10/10. Came here after movie nights with some friends in our onsies. I ordered A LOT but I didn't regret it. It's named fresh so it was HOT when I received it. Got their strawberry milk, amazing. It's a good truck so there aren't any tables but it's alongside a parking structure so you see many individuals just standing outside their car or around the place just eating and enjoying the night. Definitely would recommend and come back.
Churros don Abel has been on my bucket list for a really long time. I am glad I have finally tried it. I was shopping at hoa binh market and saw there truck. Checked they opened at 3pm on a Sunday. I was there at the right place and time. There was one person in line before me. I only saw on the menu that they sold 10 to start. I didn't want 10 so I asked if they sold single churros. They said $2 each. I ordered 2. They were ready in a matter of mins. Piping hot. I did not attempt to try as I didn't want to burn myself. Even holding the bag was hot. I wanted about 15 mins before digging it. They were nice and crispy, still warm on the inside!
I was really craving a good churros after dinner one night and made my way out to Rosemead for this churros good truck. It's located in front of a market so I ordered and shopped around the market. There was only one person working there when I went, so it did take a little bit of time, but no rush on my end. There was various different types of churros, but I opted for the classic and ordered 10 for $15, which I thought was a pretty good deal. I had one immediately and it was so tasty, the churros was cooked to perfection and had enough cinnamon. Delicious!! I took the rest home to eat and they were still good about 30 minutes later. I ate the rest the next few days and I put them in the air fryer to reheat and they were still pretty good few days later. Definitely going to make it out to this food truck next time I'm craving a sweet churros.
Churros and coffee: the perfect snack duo on a cold 50° weather night! Rolled up at about 7pm, no line or wait to order. This truck in particular is located next to a plaza so there is plenty of parking available next to the truck. Ordered one small order of churros which took about 5-10 minutes. Grabbed a cup of their free cafe de olla (black coffee with cinnamon and piloncillo). Coffee was hot and kept us warm while the churros were being cooked and prepped. Churros came out hot and crispy and delicious and sweet! These churros are thick and have a soft (almost custard-like) interior. You can order a side of dipping sauces for extra sweetness but they're perfect as-is.

The fry oil took a bit longer to heat properly during my visit, but they were understanding and generously bagged a few more extra churros. This is their food truck location that parks on Garvey by the CVS and supermarket. Prices have gone up for churros. They're still as good as before and made to order. Crispy/crunchy and soft on the insides; they always hit the spot. Beats the churros you get at Disneyland. They charge a fee for credit card transactions so bring cash. Good service. Can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!
These churros are no joke! Super crispy exterior with a soft texture inside makes a great combination for the perfect churro. Next time I'm going to try original so I can get that cinnamon taste! I got the one with condensed milk and caramel, it was super good but a little too sweet for my liking but I loved it nonetheless. The service is good, but you are going to have to wait as they make it fresh to order. Not a problem since I'm a patient person:p
There's plenty of parking by the CVS. Also, interestingly enough, the directions from Yelp has you walking to the otherside of Garvey Street. It's at the CVS side instead. The staff was nice and the churros took some time to be made. So they are made to order. They definitely were hot amd fresh! There's a $1 charge per card transaction. The churros are pretty good. Plentiful sugar added. They are quite curvy and can break halfway through. It's a bit oily like a carnival level of fried flavor. It has a crispy exterior and slight doughy. But for the price, it's for sure worth it. Also there's not many churro places around this area so this food truck will settle your cravings.
The churros are always so fresh and hot here. I've been to this truck 4 times now and every time I was never disappointed. The woman who helped me was super nice (as usual) she even gave me 2 extra. The wait was typical about 5-10 mins but so worth it for the sugary goodness! Next time I'm trying the strawberry milk! I usually order #1 which was $15. read more
This churro truck is amazing. They only sell churros, and some drinks/coffee, but really their churro is the star of the show. They fry them fresh and so the churros come out curved instead of straight like how you're typically use to seeing them at amusement parks. They were soft and chewy at the center. Very hot so be careful when you bite into them. The cinnamon sugar was amazing. We ordered an order of 10 for 4 people and we devoured it all at our car. If you love churros, this is the spot. And you can also head down the street to get yourself an ice cream from McDonalds to go with your churro, if your ice cream machine isn't "down". Tip: their coffee cups are HUGE so if you order at night like some other guys did, you may not get to sleep that night if you plan to finish it read more

Best churros ever. Always have to hit this spot when I'm around. Cashier was awesome and it's at a food truck with lots of parking at the Asian supermarket. Good set-up with free coffee. Good area but it's on a Main Street. Safe and busy environment. read more

These churros are crunchy and addicting! The minimum order on the menu was 10 churros but they let me order just 5 and it was $8. My order was made when I ordered it and the wait was just about 5 minutes. They provided self serve free coffee by the truck. read more
honestly THE BEST CHURROS i've had in my life, the quality is supreme, tasty, and very long too! they have drinks as well, but i didn't get any; however, i would definitely recommend it to everyone. it's right next to the hoa binh supermarket parked on the street! read more

