We opted to wait til the next morning and Rene showed up at 6:30AM, replaced our AC unit's motor (quicker than expected), hosed down our unit, and offered great advice for maintenance and what to expect moving forward. Last time (a couple years ago), Flores also showed up quickly and repaired our unit, was so helpful and did a great job accommodating our budget as best as he could. Both experts felt safe and professional. With unbearable summer heat causing so many AC issues around the Valley, it can be hard to get someone to fix AC units to the house quickly, and they haven't disappointed yet. They've maintained our current unit well and have helped us to understand what it needs to keep going for many more years rather than treating it as disposable or pushing us to replace it. They did a big attic insulation project for us a few years ago that has completely changed our comfort in our 1950s home, 1000% worth it. They gave us lots of good advice and options for that project including correcting related/unrelated deficiencies from the prior installers. We've continued wth their plan for maintenance which has definitely been a good value for us. Matthew came out for our regular unit check this month and noted several issues that we didn't expect, but was able to address them same day very fairly, honestly, transparently. I appreciate his clear explanations of the deficiencies and the work done (with pictures!) so I don't have to get up on the roof too. It's a huge relief knowing our unit is now in good working order and not bound to fail on us in August.

Each salesperson would beat the other contractors quotes. Danette is the one who informed me to always look at the model numbers they are quoting you with. If you don't go with Coolzone if there's anything you read about this is read the description of work but the model number and see what they are trying to give you. These companies are trying to sell you the cheaper brand Example a new build carrier ac. It's a carrier but a new build brand, basically cheaper but if you want a true Carrier brand go off the carrier website and make sure you tell them you want the model number off the website. Anyways with Danette's information and honestly showed integrity. If you're liking Danette quotes and information then Dakota will follow up to do a walk around to see if there's any final touches before installation who is very knowledgeable and professional. No matter how expensive you buy a brand Trane Carrier or whatever the single most important thing in your investment is the INSTALLATION. The morning of installation Josh, Tom , and Tylor showed up on time and very professional and will always stop what they're doing to answer your questions. These guys showed up Approximately 730ish in the morning and stayed all the way until 730 at night to make sure the installation was superb. They would have stayed longer if I or customer wouldn't be happy. I'm a customer who likes small business contractors cuz these bigger ones have to make there money back from tv ads and commercials. So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

I asked him to let me know when he was on his way so I could notify her. Not only did he do that, but he notified me again before he knocked on the door to make sure he wasn't waking her up! The cleaning was textbook; he cleared the lint the size of a ball from the vent, did NO upselling, charged exactly what I was quoted and was done quickly. And my clothes now dry on the first load! I just bought this house so I'm sure they haven't been cleaned in ages (if ever), but King Air Duct Cleaning got us rolling again quickly! Thank you-would highly recommend!

Great experience! I actually got these guys by accident but it turned out to be the best case scenario in the long run. Long story short a/c was limping for the last two years and finally needed to be replaced. Bad news was the water damage under the existing unit (which we knew about) but was too far gone to repair with a new install. The new unit was put in a couple rafters over and the old duct and stand were left in place until we could get roofing work completed. We also had two vents in the house that hadn't blown air in the 17 years we've been in this house and turns out it was due to the vents being routed wrong with the previous evap removal prior to us moving in. We also ended up with new cold air returns being installed. What a huge difference in this house now! I ended up getting a couple new fully adjustable vent diffuser's so we don't cool the inside walls anymore. HUGE difference a new unit, the right duct routing and new vent diffuser's make! We ended up having to get a new roof too and had no trouble scheduling to have them come back out and demo the old duct and stand. They also removed an old evap cooler duct connection that was up there while they were at it. The owner is top notch, the crews are top notch and we are very happy with the way everything turned out. In a nutshell these guys are great and are definitely the best option! read more

