We had a renegade dryer vent run about 35' long. I had to filter thru a bunch of scams to find these guys. They were friendly on the phone, prompt and clear about pricing. The tech was on time, friendly, and fixed an issue that was more difficult than he expected. He also was honest regarding our need for another service (we didn't) - which pretty much guarantees we will use them when we do. I have used HomeSmart Cleaning Specialties once before for carpet cleaning, which turned out remarkable! This past week I hired them again this time to clean out my air ducts. The CSR quoted me a fair price over the phone (compared to other places I called) and was able to schedule me in right away. The technician Cody phoned in 30 minutes prior to arrival and showed up within the arrival window. Very courteous. He went above & beyond thoroughly cleaned and even sanitized the air ducts. It took him about 2 1/2 hours, and he didn't leave without making sure all surrounding areas were vacuumed and put back in place. Update: Home Smart did indeed finally respond and schedule a rework. However the day and time arrived and no one showed up. Twenty minutes after the appointed time, I called the office and the woman who answered couldn't find my appointment on her schedule. She said she would check directly with the cleaning crew and call me back. She didn't. Thirty minutes later, however, someone arrived. He was very apologetic and said he was delayed by a previous project. I told him he should have called me. I'm pleased to say that the stubborn stains did not reappear after he retreated them. I also think the owner went above and beyond to try to offer an explanation as to why his office repeatedly did not contact me. For whatever reason, the experience was riddled with non-communication and I probably won't use them again. read more

I have been using this carpet cleaning for years. I called yesterday to set up a cleaning. A young man answer the phone. I explain to him that I didn't care for the last technicians that came out. And I wanted my original technician. He no longer works there which I totally understand. However when they last came out they left spots everywhere on my carpet. They've never clean with the type of cleaner that they use when they came out. So I asked for the type of cleaner that they've used every year before. He wanted to charge me $20 extra per each room. My room is pretty small to begin with they charge me extra just for coming to Manteca. Since covid I wouldn't recommend them. They charged me for a hallway last time I didn't want done at all. Spiro gave me an itemized quote to work with and I decided to go with the full list. The guys were on time on the scheduled day and the whole house was done in 5-6 hours. Spiro even stopped by toward the end to check on the progress. The quartz counters were spotless and shiny with new caulk in the seams. We went on Yelp to try and find a good carpet cleaner. We really have been disappointed with our carpet. We thought we had done our homework and selected the best possible carpet for the money we were willing to spend. We bought and had the carpet installed by a local reputable carpet dealer. We also asked the dealer for a recommendation on a carpet cleaner. They recommended the carpet cleaner they used for the carpet displays in there store. That sounded good to us and so that is who we initially selected for our carpet cleaning. The results were less than satisfying. After awhile we switched back to who we had used with our previous carpets. Although the results were a little better we were still not totally pleased. As time passed by we were becoming even more unhappy with our carpet and in desperation turned to Yelp for one last try to salvage what appeared to be a bad carpet buying decision. Based upon Yelp reviews we selected HomeSmart Cleaning to come and do our carpets. They gave us an estimate on the phone and we arranged the appointment time. David showed up well within the two hour window and surveyed the house and told me the actual cost we be slightly less based upon his in house inspection. That's a good start, but it would not mean much if the carpet cleaning was not up to par. Well it turns out that he did an outstanding job! The carpets were absolutely clean. He removed spots that the other cleaners we had tried were unable to clean. My wife was especially pleased with the job. David suggested the application of a carpet guard spray for the heavy traffic areas and we agreed to have this done. Even with the additional charge for the carpet guard the total bill was less than the original telephone estimate. David even provided me with some shoe coverlets so I could walk on the carpet before it completely dried. In summary, HomeSmart provided prompt, courteous, professional, excellent cleaning service and we will definitely be using them again and based upon our experience we can highly recommended them to others. read more

Totally impressed with this company from the first phone call into their office to the completion of the job. I informed owner that we had 3 dogs and they had a pee party while we were on vacation and left the dogs with the kids (bad mistake). Estimate on the phone was pretty accurate to final pricing; not bad considering I just gave them number of rooms to be cleaned. Technicians who came out were very professional and listened to my concerns. They were very considerate of my walls and tile as they used protective padding on the tile to eliminate any accidental slipping and wall guards to keep their hoses away from my walls. Finished in about 3.5 hours and I was so excited about having clean carpets and not seeing any more stains. Hopefully my dogs will not have any more pee parties on my carpet. Just purchased a home and based on the Yelp reviews, decided to have HomeSmart come out to clean our carpets. Very, very glad that we made this decision! Customer service was A+ all the way around. First, I called them on a Thursday, looking to get a quote, but highly doubtful that they'd have an opening in 2 days, which is the day we needed the carpets cleaned (moving in on the following Monday). Whoever I spoke to on the phone was super friendly and very helpful in giving me an approximate idea of the cost. And then, much to my surprise, she told me that they could fit us in on Saturday morning and that they'd arrive between 8 and 8:30. At 7:55 on Saturday morning, David called to let me know he'd be at the house in about 15 minutes. He came in, took a look at the house, told me how much it would be (which was even a bit lower than I'd been quoted earlier). He put booties on as soon as he came in the house and protected the corners and stair bannister with some kind of padding so hoses wouldn't touch. Four hours later, he was done. The carpets look fantastic! David was wonderful to deal with! No need to look anywhere else to have your carpets cleaned! I can definitely see why they get 5 star ratings across the board. Grant came to my house to give a personalized quote. I asked all the questions I had and he answered them thoroughly. I compared them to Coit and they were practically the same. I decided to go with Grant since I felt it would be as professional of a job done as possible. I'm glad I did because David and Brandon performed all the services the day of and really impressed my husband and me. They were professional and respectful of our home. I watched them perform a lot of services out of curiosity and they never made me feel uncomfortable for asking questions about what they were doing. I was especially curious about the air duct cleaning since I never had this done before. Regardless, my home is extremely clean. We have 2 dogs and a cat with lots of carpet stains. They are all gone now. I'm hoping a majority of the stains will stay away but some of these stains existed before we bought our home. I'm definitely most happy with getting our dryer vent vacuumed/cleaned because it was extremely clogged with lint. I'm generally not the type to leave reviews. But I could not be happier with my experience with HomeSmart, so I felt as if I should share my experience. I called on a Friday to get an idea of cost and potentially schedule an appointment to have my sofa cleaned. I have three kids under the age of six, a cat, and a dog-all with a light gray couch. They all of have left, crumbs, spilled water, juices, milk, food, fur, you name it, on the couch, and personally I have spilled coffee on it. Most of the cushions are in good shape as the covers are removable and machine washable. But the especially large ottoman and frame of the couch had seen better days. I had it cleaned about a year and a half ago by another carpet cleaning company I found on Yelp so I figured it was time for another one. I was provided a straight forward estimate over the phone, and was told an appointment was available as soon as the following morning. I booked the appointment. The next morning I received a phone call from Cody, saying he would be over shortly to clean my couch. He was punctual, polite, honest, and most importantly, did an excellent job. The couch is cleaner than it was a year and a half ago, and it was done for less than half of the cost of the other company. If you're on the fence about choosing someone to clean your carpets or furniture, HomeSmart is the way to go. Employee was ruid the chemicals smelled old and my house smelled worse than ever!
