We came by this morning and split an order of chorizo con huevos. It was great quality, a nice portion and decently priced. The service was also really friendly and made us excited to come back! This was a great place for breakfast. The interior is. I thing to write home about and may even scare some away, but don't go. We were steamed right away and a sweet woman came for our drink order. We ordered a traditional breakfast with French toast. Our scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, moist and fluffy. Our bacon was crisp and the French toast was cooked through and nicely browned. We received plenty of butter and syrup. We enjoyed our fresh made breakfast and would recommend if you find yourself in Twisp or Winthrop. read more

If you happen to be in Twisp on a Sunday morning and looking for a place to eat, El Valle is one of your two choices. But really the only one that serves a full breakfast. Since there's not much competition I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. We had a chorizo scramble and chicken fried steak. Both were good sized portions. The chorizo came with hot tortillas (flour or corn) and refried beans. The beans were too smooth for my liking. And it would have been better if the tortillas were homemade though they did the trick. Pro tip: order a side of tortillas instead of hashbrowns if they don't already come with your dish. What's holding El Valle from a 4 or 5 star rating is the atmosphere. Some vibrant paint, pictures, and better lighting could really bring up the energy. Family run, the staff was attentive, but could have been more friendly - a smile and "welcome friend", some friendly chit chat, etc. would go a long way to make you feel more like family than a stranger. All said, next time I'm in town I'd still stop in, and support this local business. read more

We arrived in Twisp on a Sunday afternoon and found many restaurants closed. We all felt like Mexican food and El Valle was recommended at the gas station, so we walked around the corner and found the restaurant. We were quickly seated, our drink order was taken and chips were delivered... they were wonderful - we all enjoyed them and the salsa too. We placed our order and the food promptly arrived. All entrees were hot (except for the salads..) and very tasty! We ordered a variety of dishes, all had great flavor and were devoured! My fajita salad was delicious, with fresh avocado and tender steak. I would definitely order again! My husband ordered Chile Rellenos and he loved them. My husband and I were in Twisp doing laundry on a camping trip and were looking for someplace to have breakfast l found El Valle on Yelp and it had great reviews. Well, we were not disappointed at all! My traditional breakfast was one of the best ever, with super crispy hash browns, eggs over medium that were perfect and some of the best sausages ever! We ordered up the Huevos Rancheros, one ham and one chorizo, I was almost inhaling the eggs & ham on a flour tortilla, it was delicious! Half way through we decided to trade, the chorizo was even more amazing, unsure how this was even possible, and I was almost inhaling food again. I'm thinking this has gotta be the best representation of Mexican food for miles, simple, traditional, and so tasty! Prices are very reasonable, and the best in twenty miles, and coffee is the right price, think it was two bucks. Pretty sure I'm returning next week for some lunch and dinner! The staff was courteous and the food was amazing. The portions were big! I had pancakes that were large and fluffy. The eggs were cooked to order. We are there for breakfast at 10:30 am on a Saturday. Not busy but not dead either. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito and my husband ordered the chorizo huevo rancheros. They gave him the choice of of corn or flour tortillas, they give three. He wasn't given the choice of how he wanted his eggs cooked, they were scrambled. When our food was delivered we joked that his dish looked like mine just that he had to make his own burritos and he had beans to go with his. Both dishes had great flavor. Prices were decent too. I did order a side of avocado, which cost me $2, but was plentiful. I swear it was half of an avocado so that made me happy, since I love me some avocado.
