and beyond. We're already asking ourselves when we can have Hungry Bear cater our next event. Look no further and book your tasting today (trust me, and good luck narrowing down the tasting selections)! Highly, highly recommend.

Their menu has so many options to choose from, which I loved. We went with 6 tray-passed appetizers and honestly, every single one was delicious. I'll definitely be using them again for future events. Can't recommend Hungry Bear enough!

We wanted to go with the bossam (pics look so good) but our event was held after lunchtime/light bites so we opted for the taco bar, which was also amazing. Other items ordered that I didn't get good photos of (all was v delicious): - Yuzu tomato salad (so refreshing, wish I could make this at home) - Gochujang glazed veggies - Elote - Japchae P.S. I'm just remembering how wonderful the tacos were, especially the tortilla. Corn and soft, this is NOT your typical grocery store purchase. I think they source it from a legit Latina market. That's what I mean by authenticity. For all our dishes, they got both Korean and Mexican cuisines right. Chubby Fingers brings the real deal.

OMG... as I'm writing this, I'm still craving the food we had that day from Chubby Fingers! After doing multiple tastings with other caterers, we chose them for their generous portions and amazing value at a very competitive price point. Why we chose them: Before choosing them, we actually met with several other caterers and even did tastings to compare our options. What really stood out about Chubby Fingers was how generous and abundant their offerings were at a very similar price point. The value honestly surprised us in the best way. The Experience (Catering Drop-off): We ended up doing a catering drop-off, and even with that setup, you could truly feel the care and thought they put into everything. The presentation was beautiful and everything was packed so nicely -- it still felt very special and intentional. The Food (The highlight of our day!): On the day of the event, the food completely exceeded our expectations. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Our guests kept complimenting the food throughout the event, and several people even came up to ask where we found the caterer because they wanted the information for their own events. Our Menu Highlights: 1. Chubs Bossam: Slow-roasted caramelized pork shoulder with ssam bar (perilla leaves, lettuce, and samjang). Absolute hit! 2. Japchae: Korean sweet potato glass noodles with mushrooms and vegetables. 3. Gochujang Glazed Veggies: Roasted market vegetables with a subtle, delicious gochujang glaze. 4.Yuzu Tomato Salad: Heirloom tomatoes with greens and a refreshing yuzu vinaigrette (so fresh!). and the White Rice was included! The team was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our day special. I'm so sad I didn't take more photos, I was so busy hosting and enjoying the event, but the presentation in person looked even better than the photos!) If you're planning an event, do yourself a favor and book Chubby Fingers--you won't regret it! I truly can't recommend them enough if you want to impress your guests!