Branden Orr is a gentleman who shows genuine care for his customers. In fact,this concern is reflected similarly in Lance,the technician representing Honest Air Duct Cleaning.. For example,we called upon Honest Air Duct Cleaning because we've had a sooty substance returning on our walls and in our carpets almost as fast as we can scrub,mop and vacuum.. My spouse and I had determined that filthy ducts were the cause of our problem.However,when Lance arrived this morning,the problem was diagnosed by Lance as secondary to a problem in our AC/Heating system. As a result, our building techs will dismantle the unit tomorrow,and, most likely,a leaky capacitor is the culprit,.according to the technical supervisor. of our residential complex. Our supervisor had words of praise for Honest Air Duct Cleaning and for Lance, the man sent by Brandon to help us. I bought an old house that built completely the wrong way from the ground up. One of the kinks of this house was that the balance of air flow between different sides of the house was intense. One side of the house was like a frozen tundra and other side a barren desert wasteland. I called Honest and explained my issue. The company was responsive and the crew came out the next day. They were professional, courteous and seemed to operate with integrity which is not something you see much any more these days. They were done in less than 20 minutes and explained that the boneheads that installed the new AC a year ago didn't replace the ducting or the elbow into the roof with one that would handle the increased airflow of a bigger AC. They gave me a ballpark which seemed very reasonable considering the work that needed to be done. Every step of the Alex in the office was checking in to make sure that things were going smoothly. Branden cleaned my vents very well. I can look up into them and see the ducts now. Branden even pointed out the vents were positioned wrong and he reposition the slats of the old vents so that air would flow in the direction I need. He got on the roof and cleaned my dryer vent as well. Truth is I would have liked to see the lint he said was in there as he does not vaccum it. He gets it out another way and he could have showed it to me to make me feel good about paying the extra cost. There is no way to know if your dryer vent is clogged unless you get on the roof and see the clog when they take it out. I guess you have to trust. I did not ask to see it. I knew about the extra cost ahead of time. Alex, who answered the phone was very clear about what they would do and how much the services are. He was patient and professional and I asked a lot of questions. Nor he or Branden tried to sell me anything extra. read more

Just remodeled our home and wanted to clean the air ducts before we moved back in. Looked to Yelp for a referral and found Honest Air Duct . I found everything to be true that had been stated in the previous reviews and more. Lance was professional, courteous and did a great job! Additionally, the next day I had my new washer and dryer delivered and the installer said I should have my dryer vent cleaned so that the dryer would work properly. I called Honest Air and asked them to come back and clean the dryer vent. They told me that since they had just been there, they would not charge me their minimum, but would only charge for cleaning the dryer vent and a $10 trip charge. When they got there, they found the vent Was clean and vented to the outside - no charge! Amazing!!! Wish all companies were this honest and professional. I highly recommend them! read more

If I could give ten stars, I would! A/C went out around 830am while we were out, found out when we came home at 11am to 86 degrees in the house. I got online to find a reputable company to repair it, and I got a quick email response from Brandon, the owner. He said they could get the tech way out to the far west valley between 1pm and 3 pm. There were a couple other jobs ahead of me, but it would be fixed the same day. Giovanni, the A/C service tech, had it fixed in less than one hour of his arrival! We had a big job and the team came in and got the job done in one day. The tech did a great job of putting up plastic to protect all our furniture and equipment so the duct cleaning was without alot of residual dust or dirt. And he cleaned up behind himself. We had new duct work installed and new registers installed with air strips. The air in the building is now balanced so that it is cool throughout. The air smells so fresh and clean. It's hard to find really honest company's of any sort. This one is by far one of the best duct cleaning company's I have ever dealt with. Chris was the young man that came out and really knew what he was talking about. Let me say Bryan was the first one I spoke to and has Great customer service hands down. Within two minutes he called back and said someone would be out between 2 and 4. Around 1:00 (An early arrival is always nice) Rick showed up, knew the problem almost before he went up in the attic. Like other reviewers, I chose this company due to their high online review scores. Not disappointed. No upsell, no telling us we need to have them back out in 6 months, quote was equal to what they told me over the phone, etc. Turnaround time was a week from the time I called to them performing the cleaning. Cleaning time was fast and they arrived during the specified window. I am sure the previous homeowner had never had the ducts or drier vent cleaned so it was not an easy job either, but cost was the same as quoted. Highly recommended. read more

These guys were great. I called inquiring on duct cleaning. They explained all the services they offer as well as the Prices associated with each service. I elected to have my entire unit cleaned as well air ducts for $475. They showed up in the time window they provided. Did the Work and my allergies have all but gone away (while I'm inside my home at least). I plan on having them install an air purification unit on my house as well as soon as the holidays are over. I purchased an extended warranty through Adam's refrigeration for the compressor, and now that I'm over a year of being in this home, I used that warranty to have a new compressor installed with Adam's refrigeration. Came back to us and let us know the unit was 16 years old! He explained in detail what repairs needed to be made and what that would cost in relation to a new unit. He even personally called the home warranty company to negotiate the buy-out price on our behalf right on site. We discussed financing options (they have a few). We ultimately decided to replace the entire unit. The installation team came out at 6:30 am, just 48 hours after making our decision. Brian and Oscar were so polite and professional. Once the new unit was installed, they came in and even fixed our thermostat mounting that had come loose. Shortly after the new unit was running...it quit. They came in to tell us the bad news, BUT they had a new unit on the way, and they stayed on-site the entire time. The new unit arrived and was installed quickly. Cody had been very responsive during the entire process. These guys were great! They went through every detail and completed the job with a smile. :)

