I told LaShonda what I needed and she was quick with some general questions to better understand my needs. She drove myself and my daughter to the unit while continuing with details. Very informative but also efficient. My 7 year old was with me and I appreciate LaShonda patience the entire time. We ended renting a 10x10 but I also asked for a bottom unit. Lashonda was quick to look up availability and found some potential move out units near my expected move in date. The entire transaction was approximately 45 minutes but it felt faster. Happy we stopped by and the reviews from Yelp certainly lived up to its expectations. I will update after we move in our stuff.

Literal scam. Been…read morewith the company for years, and our rate goes up every 6 months or so, and that in itself is fine; inflation and all that. However, we're renting a 10' x 10', upstairs unit for $230+ a month; yet on the website, right now, the EXACT SAME unit is only $180 a month. I called and asked corporate and this location both, and they claimed that the $180 is a "promotional rate". Yet I went all the way to the point of almost signing the contract with an existing account, and despite what they claimed, the rate is STILL $180 per month. The contract itself makes no mention of a "promotional rate" or anything else of that sort. Talking to the in-person office, I got an actual response that made more sense and was more honest than the corporate offices; they said the lower rate is to "make the units more attractive to new customers", which is ridiculous because that's effectively punishing existing, long-time customers. I brought this up to them and they said it's like renting an apartment, except when you rent an apartment, you pay LESS over time than NEW tenants do, because you get grandfathered in on a rate; this is the other way around. On top of that, they said it could be breaking the lease by "abusing promotions" (again even though that rate is NOT a promotion, it's the same rate new and existing customers would get for a new unit), if I were to just switch to the exact same unit for the same size. They eventually gave us a discount for 6 months for $50 or so, but this all but admits that they ARE overcharging us to give us such a discount so willingly. Do not rent from this company, unless you have multiple family members and friends willing to help you swap units to their "promotional" rate every 6 or so months.

I've suffered a traumatic brain injury therefore things such as payment, especially when I've had to cancel credit cards escape me reoccurring payments. They are always so kind to call me and remind me. The other day, my truck was broken into all of my cards were stolen, and Andre went way his way to call me and ask if there was could do to help. Let me know how many days I had before a late charge was going to be incurred. Even followed up later in the day at the time that I requested and called me to assist me in filling out the paperwork that I was able to pay my storage with. He sent me paperwork to where I could put it through my bank account because I no longer had access to any credit cards or my bank card and I'm currently in Mexico when this happened. Without that I would've had late fees. always so personable and so helpful when I forget they'll send follow up emails and they'll call and remind me. As a person with ADA issues, I am ever so grateful when I can find a business that has the courtesy and the understanding that San Diego self has shown me over the last two years. As for the facility, it's clean knee which is definitely helpful during the summer when I'm moving things in and out. Thank you, Andre and thank you San Diego self Storage. You definitely deserve five star rating!

My experience has been a…read morenightmare due to their poor management, inadequate equipment, and dishonest billing practices. 1. Facility Negligence and Flood Damage: After only a week of renting, a pipe burst, causing a massive flood in my unit. Nearly all my belongings--including my television, mattress, magazines, notes, and a wooden-framed wedding photo--were soaked and had to be discarded. Instead of taking accountability, management tried to hide evidence by avoiding email communication and only using phone calls. They acted as if allowing me to transfer to another unit was a favor, while offering zero compensation for my destroyed property. 2. Additional Financial Burden: Due to this flood, my movers had to spend an extra 1.5 hours re-packing and moving my items. This cost me an additional $180 ($120/hour) out of pocket, not to mention the income I lost from missing work due to the delay. They also claimed they "offered" free boxes to help, which is a lie--no one mentioned this, and I had to pay the moving company for supplies myself. 3. Insurance Evasion: I paid for their insurance for May. When the flood occurred on May 28th, they refused to process my claim, forcing me to use my own policy despite the fact that I had already paid for theirs. They essentially took my money for coverage they refused to honor when I actually needed it. 4. Deceptive Billing and Predatory Price Hikes: Their pricing is a trap. I was promised a two-month 50% promotional discount, but they charged me the full amount for June anyway. Most outrageously, by the fifth month, they suddenly increased my rent from $152 to $220/month. I later spoke to an elderly tenant who also complained about being blindsided by these sudden, aggressive price hikes. Do not be fooled by their website prices. This company is unprofessional, unreliable, and predatory. Save yourself the stress and financial loss--look elsewhere for storage.

