On entering I asked the unmasked receptionist for hand sanitizer. She looked around and found it behind some items on her desk. I sat in the waiting room in a chair where I could see down the hall. The audiologist stepped unmasked into the hallway with the unmasked patient she had just worked with, said goodbye to her and motioned for me to come into the same room. Obviously she had not sanitized the chair I was to sit in or her desk and did not wash her hands. I was in the room with her for about 30 minutes at about 4 feet apart. The audiologist touched my phone, though she did not touch me or my hearing aids. She never put on a mask and as I left her room called in the next patient. Totally unacceptable behavior during COVID-19.

One audiologist wanted $4553 for a pair of Unitron Moxi All 700 hearing aids, offering just a one year warranty, one year of batteries, etc. Drum Roll, I got the Unitron Moxi PRO (two step increase) for $1879 for a pair special this month. They have the recharger and rechargeable batteries, the bluetooth with smart phone or Iphone for phone calls and music. So, if you have an audiogram by a licensed audiologist, but just can't afford the hearing aids... look no further, save thousands. I was fitted with mine today and got a bag full of containers, wax filters, domes, recharger and batteries, tools, etc. with a three year warranty, no extra for recharger. He has outstanding follow up and communication.