The price of churros went from 10 churros for $13 to 10 churros for $15 Food truck food is supposed to be cheap and convenient. Something quick and easy for those driving by. The churros are great quality but does not justify the $2 increase. There are churros of the same quality for better price nearby elsewhere. The best FRESH churros in SGV! I ordered the #1 and after waiting 10 minutes, my churros were ready. It was a tad bit oily but still delicious. I feel they were pretty generous with their portions. Come here if you want fresh, delicious, crispy churros! read more

This review is for a food truck located at 8244 Garvey Avenue (just east of San Gabriel Blvd.). As you undoubtedly surmised, the truck serves churros (both unfilled and cajeta-strawberry filled). Additionally, they serve a variety of flavored milk in bags, as well as a delicious iced coffee. I found the taste and texture of their churros to be fresh and high-quality. The exact operating days/hours of the truck are unclear to me, as they were not posted. That said, my initial visit was last Sunday night a bit between 930-10PM, so take from that what you will. The truck offers *free* self-serve "Coffee De Olla" on weekends (brilliant loss leader tactic, by the way). I sampled a cup of it, and found it to be a very sweet and delicious black (no creamer) coffee. It's great on a cold night, but you'll want to just go ahead and pay for the iced coffee when the weather is on the warmer side. The staff on the truck were very nice, and there was a very empty parking lot next to the truck during our visit. 5/5 Stars, will definitely return. read more

Simple food truck selling mostly churros. Quick service and they take Apple Pay. Ordered the 10 piece. Came out hot and crispy with a good doughy middle. Taste was great but was expecting some cinnamon flavor but primarily covered with just sugar. Churros not too oily and is a great size. Satisfied my sweet cravings. churros don abel is the best after-dinner dessert! it honestly made my night to unexpectedly see the truck parked while on my way home (I def made a u-turn immediately). the churros and crunchy, fluffy, and not too sweet - definitely one of the best churros I've ever had. their smallest bag comes with 10 churros which was more than enough for my family of 4. the staff were super friendly and quick with the order and I got my still-hot churros almost immediately. I will definitely be seeking out churros don abel more often now that I know that they're in Rosemead and I highly recommend! read more
Delicious place for churros! Yes you can buy 1 churro it cost me $1.5! I also got a mango milk - I think this is slept on. It was really good a little icey but once it melted more it felt like I was drinking liquid mango pudding. My boyfriend went another time and also tried the other milks but it was unanimously agreed mango was the best. The churro was also good you can tell it was fresh, I went around 9pm on a Sunday night and the churro came out quickly so I could tell it wasn't freshly fried when ordered, but still really good! It was parked by a Vietnamese supermarket with a few lights in the parking lot so it wasn't too dark. read more

Fresh, hot churros at a decent price. We got the bolsa chica, the pictures were, in a good way misleading- the churros themselves were bigger than I expected. It came in a paper bag and each churro was coated in plenty of sugar and cinnamon. Having looked at the pictures beforehand, I thought the bolsa chica was like a bag of mini churros and the churrochiny were bigger ones, but after getting my order it looks like the difference boils down to whether they add the caramel, condensed milk and strawberry toppings. This place is a food truck on the side of the road, but they're lit up with signs so they're hard to miss! They also had free coffee available at the time we ordered, so that was neat! You might also be able to find other trucks depending on where you find them so there might also be options nearby too for other stuff too! Oh, they also accept cards + Apple Pay, with $1 fee if you do use it, so there's that option if you didn't bring cash! read more

Waiting 40 minutes for the oil to heat up is crazy....but the churros at Aaaahhhhmazing! These churros make me happy. My mom is a churro connoisseur and she gave them a 10/10. It would make sense to have the oil ready before opening so customers don't have to wait. Just a suggestion--or maybe just common sense. I watched a man wait an entire hour for his churros, which is completely unreasonable, and he wanted to cry. But he was happy when he got the churros! read more

10/10 Churros, 11/10 Parking! We LOVE churros. So, when we found out this churro truck was near us, we were psyched! The churros were truly 10/10--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and HOT AND FRESH straight from the fryer. They make them on the spot, so you know they're fire. We got 2 orders of 10 churros (don't judge us, we had to share) and they were pretty big--definitely worth every bite. Only thing we wish is that they had smaller orders because sometimes 10 churros is just a lot, even for churro lovers like us. And the best part? The parking--so much space, which is a rare gem for food trucks. On weekends, they've got this black coffee (with a hint of cinnamon? We're not entirely sure, but it's amazing) and it's FREE! Like, who does that? Best surprise ever. They open from 3pm-11pm on weekdays (we're not sure about weekends because, well... we forgot, LOLOL), but honestly, it's worth any time. No words needed... I always love churros Don Abel. It's well worth the drive and the price and now they are even closer at San Gabriel. We got the 10 churros for $13, the fried banana, and one order champurado. Churros were fried beautifully, all 10 were crispy goodness. The fried banana was really ripe and sweet. They come with the cajeta and strawberry syrup - very sweet and oh so sinfully good. The champurado was also good - but instead of the champurado, I'd rather go on weekend and get their free cafe de olla. It goes so well with the churros. We are already planning to go every weekend. The truck is located in front of CVS and an Asian market. Ample parking inside CVS parking lot. read more

The churros was very fresh. Crunchy on the outside and soft like custard in the inside. The service was fast and the lady was extremely nice. It was parked next to the CVS in a quiet area. In the weekends they also give out free coffee which was very nice. Prices were fair and the churros are outstanding. read more
