But roughly that price point. I didn't order the clam dish but another person did and the woman and a man quickly set up a table and chair for him to enjoy it in front of the truck. The boy taking our order said the bill came to "triente y una" ($31). I gave him $50, and he gave me $8 in change, rather than $19. I was prepared to give them a tip, as times are hard. I asked for six salsa verdes, and the boy said I had to pay an additional $2 dollars for them, even though the last time we went another customer had asked for that many and not been charged extra. When we got our tortas, the bread was burned and the "carne asada" was chopped up hamburger. Moreover, the "beef" did not taste like meat. It tasted like verge burger. I tried both the tacos de lingua and tacos de asada, and both tasted the same, like crispy, unseasoned beef. We will never return here. We don't trust them to do honest business or make a consistently high quality product. The first time we tasted the meat, it was well cooked, seasoned perfectly, and tasted like real beef.
