Pizza was ok. The crust is great. The only thing I didn't like was that you get charged an extra dollar to do half and half. Half pepperoni and half supreme or as they call it their school mascot, can't remember the name. Anyhow my pepperoni was the only thing warm. It was like they made the pepperoni pizza then just threw the other toppings on the other half cold without being cooked, it was strange. How do you get cold sausage and vegetables? They were nice enough, didn't say anything when we left and I asked the young man what the wifi password is and he says, "it's right there!" Pointed to the napkin dispenser and walked away. Okay??? We were traveling back from Reno after a hectic trip, tired & super hungry on a road where there is basically miles and miles of empty desert. So to find this locally owned pizza place was just great! It's a nice, clean & no-fuss stop. The pizza was good, fresh, with crispy crust and tons of gooey cheese. Me: For fresh ingredients and a nice, clean environment, this place gets an easy 4 stars. The salad bar was fresh and clean and obviously well-stocked and taken care of. The soup of the day was clam chowder. Delicious, but only warm (could be hotter, but better than scorched, I guess). As for the pizza, smelled amazing when we walked in. Crust is a little sweet and perfectly crisped. It was not thin crust and didn't notice the option for any other sort of crust. The toppings were generous yet without that soggy middle from too much sauce or stuff, in general, when it came out. Place isn't super fancy, but also not outdated and not overpriced. Him: There's a good selection of sodas in the fountain. They have free candy, but maybe it's just for the holidays. The pizza crust was soft and puffy, yet crispy. Great salad bar!! The lettuce was mostly dark green romaine and cut small. Not all the white stuff from iceberg lettuce like most salad bars use as filler. Had just about everything except peas and kidney beans. A little pricey, but unlimited so it's worth it and it also comes with unlimited bread sticks. Very clean place. Pizza was very good. We usually order thin crust but I forgot to ask so got the regular crust. It was still good but would have been better with thin crust. The gentleman who waited on us (maybe the owner?) never smiled, not too friendly, but a great place. I see another review said a girl waited on him and she was not friendly. Stopped here for a quick bite because my wife was hungry and we had to kill some time before an appointment, didn't want to go to Burger King or Subway. This isn't real pizza, it's conveyor belt pizza. However, at least it's hand tossed. We ordered a small pizza with pepperoni. It was a bit greasy. My wife and I both agreed that it wasn't terrible but wasn't great. It was a quick, so-so meal. If you are a foodie, prepare to be underwhelmed. Lunch buffet is the deal here: $8.99 plus tax (total $9.53 if I remember correctly) and that includes the drink (soda fountain). All you can eat: small salad bar with good selection, one kind of soup, usually 3 different pizzas, and breadsticks, both garlic and cinnamon. You can't help but fill yourself up completely, for under $10. The BBQ chicken pizza is the best, but the others are good, standard pizza. Only loses points for the unattractive mess-hall type seating area, and the harsh fluorescent lighting. Not enjoyable to be there. But the food and value make up for it. When this place started out, we went there in the evening to order a pizza and they told us it would take one hour, so we left. Don't know if they have improved that or not. read more

It's easy and tempting to always want to report on bad business and bad service. Herewith a totally positive review. I pass through Tonopah every so often and Tonopah seems to be wasting away. However ! This hometown Pizza is great ! A little bit spendy perhaps, but considering the crap they serve as lunch specials at other pizza places,the chain pizza parlors in particular, this place has my warm recommendation the pizza is fresh, obviously the dough made from scratch and quite tasty, in contrast to other places one can eat the whole slice and not run out of topping like the " other places " where you see crust edges lining up at the edge of the plate and the customers went on to the next slice with a morsel of pepperoni or whatever on it !. It's a large place, not big on atmosphere but NOT BAD !. I know where I'm having lunch next time I'm in Tonopah read more
