This is a very small restaurant located on the outskirts of the Greenwood Mall. It has a very small dining area that is not well maintained. There is also a television in the dining area, but it was not on while I was there. I deiced to eat there anyway, primarily because I did not want to eat in my car. The restaurant has adequate parking available, especial considering that it shares some of the mall's parking. There was also a farmers market operating right next to it while I was there. Also, they maintain a couple of food trucks that you will see in the parking lot. The staff was not rude and not over friendly. They did their job. Nothing more, nothing less. They do not have delivery, but you can use 3rd-part delivery such as Uber Eats or Grub Hub to bring you food. They have a drive through pickup window for those that had pre ordered. They have some appetizers such as mozzarella sticks, french fries, and garlic knots. They also have a few signature pies on the menu as well. You can buy a pie (3 sizes) or just a slice. You can also make your own. I got a small Da Big Meat Yorker. It took them about 15 minutes to make my pie. I ate it in the dining room. It was not really New York style, but it was good. It had flavor and was made fresh. If I am in the area, I would surly eat here again.

EVERYBODY Is a pizza critic these days and EVERYBODY claims to know what a real NY Slice is all about. Look no further - here's where you'll find it. Wish I hadn't been so hungry or I would've gotten a picture of the pizza itself or the delicious chewy garlic knots - but alas I managed a photo of the cannolis so hopefully all is forgiven. RUN don't walk to this place - you won't regret it. And DAN is a great guy - show him some love!!

Decided to try the NY Slice from Door Dash and was pretty disappointed. I like that they had pizza by the slice so I could try a couple different slices. I got the pepperoni and a meat slice and hubby tried to recreate the cheese Louise from Jocamos with a build your own slice option. We also ordered the garlic knots. The pizza isn't gross by any stretch but it's not great. The crust is decent, the sauce is bland, and the toppings were like an afterthought. They didn't meld well into the pizza. The knots were dry and semi-tasteless. It tasted nothing like the name implies. Overall it was just okay. We won't be ordering again.

Two slices of pie - pepperoni and sausage.

Great place to get a hot authentic New York slice or pie. We went with a slice and it was hot and tasty.

This place is literally the best NY styled pizza you will find anywhere in the area. GO HERE!! CHOOSE HERE!! I am not lying when I say I've had this pizza 10-15 times since I've moved here 4-5 months ago and I keep coming back!!!The owner is an absolute angel and you're supporting a local business! There are a lot of pizza options in the Indy area and this is the one you should choose.

The place is the TRUTH! Great price, authentic New York style and friendly serve... What are you waiting for, order something.

This place is the TRUTH! Authentic New York style food, great prices, atmosphere, and service is great... Order something, and see for yourself.

after my sugar appointment and during i knew i needed pizza. so i searched for near by places. i was shocked to learn the ny slice had a brick & mortar out there. i ordered online and it said to hit the drive thru after i received the text that my food was ready. i waited maybe 5mins in their parking lot. the inside is currently closed. when i pulled up i was asked my name and handed my food. i opened the box and whewww alllof the cheese. i can't say this is actually new york foldable but it is thin and cheesy and greasy. loved every slice. i ate it in the car on my drive home with zero shame. the garlic knots are good too. i personally prefer when they're super coated in garlic butter. the dough itself and cheese was fine though. absolutely will be back if i'm in the area!

The truck was at the Statehouse market and was one of the few to offer dessert. The cannoli were a little small, but yummy.

The NYC is our new Friday pizza spot for the last four Fridays since we tried the Formaggi it is amazingly delicious!

I grew up in Jersey and tour full time all over America with my comedy magic show and motivational speaking and stopped to try a 20" pie. Big slices, amazing crust and flavor. Perfect! Highly recommend.

A true hidden gem in Greenwood! This counter-serve spot offers tasty pizza, quick service, and reasonable prices. My wife and I were both very excited to try this place and we are very glad we did. I had a slice with bacon and ricotta cheese added and it was truly awesome. We will definitely be back!

I don't know what NY they grew up in but the spelling in the menu should have tipped me off to the GAWBAGE I just ate. A Sicilian cut in 6 pcs? The recipe for dough is much just like Pizza Hut (actually Pizza Hut is better.) NOT the New York or NJ boardwalk pizza I actually grew up with. The bread sticks were just that. Kinda like popping open a can of Pillsbury and shaking Italian seasoning and powdered parmesan on it. I am disgusted spent $60 for this nonsense. Oh we got the Greek salad too. It was fresh and pretty but no croutons. I guess they didn't have any left over pop out bread to make croutons. Caesar salads COME with CROUTONS. I guess I can scrape the sauce off my crunchy pizza and throw it in my salad. Save your money!! Exit 30 if you are wondering!

Man, was I glad to see the Caveman Truck parked beside the Speakeasy after a few beer samples at…read morethe Indiana Tasting Society event! The menu offered a few different foods with multiple choices on sizes (by the ounce), and the lovely hostess taking our order was delightful. We had a really hard time deciding what to get as everything looked reeeeeeally good, but we opted to split the following: *Bacon Hash -- 4 oz for $4 -- well worth it! *Barnyard chili -- 8 oz for $7 -- pricy yet tasty *Jicama Tacos (one chicken guac and one chorizo aioli) -- 2 for $7 -- messy but pretty good *Fudge bites for dessert -- $3 for one -- dark chocolate, peanut butter, banana, sea salt, and applesauce mixed and formed in to a hockey-puck type solid mass. It was not really sweet like I expected, and kind of hard to eat. Probably wouldn't get it again. Next time I will totally get the Brussels Sprouts for myself when not sharing with the hubs :) I would say overall this was a 3 1/2 star experience for me as it was over $20 for 'snacks' and we were still hungry afterwards, but a star bump for using real, quality ingredients.

Still, I'll support a paleo food truck when the truck has "bacon (greater than) gluten" painted on the side of it. That's one way to get my attention for sure! On our visit my boyfriend and I shared two tacos--one chicken, one chorizo--fried plantains, and the brussel sprouts. I have so many nice things to say about all three. Instead of corn or flour, Caveman Truck uses fresh jicama as a tortilla to hold its protein + slaw + guac/aioli. It's the perfect starchy alternative to cut through the good greasiness of the chorizo. The plantains are not only fried in coconut oil beautifully, but also they are caked with a curry-based seasoning, providing you with a sweet plantain that also has some savory elements to it. The brussel sprouts--my favorite of the three--are fried in coconut oil and topped with an overload of crumbled bacon and a spritz of lime. It's a little bit of fatty, a little bit of zesty and a whole lot of flavor. All three dishes knocked it out of the park. From here on out, I'll be keeping an eye out for the Caveman Truck on the streets of Indy, because I still need to try the highly-praised barnyard chili and bacon hash. If this is how our ancestors ate, then I can't wait to eat the primal way again!
