The company I normally used cancelled on me then when he rescheduled contacted me via text about an hour before my appointment and tried to cancel again! Upset because my carpet needed to be cleaned and all my stuff was moved around with no one to come clean my carpet I called Home Smart and talked to Grant and was told they would have someone out within an hour to give me an estimate and clean my carpet! Update: Glad to say everything turned out well. The owner Grant took the time to contact me personally and go out of his way to fix this situation. He had his techs come out the next day to clean the carpets and my tenants said they did a great job. He even offered to comp the whole job at no charge, though I don't feel right about taking advantage of the situation, so I'm in the process of trying to give him at least some compensation for his and his team's effort. After seeing the way he resolved this situation and went above and beyond to gain back my business, I feel confidant going back to them again in the future. Dependability is a hard thing to find, and other than this one previous miscommunication, HomeSmart has always proven to be on top of their game. Thank you Grant. I will definitely be calling you guys again next year! I've been using Home Smart to clean the carpets in our rental property for the last 4 years. They've always been on time and done a great job. Unfortunately it didn't work out so well this year. I scheduled an appointment a week ahead of time because I had new tenants moving in. The appointment was scheduled for Friday between 10-12. They called me the night before to ask if it was ok if the tech arrived on the later end toward 12. I said it was fine as long as it wasn't any later than that. My rental property is 35 miles from my house so I have to drive all the way down there to meet them. I had some last bit of cleaning to do so I didn't mind. Well 12:30 rolls around and still no tech so I decide to give them a call. The lady in the office puts me on hold and contacts her tech. She comes back on and explains that he's still on another job and won't be able to make it out until 2:00. I've finished cleaning the house and I can't spend another hour and a half waiting around for them so I tell them to cancel the appointment. The office lady apologizes, but offers no further help. No offer to reschedule or provide a discount after wasting my time. I understand these things happen, but it's how you handle them and assist the customer when they do that really counts. In this case, the lack of communication and consideration really irritated me. So I've decided to go with another company from now on. It's a shame because Home Smart had been so reliable until now, which is why I'm giving them a couple stars. I had considered giving them a second chance, but I got the impression they didn't really care about my business, so I'll just have to give it to someone else. read more

They are nothing short of amazing, Lizzy scheduled me in and was able to then get me in sooner. Brian was my specialist, he and his crew did a wonderful job on the house. Called for an appointment and the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating with our schedule. She gave us a time when David would be at our home. He arrived exactly on time, introduced himself and started measuring the rooms. He explained exactly what services were available for cleaning our carpet. We decided on what service we wanted and he got right to work. We have been in our home for three years, the home has white carpet and we have two little ones. The carpets were very dirty. I have been using Home Smart for a couple of years now and I don't go anywhere else. The service is friendly, fast and the carpets always come out looking gorgeous! If I ever do have an issue, which only happened once, they came right back in and took care of it. They will even work extra hard on deeper or tougher stains to try and get them out. This company is amazing!! Every time I need an appointment they squeeze me in and I need that kind of flexibility with my schedule. Whatever they use to clean the carpets is awesome because everyone else that I have used makes my carpets crunchy and stink like industrial cleaner. Home Smart leaves my carpets plush and with the faintest citrus smell....that's important to me with young children spending a lot of time on the floor, they don't need more chemicals in their life!! Be sure you ask about the special cleaner they sell, it's a spot remover and kicks Resolve's tail. I have bought additional bottles through the years and I am always so grateful because it isn't harsh and I've been able to use it on my furniture too. David and Cody were out to clean my carpets again today. Too many times to remember at this point. We had a cat problem this time. I didn't receive any judgement from them, only a very thorough discussion on the extent of my problem and what my options were. David pulled up my carpet to show me where the "cat" smell was probably coming from and suggested I replace the carpet tack strip because it was soaked. David and Cody replaced the strip, used an enzyme cleaner and cleaned my carpets. It took about 2 1/2 hours. They didn't rush and I felt they did an excellent job. Customer service as always is great!! I did ask for a call on the way which the tech missed on his notes,but they waited the 5 minutes for me to make it home. I will be calling again!!! read more

