Great food...great service. Well prepared and well presented. Extensive menu with many options.

The sushi was great. All tasted very fresh & we did AYCE. however, the service & servers need some work, we came here on a Friday, revered thru yelp and we were able to be sat right away. The 1st server gave us a menu and explained the limtaions on the Sashimi , then another server came to re-explain and let us know we didnt order sashimi the 1st round either way. the service was difficult to get refills, etc. also it took about 15 mins between rounds because maybe the kitchen was backed up, im not sure but it took a lonnng time read more

Had dinner here for the first time. The AYCE with the limited sashimi was pretty decent, however most of the sashimi Was sliced very thin for Sashimi. The regular sushi, rolls, cut rolls and hand rolls has a LOT OF RICE compared to our normal Sushi rest in Rancho. I definitely recommend paying the extra $5 for the limited sashimi AYCE ($31). If you go for the reg AYCE ($26) it's probably not a good idea as they pack on the rice and fills you up quick! I would give this place a border line 3.5/3.75 star, but went with the 4 because of the limited Sashimi upgrade. Despite thin cuts of Sashimi and Super Plump rice on the sushi, it's a decent place to try. Also, I noticed that the Sushi chefs often forgot to make some items on our order sheet. It happen at least on two rounds where something was missed. I think they do this on purpose so you don't over order and they control cost. read more

I will preface this review by saying I drove 30 minutes from my home to pick up this food. I was referred to this location by a good friend of mine who spoke highly of it. Upon my arrival the waitresses could not find my order lo and behold they remembered they gave it to somebody else who came to pick it up. Obviously that person was not me and I went back-and-forth with them proving to them that I was who I said I was. After about 7 to 8 minutes of arguing they asked me if I can wait for my order to be remade. first of all that's ridiculous the first thing they should've done was remake my order when they discovered that I was not the one that picked it up. Pretty much common sense customer service. So on top of the half an hour drive to the restaurant I had to wait an additional half an hour for them to remake my food. Not once did they ask me if I wanted anything to drink nor did they comp anything for their mistake. Absolutely disgusting customer service. read more

Was surprised on how the Raman was here for it to be a sushi restaurant. I ordered take out and when I got it home, the broth was so rich and flavorfully. Only notice for me was the noodles needed to be heated to tone down the firmness. read more

As always a great meal at our favorite sushi restaurant. From the moment we arrived the entire staff treated us very well and the food was even better than the last time we ate here. Green Monster Roll and the Ricky Bobby Roll are a must. Our server was new but you couldn't tell. She was very personable and attentive. Even other staff members checked in on us. I was looking for sushi places outside of my regular places in Riverside and Rancho, and came across Hon Sushi. It had good reviews and the pictures made it look good, so me and my BF decided to go try it out. When we got in, the place wasn't too small but it wasn't big either. The space seemed comfortable to fit everyone if it got packed without other tables being too nearby or getting in the way or servers bumping into you as they walk/run by. Decided on the $20 AYCE (it's $25 for AYCE w/ one round of sashimi). The nigiri looked and tasted really fresh. Definitely better quality AYCE sushi than a lot of other places. However, the rice portions were pretty sizable compared to the fish. It wasn't like "Holy crap, the slices of fish are so thin and the amount of rice is huge!" But more like "Hmmm, little bit less rice and it would be perfect." I'm not complaining though, I got my sushi fix for a reasonable price and great service! Always getting checked up on, asked how we were doing, and overall friendly staff! Food - A (minus the rice portion) Service - A Atmosphere - A I would definitely recommend this place to those who are near/in Corona or are looking for a good AYCE sushi place in I.E. or are willing to drive out to Corona! I'm a frequent sushi eater. I've eaten in Hawaii and places in SoCal. A big part of my rating has to do with raw fish, ratios, and customer service. Customer service 3 stars: they were very kind unfortunately service was dreadful. I eat a lot and care with two other friends. We all ordered our own dishes but the would bring a roll at a time. We were forced to share rather than them bringing 2-3 dishes at a time where we could eat our own. It was also not a busy hour when we came Raw options: 4 overall. Rice wasn't too much for the sashimi. Albacore is my absolute favorite sashimi but I would give it a 3. If you like albacore it's ok and gets your craving but not quality Ratio: 3 stars - if you've had baked salmon roll from big tuna in riverside you'll be very disappointed here. The almost salmon on top is so thin is overpowered by the rice. Overall I wouldn't be against a friend wanting to come here but it would not be my choice to show people sushi. I don't recommend coming here hungry. read more

The Viva Burrito is absolutely amazing! I love how spicy it is but tolerable. I also love how they have their deals of buy 3 get 1 free. The workers are always so friendly when I come in and also polite on the phone. I just I wish that door dash wouldn't charge $7 for delivery. Hon Sushi is my family's goto AYCE place in Corona. I appreciate that they still do outdoor dining during covid. I think the price had gone up a bit during this time, but they are still well worth it. All the servers and courteous and attentive. sushi men pump out your orders relatively quick even when it's busy. The fish quality is quite good for AYCE and I like the variety in menu, not just all rolls (they have extensive appetizers and nigiri included as part of AYCE). Hope they never close down. read more

Went there for lunch, even though there empty tables we were told there was an hour wait. waited the hour only for the hostess/server to tell me it was going to be another 30 min, mind you the place was empty..maybe 3 tables were occupied. I have dined in here 3 times in the last 6 months. I order the same thing each time. Last Friday my husband went in with with his coworkers and had my usual order made to go for me. I was very dissatisfied with the assortment of fish they provided. I have never been given octopus on a sashimi combo plate ever, not just here but any of the many other sushi restaurants I have been to over the past 15 years. If i was aware octopus was even an option, I would have specified no octopus but honestly after ordering this dish so many times from different locations and never getting octopus, how was I supposed to know? Great food! All fresh and delicious! This is my second time coming in the same week. I have to admit that their sushi is addicting! Im coming back again in two weeks! Our first experience is there was a long wait. It took us an hr before we could get seated. Our second experience is much better. We got seats in no time. Faster service and they have more people. We came in Wednesday afternoon and it was very busy and Sunday lunch time which is more accommodating. Would come back again for sure. read more

First time at this spot after hearing from people about it. First off, the sushi was very flavorful and the pieces of fish were huge and tasty, they have outdoor seating too. All in all I liked the restaurant, decor and most of all the food. First timer today! I went during lunch with my husband and choose the ayce menu for approximately $23 Per person. They take your temperature when check on thier tablet and there are bottles of sanitizer at every table. I was able to check in at the location and get a free soda! The food was very good overall! The place has plenty of parking. The inside is very clean and the service was exceptional. We had the all you can eat for $25 but had the choice of paying $30 to include sashimi. There are plenty of rolls to choose from but not as many as others AYCE.The sushi was good but for my taste the rolls had a little to much rice. This is just my opinion. We also had seared tuna, seared albacore and scallops. The scallops smelled real fishy and were chewy. It made me get sick. The other food was good but that ruined it for me. read more
