Hot winter drinks to warm you up.

We sat in the bar, enjoyed a few cocktails, so I cannot speak to the food. The cocktails were great though, even when I went a bit off-menu. I do enjoy warm cocktails, and my partner enjoyed several of their bitters. The service was prompt and stylish.

We had an 11:15 reservation. It took them twenty minutes to seat us. Thanksgiving was $234.00 for two for the buffet. We were expecting WAY better, more and a variety. The food was mediocre at best. Some inedible. No music, no ambiance when we were seated. Nothing special about the menu or deserts. Horrible desserts pies, apple, pecan and two different pumpkin. All the pies had really old whip cream on them. No chocolate anything. They were Understaffed and under trained wait staff. They cleared our table when went up for desserts. Then we waited for forks and water. The upside...the hotel was decorated nicely.

Quick stay at the historic Hotel Colorado and decided to come get some food at the hotel as we arrived at about 9PM. The bar was open until 10 so we hustled to check in and came right down for dinner. We ordered the house burger and the Cuban sandwich, both were done perfectly and my burger looked picturesque. The sandwiches were so delicious and the fries were perfection. Sara was our server/bartender and she was amazing. Really took care of us and provided amazing service even though they were closing in about 45 mins. We also ordered a beer and a shot and the pour was generous. The restaurant/bar was clean and well lit and we really had an amazing meal here, despite of being there at the end of the evening. Will def be back again.

The lobby area this is such a beautiful hotel!

I am not necessarily a big ice cream fanatic and yet I have gotten to try a good number of similar places and I can confidently say that this shop is definitely a "stand out" amongst those others. The store motto is clearly written on the wall: "Always fresh; Always small batch; Finest ingredients" and so forth. The flavor offerings on the menu were also of another reason as to why I think this shop is not like other competitors. The employee upfront generously let us try a few to several different flavors although we exercised discipline to not be too greedy at the same time (we did our part to be well-behaving customers.) I went with two flavors (salted caramel and espresso) and my adult daughter went with London Fog. Sometimes a little sample spoonful can't manifest the true taste of it but a full scoop does reveal itself to the fullest extent. As each bite went into our mouths we started savoring the meticulously crafted ice cream in a real sense. Mine was especially marvelous as two flavors collaborated in a small cup to create a perfect balance and harmony. The store inside is simple and clean. It's not trying to show off with the way the interior looks; it's the very ice cream creation that tells the core soul of the shop. So go here for a dessert after a meal at a nearby restaurant.

Sandy was my server and she was great. Attentive without hovering, the kind of service you'd expect at a much fancier place. I decided to move from the bar to a high top when my salad arrived and she immediately jumped in to help me get resettled. Later my napkin slid off my lap and she had a fresh one down before I even reached for it. I ordered the Rocky Mountain Ribeye with fingerling potatoes, green peppercorn sauce, gorgonzola, and braised onions. It came out thinner than I usually like my steak cut, so I was a little skeptical at first, but it was cooked perfectly and very tender. The gorgonzola on top made the dish. The flavors were incredible! The fingerlings were fine but forgettable. Didn't matter -- the steak carried the plate. I also had the side salad, which I almost didn't bother with, but as it turned out, the ranch dressing was scratch-made and they toss in thin-sliced green apple, which really elevated a simple side salad. Can't figure out why this place wasn't busier. Food and service this solid deserve a full room.

Windows give a lot of inside light, decent spacing between tables so you don't feel awkward or squished. We were seated quickly. The host and servers were all nice and checked on us regularly. We started with drinks- my wife had an Irish coffee (strong!) and I had a Bloody Mary; this thing was LOADED with celery, carrot, something pickled, bacon, etc and it was divine. I wish I had taken a picture of the menu because it had some different offerings compared to what is currently on the website so unfortunately, I cannot recall the names of what we ordered but they were both fantastic! Descriptions as follows- My wife had some kind of pork hash with 2 poached eggs and caramelized onions that was melt in your mouth delish! It was a fairly large serving; she ended up saving about half of it for a meal later. I ordered a dish that had caramelized sweet potatoes, spinach, smoked salmon, spinach, mushrooms, poached eggs and an aioli - this was delightfully fresh but also filling. All the "ratios" of ingredients felt perfectly matched. Overall, if I am ever back in this area I will definitely be stopping here again!

You order at the counter, get a table sign and they deliver your order. Very large menu in screens behind the counter. There were counter signs with food choices in Spanish. No separate paper menus or QR codes. They offer fish, chicken sandwiches, burgers and salads + plenty of dessert choices. I got a ButterBurger with cheese. What got delivered was literally a single patty with American cheese and nothing else. No toppings, like lettuce or tomatoes!! I checked the menu. If you order a single with cheese, it's $5.24: But the next screen offered you to build your own burger at $4.59 + $0.45 for 1 slice of cheese = $5.05; You can add ketchup, mustard, mayo and pickles for free. You can add tomatoes for $0.30; Fortunately, I also got their Cranberry Bacon Bleu salad. A real salad with crunchy lettuce leaves, cranberries, bacon bits and blue cheese crumbles. I opted for the fat- free Raspberry Vinaigrette from Ken's. Excellent! I opted for mashed potatoes and gravy instead of french fries. I wanted a chocolate milk, but the order came out as a chocolate malt. Contrary to expectations, no tip screen. Another odd item. Separate men's & women's restrooms, but only 1 person per restroom. There were handicap accessible.

Located just off of 70E freeway take exit 114, a couple roundabout turns and you're in view of the Culver's. You'll enter the drive way and there's ample parking. Enter the double doors and you'll walk directly towards the register. Menus are over head as well as on the counter. I'm traveling for business, driving across states from California so this was my first experience of Culver's. How'd I end up here? It's was mentioned that Culver's is similar to Braums. I'm a fan of Braum's so I had to try it. Cashier was polite, I had several questions as to how the build your own worked. She was helpful. What did I order? - Double Deluxe with Wisconsin Swiss, grilled onions, no lettuce. 3/5 stars. It's nothing special, tastes just slightly fresher ingredients than other chains. I'd compare it to the quality and taste of Burger King. - Fries 3/5 stars. Nicely fried, crisp and light but lacked any additional flavor. Kinda bland. Some seasoning would've be an easy improvement. - Peanut butter banana shake. 4/5 stars. I'd definitely recommend Culver's shakes to anyone passing through and looking for a good milkshake fix. - Cheese Curds. 4/5 stars. Wonderful side. Breading is tasty, bites are of Wisconsin Cheese. We found a seat at a table in the dining area. Honestly I can't say the cleanliness was at 100%. Table and chairs had slight crumbs. Sitting down, you'll place a plaque on the table holding the number of your order. Staff deliver to you. Based on this experience, Culver's doesn't even come close to Braums. I'm likely to skip Culver's unless I'm interested in the Cheese Curds or a Milkshake. Culver's could stand to add a bit more seasoning to its food and care to its cleanliness. A couple small but very impactful adjustments that go a long way.
