    Babe in the beginning.

We are sincerely grateful to Valeria for her impeccable and loving grooming services performed on our beloved dog Babe. We have taken Babe to Valeria for services since 2017. On July 4, 2023, we bid farewell to Babe, our adorable and loving Havanese dog. She lived a long and happy life just shy of 20 years. Losing a beloved pet is one of the most heartbreaking experiences a family can go through. Amidst the difficult times, we found solace and support in the many memories of picking Babe up after receiving a spectacular cut and grooming services by Valeria, working for Hometown Bed and Biscuits. Valeria is one of the best and caring Pet Stylist in the DMW. She always did her best at working us in for an appointment and then following up with Babe looking awesome! May you continue to be blessed with peace, love, good health, and joy! Stay safe and thanks for the wonderful memories, Sheila, Dickerns and Zac

Hands down the best place in the area to board your four-legged Friends. The owner is a veterinarian who has her practice right next door, so if there's ever an issue, especially for older dogs, the doc is right next door! We've taken our dogs to Hometown Vet since our 16-year old Shih Tzus were puppies, so it's only natural that we would board them at Hometown Bed & Biscuits.

I was not sure how to leave this review. My dog stayed at the kennel for 8 days. When she got home i noticed she was shaking her head and there was swelling. She had an ear infection and she was dragging her butt across the floor quite a bit. She was raw confirmed by the vet. She may have had an allergic reaction to the wet food they gave her as they said she wasn't eating her food. They gave her can food. She has never had this before but is an unknown. I have been to the vet twice for about 200 more dollars. They may have been unlucky and she got an ear infection while in their care but no one noticed she was shaking he head to the point she had scabs on both ears and swelling. I was called by someone that said they would follow-up and call back but they did not. He ear infection is gone but now working on the scabs.

It was our first time here and when I called to schedule, I had a wonderful conversation with Bryan, he definitely made me feel at ease for which I am grateful, since we are new to the area. Our 7 year old lab was here for less than a total of 30 hours - when I picked him up and got into the car, all I could smell was dog pee. Our boy has not had an accident since he was 6 months old- he can hold it for a ridiculously long time, so really, there is no excuse. Being a reasonable person, I called today and mentioned I had some concerns regarding our dog's stay and would definitely like to give some constructive feedback because of how truly disappointed I was. I was extremely polite and the nice woman who answered the phone was sweet and apologetic and said she wanted me to talk to a manager. She said she would brief him on the situation so I would not have to repeat it and get him in the phone. Jessie answers the phone "how can I help you" so I politely explain the whole thing over again and my concerns regarding his bed was soaked when I picked him up and he had a very strong pee odor radiating off him. I explained I just wanted to give this constructive feedback as opposed to just leaving a negative review and not giving them an opportunity to hear it from me and maybe institute some changes within their business. Well, let's just say Jessie then proceeded to lecture me that it is not their fault if my dog rolls around outside in pee and that dogs don't always "smell fresh" when they are picked up, he said next time I should pay extra for a bath to be done before I pick him up. I then explained to Jessie that we are a military family, and I have had to board our dog numerous places from upscale boarding places all the way to wonderful people who have watched him in their home, and while he does not always come home smelling "fresh", he has never once smelled of urine before, and that I was just reaching out as a courtesy. I literally paid $140 for my dog to be there for less than 30 hours total; I do not have a warm fuzzy that he was well taken care of. Take your babies elsewhere! Picture of our boy just because I don't want to end this on a bad note

I took my fur baby there for a grooming and everyone was very friendly and loving to us upon arrival. Hailey (sorry if misspelled) was amazing. She took such great care of Wickett, that he made sure to make his rounds and say his goodbyes before leaving. That is always a great sign! She gave him a very thorough grooming, which is not easy with a long hair dog, and an awesome fun dye job as well.

My dog has been there twice and already I'm impressed! I researched four or five other dog daycares and I'm glad I decided to bring my 5-year-old Sophia here. It's also comforting to know that there is a veterinary practice right next door should the need ever arise. Everyone I met has been welcoming and provides great customer service. The facility is very nice and the staff is trained in dog behavior, which is so helpful, especially when I have questions. They're very good about updating me about Sophia's behavior; you can tell how much they understand and care about dogs. If I need to board her, I'll bring her there with no hesitation.

I had to self bathe him myself for years. Recently I had to board him last minute due to heading out of town. I also was nervous boarding him as he shuts down/will not cooperate as well. However, I receive no issues with boarding. He seem great leaving the facility. He has been matted for a while and needed sanitary trimming and brush out. The scheduler thought Jason was the perfect guy to handle. She was right. Jason brought me a new dog. You can tell my dog felt so much better. My family loved it. Highly recommend Olde Town Pet Resort Springfield for boarding and grooming needs.

Though, I was within her peripheral vision and she definitely was aware I was there. She just never greeted me. Then, a coworker of hers, also a female, came to her to talk to her. She too did not acknowledge me. I saw another customer enter and line up in front of a male employee. He helped her. So I went and lined up there. He ignored me. Wtf. The 2nd female who ignored me after the 1st female noticed I was not being helped, so she asked me, "Have you been helped?" I flatly said, "No." The 1st female looked at me for the first time, but with attitude and anger, almost like she wanted to hit me. The guy proceeded to help me, barely making eye contact with me. Meanwhile, the 1st female was staring me down everywhere she went. I even caught it on camera. Ask me for the footage. I even posted it on Yelp. This was such a bizarre, rude experience. Customer service was extremely poor at the front desk. Only the customer service at the cattery lightened my mood. Such a stark difference. Whoever helped me there was extremely sweet. Front desk was horrible.

Pebbles (blue heeler, 1.5 years old) would never listen to me, would not sit or lay still, and had a lot of other obedience issues that caused her to be stressed or confused. She was a TOUGH dog to train and I was concerned I couldn't find the solution for her to get basic concepts. This view has completely changed since working with RSK9's 3 week program. I would HIGHLY recommend them and their methods - you can tell they genuinely love working with dogs and it's made a huge difference in giving my dog the chance to find real rest at home. They send DAILY updates with photos and videos which was so nice. This isn't a regular class or something you just pay for; it's truly an investment that you and your dog will be using for the time you get to share together. Side note: it's worth doing 3 weeks versus 2 weeks. At the 2 week mark is when Pebbles really started to understand her marks and cues. From here there is so much more that can be refined and Brandi/Perry really capitalize on that threshold being crossed!