Not sure what to think. We have used Home Smart in the past with good results. I called last week to schedule a carpet cleaning and was quoted a price. Today when the tech arrived he indicated that the price would be higher because they had miscalculated the square footage that would be cleaned. I'm not sure how that could be when this is the 3rd time that they cleaned our carpets in the same house. Regardless, I thought that they should honor the original price quoted and adjust their records for the future. Sounds like the right thing to do to keep a customer. HomeSmart Cleaning is the best carpet cleaning company I have found. I found them on Yelp and all of their reviews were true to the company. Darren and David have come out to my home on 2 occasions. I originally had them out in the beginning of July to clean my carpets (recently purchased a home) and to get rid of a pet urine smell from the previous owners. The carpets came out great, but we noticed that the smell was still there. I contacted Grant and he scheduled another appointment for Darren and David to come out and reassess the smell. It was decided that a pad replacement and baseboard removal was our next step. This worked. The smell is gone! Darren and David are so nice and professional. I am so happy with the results and the service we received. I feel so much better now when my son crawls on the carpet. They were on time both times they came to the house. The estimate that they give is true to what you are charged. There is no bait and switch with HomeSmart as I found with other companies. Setting up the cleaning appointment with Grant was easy and he was very responsive in answering any question I had. The cleaning crew showed up on time and did a fabulous job. Thanks Home Smart- Well Done! We have a big dog and he loves to dig up the backyard....need I say more! Anyway, we hadn't had our carpet cleaned for 2-3 years .....the carpet didn't look awful as I do vacuum quite often, but I knew it was really dirty because walking on the carpet with my white socks revealed the true story! I called " Home Smart" after looking online for a local company ...they had amazing reviews so I took a chance, and was I ever pleased with the results! The carpet went from dull and dingy to bright, fresh smelling, soft to the touch and oh so clean.....as if it were almost new! The technician "David" was terrific, he called and asked if he could come earlier than scheduled and then worked steadily for 2 1/2 hours! I've had other carpet cleaners who seem to only want to sell you on there " Add On's " and then only clean for what seemed like 10 minutes, so David's attention to detail was amazing! My wife and I recently had to deal with a bout with bedbugs, which I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, and the pest control company recommended getting all of the carpet, furniture, and area rugs cleaned after the treatment. We hired HomeSmart to do the cleaning for us. We were very happy with our choice to use HomeSmart. Two clean cut professional looking young men showed up ON TIME and were very friendly. They moved all of the furniture, beds, dressers, etc. for us, which was very nice. They really seemed to pay close attention to detail by doing such things as, covered our hardwood floors with moving blankets to protect them when they cleaned the sofa and chair in that room. We keep a pretty clean house, but with a 1 year old and a 3 year old, had a few spots on the couch and carpet. They were able to get every last spot out, and it has been 2 weeks since the cleaning and the spots haven't come back (I've had that happen with other cleaning companies before). We will defiantly use them again, and would recommend them to anyone. read more

We wanted to get our carpets cleaned to look nice for holiday entertaining. We found HomeSmart on Yelp and based on the glowing reviews, called them for an estimate. They were VERY competitively priced and were flexible, able to accommodate our limited availability, so we booked them to clean our downstairs and our stairway. These guys are amazing! We've used lots of carpet cleaning companies in the past, and we'll be calling HomeSmart back next month to clean our upstairs. Our tech David was great to work with. Professional, thorough, committed to making us raving fans, and he did it! He worked on our traffic area and a couple of stubborn stains that others couldn't get out. Clearly knew his stuff - goodbye stains! Our carpets look great, and like another reviewer mentioned, no chemical smell, just a fresh, clean smell. Our appt was early afternoon and took 3 hrs; when the job was done, the carpets were only slightly damp (David also put the furniture on the styrofoam blocks to protect it). By bedtime the carpets were dry and we could put our house back together. Nothing but praise for David and for HomeSmart. Adding our 5-star review to the others! read more
