I took my vehicle to Firestone Complete Auto Care for mounting, balancing, and alignment of two new…read moreback tires. The process started with conflicting information: I was told I ordered the wrong tires, then that the correct tires hadn't been delivered yet. Once the tires were finally delivered and installed, I returned the next day to find one tire was flat. When I called, I was told to bring the wheel in so they could check for a puncture, which seemed reasonable. At the shop, I was informed they couldn't pull up the previous work in the system and were to check if I had run over a nail or screw. Within about 10 minutes, I was told the rim was cracked and that it probably existed before the service, and that I'd need a new rim. This was surprising because: - The rim did not leak before the tire installation. - The new tire had no damage when I found it flat. - The rim and tire were inspected at the time of installation, so I question how the rim could crack or be damaged during service without an immediate failure or noticeable damage on the new tire. The final outcome was insufficient: I was told they do not repair rims and there was no clear explanation, accountability, or resolution offered. The communication throughout this process was inconsistent, and I did not receive a concrete plan to move forward or a satisfactory remedy. Ridiculous

I took my truck to Firestone because there was a miss in the #6 cylinder. After their evaluation…read morethey stated that the engine was blown and had to be replaced. ($8500-$9500) I started doing a little bit of research and found out that the model of my truck is known for the lifters going bad. I relayed the information to Firestone and they swore that they had done everything they could and nothing but a new motor would fix it. I took it to a local mechanic that I was referred to (Gibson Auto) and the issue was exactly what I told Firestone to check. It was a collapsed lifter and I got it fixed for just a little over $1500. The moral of this story is to do a little research and ask questions and don't hesitate to get a second opinion and don't be afraid to walk away!

I just said this so they'd be extra careful. I had it detuned to stock and it never slipped. As soon as I get the car back the clutch is slipping 24/7 all the way through 3rd not even at1 psi. And I'm a broke college kid so now I have to deal with this. Drive it 4 hours with literally no clutch home and find out how to change it myself because shops in Nashville will charge 2k+ and now I can't drive it to my friends who could've done it for free. It'd be one thing if this was it but the last time I went I took my Toyota and they didn't have the decency to tell me before hand that cuz the tires are worn to this alignment it probably won't fix it. Due to my negligence they do it and I drive a away and it's still pulling to the right so I go back they flip the tires around twice and I leave with it worse then before and have to re rotate all the tires before driving home to how they were. Needless to say I'll never support them again in my life and I'd genuinely pay 2x myself and even pay the difference for other people to go somewhere else just by how wrong I feel I was done.