He didn't just give me a quote; he took the time to explain the ins and outs of my home's insulation, sharing his expertise so I actually understood what was needed and why. It's rare to find someone so willing to educate their customers! On top of the great education, the price was extremely reasonable. I was also happy to learn that they handle Air Conditioning as well, making them a great one-stop shop for home comfort. He walked me through what he was doing, let my dog hangout with us and made me feel comfortable. I don't love strangers in my home, but Mike even reminded me to lock my door on his way out as he is a girl dad himself. We need more people like Mike! I have missed my cool air, especially in The Arizona heat, and he had it up and running within an hour. Will absolutely be going with Mike again and recommending him to friends and family going forward.

I called on a Saturday to schedule a service and "Chelsea" answered the phone, she was so professional and kind. Customer Service is not what it used to be, but "Chelsea" showed that their company values its customers. The service tech "Ryan" showed up on time, introduced himself, in a uniform that assured me he was with the company and immediately started working on our AC. Ryan went over in detail what he found that needed repaired, our AC is 33 years old, so we expected there was going to be issues. There was NO upselling or pressure sales tactics with Ryan's discussion. Thank you Ryan, Chelsea and Mountain Peak Air for the quality service! I would recommend them to friends & family.

Our kitchen sink was not draining correctly and we searched for someone who could come out right…read moreaway at a fair price. The ladies in the office were fantastic over the phone. They had someone out in 2 hours from Tempe to Scottsdale. The gentleman technician who came out was extremely professional. He thought we might need a Hydro Clean in the pipes. He diagnosed it as a soft blockage. He quoted a price if we did need the Hydro Cleaning. He did not have the Hydro machine on his van and arranged for other technicians to be out at 8am the next morning. 2 great guys in 2 vehicles and a trailer showed up at 8. They tried less expensive methods first and were able to remove a core from the pipe about the size of a Hot Dog. They were here a couple hours, cleaned everything up as best they could, and charged us $800.00 LESS than the original Hydro Cleaning quote. We will call this company first for Plumbing and Air work from now on.

The price was fair for the job they had to do, getting up in the attic to run water lines. I gave them both huge commendations for a job well done' Well, now we get to today. Yesterday I called to have a kitchen faucet installed. When I did I told them because Gabriel did such a great job, that's the only plumber I wanted to come out. Told this to two people and they said yes ok. Then this morning I get a call from Raul, not Gabriel and he said he's the tech coming out. I asked him to call his supervisor because that isn't what I had requested. The supervisor calls me and explains that Gabriel is running a crew now for bigger jobs. I simply said no one told me that yesterday. This gave me pause in hiring them to come out but in the end I said to send Raul. The faucet I had bought didn't have a part needed so I went and got another one from Home Depot, gone about 30 minutes while he was getting the parts for the drain part. I had all the drain fixtures already but Raul didn't like the kit I had and recommended the abs ones they have, I said sure but I would like to know the charge for those parts, It could be $50, it could be $300, therre is a difference. Anyway he wrote up a quote and I was in shock to be honest at the total. I made a mistake and told him to do the job all the time knowing this was a huge charge. When he got done I asked him to send me an itemized statement with those parts charges. I just got a invoice with a total on it. $896 to install one kitchen faucet. I looked on the internet for installation charges when the customer supplied the faucet and with a simple one hole faucet, Here is what you find when you look it up, Kitchen Faucet Replacement in Phoenix, AZ costs $175-$556 in 2026, with most homeowners paying around $366. That's about 4% below the national average (BLS cost index: 0.96). Licensed plumbers in the Phoenix-Mesa-Chandler metro charge $55-$100/hour. 45 minutes to 1.5 hours per faucet. , So you do the math. And adding insult to injury, I called the office to talk to a supervisor about this and waited around an hour. Then I did like they say if you aren't happy, call the CEO. No answer but left a voicemail and as soon as I hung up, within 30 seconds was a call from the supervisor, pretty coincidental right, lol. I thought I had found a pllumbing company that I could trust to do a simple job for a fair price, I didn't and if money is no object to all of you, good luck and hire them for your plumbing needs. I don't mind paying for a job well done, but I don't like getting raked over the coals in being over charged.
