Feb 13 2024, Mike and his crew, just got finished with our install. He and his team were top notch crew. Very respectful, they vacuumed dust and any mess, left nothing on the property when they were done. Windows and Door look amazing! Field Supervisor, Mark, even follows up and inspects the job and double checks no debris left at the site. This is our Third time we've used American Vision Windows over about 7 years. Did our upstairs first, then a giant front bay window and door panels. second and then completed by replacing old downstairs patio and windows. Looks awesome. Nothing was perfect though in install because of removal of the old windows but Mike informed us immediately of issues and offered resolutions. Fortunately we are not new to this game so were aware that paint and stuco touches up were likely. That we were informed immediately makes all the difference. May 2026, We used American Vision Windows again for our 4th time, we've done our upstairs, then our front bay windows, then redid the entire back and kitchen.. we had just one patio door upstairs we had not addressed which was a bit more complex and we found a single downstairs window we somehow missed. So we engaged with AVW again and they came in gave us a very good price and timeline, now during the ordering there was a hiccup in the style.. it wasnt on us or the installers or even the sales person. Just a random error. They had installed the new patio door but it was the wrong style, we were offered a significant discount but really we wanted just to keep it consistent with the rest of the home. Not an issue they just did it.. they offered the discount as an option or they would just replace it with what we wanted and they did exactly that. It was fantastic customer service. The installers were fabulous they put the same effort, quality and time putting in the replacement for the replacement.. and did an awesome job and we are glad they did it, lit up the room. I strongly advise potential customers to be extremely cautious with this company. After signing a contract with them, they unilaterally retracted it, not due to any technical impossibility, but purely for profit reasons. This is especially troubling because another reputable window company has since confirmed that installation in the existing openings is not problematic at all and has offered to complete the job with a lifetime installation warranty. What's even more concerning is the way this company handles contracts. Their contract includes blank or vague statements giving them the right to cancel for virtually any reason, but this is not clearly disclosed or explained at the time of signing. In practice, this means the contract offers customers very little real protection and cannot be relied on. This shows a pattern of irresponsible, potentially illegal conduct and serious incompetence. A signed contract should mean something. In this case, it clearly did not. Do not assume that what's written -- or not written -- in their contract protects you. Based on my experience, their commitments are unreliable, and customers should think twice before trusting them with a major home project. read more

I had a great experience with American Vision Windows. We needed a sliding patio door replaced. After reaching out, someone came out to our house within a few days to walk through options, their process, price, etc. They also had some physical samples of handles and wheels, which was very helpful. They respected my time as I considered a few quotes from other competitors. Once deciding on them, they quickly sent someone out to present and sign the contract. Within a few days after that, measurements were performed and timing was clearly communicated. The install date occurred on the shorter end of the timeline range they provided and everything was installed well and quickly. In February, I met with American Vision Windows. Their salesperson quoted my project at $8,000, and we both signed a contract. I also provided a 10% deposit. However, the next day, the salesperson informed me that my contract would be canceled unless I agreed to pay an additional $800. After multiple discussions with the general manager, he assured me they would honor the original contract price. Unfortunately, in March--on the day of the final measurements--I was told I would need to pay an additional $2,700 to get the color I had originally requested in February from the salesperson. On top of that, the salesperson misquoted the handle design and the profile of the doors and windows. Overall, this experience was a complete mess, filled with misleading sales tactics and poor communication. Beware if you choose to work with this company, and good luck! read more

To be clear, I had said that it looked like they competed with Anderson, as the initial "we need an hour of your time" pitch was the same as Andersons. I was clear that I was not interested in the pricing that Anderson provided and if they competed in that price range to not waste my time and their time. I ended up getting a very nice custom door of similar construction and quality including installation for about 30% of what they quoted. That's not even close folks.