The movers were one hour late and took a lunch after one hour of work. The movers left before we did and told me that they were heading directly to the storage unit. When I got there, the movers weren't there. I was waiting for them at the storage facility while they were eating lunch. I don't think I should be paying for their lunch time after an hour of work. They quickly unloaded my belongings and refused to rearrange everything as I originally requested...use minimal space so I could add to the storage unit later. They told me that things would be easy for ME to move when the time came. I asked them twice and gave up. Then, I get the bill. I was charged an additional $400 for moving 2 dressers because they considered them heavy. I read the pre-move agreement and they should have notified me of the additional charge. Instead, I was surprised with a bill that was over the estimate because of them charging me for lunch time and two pieces of furniture that they considered over 350 lbs.

First of all I want to express how thankful I am for The Rock Movers…read more Being a full-service moving company, I needed someone to help me pack AND move due to a recent injury crippling me right before I was scheduled to move. Their reliability and ease of setting up the packing and move when I was not even able to be present and the timing was truly helpful. It was more expensive than I had ever paid for movers, even without the packing, and that's honestly why I could not give them full 5 stars. As a military member going through an honorable discharge to help my family in crisis while already injured myself, I had to empty out my own savings and my children's I had saved up over a 9-month deployment in the combat zone to move back to my family when they needed my help, not even sure if I could then provide for them. So while I really thank them for the job they did, I never financially recovered from that and I do ask Rock Movers to consider the vets or military members in San Diego and to complete a weight estimate for them to be reimbursed.

I just have to share my amazing experience with this top-notch moving company and the incredible team who made my move a breeze - Nikita, Elon, and Amir. Honestly, I wish I could give them 6 stars because they truly went above and beyond in every possible way. Right from the start, the team was extremely responsive and attentive. Elon, who handled the initial call, patiently answered all my questions and provided the information I needed. What really blew me away, though, was their willingness to help when another moving company cancelled on me at the last minute. With just a day's notice, they came to the rescue and saved the day. The level of professionalism and attention to detail they showed was absolutely exceptional. My move was from San Diego to Irvine, not an easy move by any means and plenty of different sized items to move. They carefully wrapped each piece of furniture, making sure that every item, big or small, was well protected. I was so impressed by the care they put into their work; it felt like they were treating my belongings as if they were their own. Throughout the entire process, I couldn't help but feel a genuine sense of appreciation for their dedication and commitment to making my move as smooth as possible. It's not often you find this kind of customer service, especially in the moving industry. The really great thing about this company (especially in this industry) is their honest pricing. My situation was tough because due to unexpected extended business travel I had to make a quick move out of my apartment in La Jolla to go to Europe for almost a year. Like Movers found a convenient widow for my move to just next day from me calling them! Two amazing movers handled everything with care, packed it neatly and loaded my whole apartment onto a truck with super fast speed. I have touched literally nothing!!! I didn't have time to pack and they packed EVERYTHING! Then, they stored everything for me for whole 11 months. Fast-forward to yesterday they came and moved everything for me to a new place in Carlsbad (which btw is a long drive from LJ). They were on time, called way in advance and moved everything in lightning speed. Nothing got damaged, not even a single scratch. I've been using multiple moving and storage companies over the years. The experience I had with Like Movers the first time and then yesterday was mind-blowing. Fast, cheap, efficient, excellent communication, easy payment, great and polite movers. All my stuff looks exactly like when I left it before storage. I am usually not writing any reviews, but this time I just have to. Overall, they did a great job! Mike gave an in-home estimate for my move and it was extremely fair and accurate. Due to the closing of one home and closing of another, my move had to be done in two stages. The first day, Alec, Sergei and Marat arrived promptly and spent the day carefully, efficiently and respectfully boxed the contents of my house. They used all of the boxes and wrapping paper I had provided first so as to minimize my cost when purchasing the extra boxes they supplied. They provided the wardrobe boxes free of charge so I could pack all of my hanging clothes the following few days (with the return of the wardrobe boxes to be done after I got to my new home). A week later, Nick, Sergei and Marat arrived to load the boxes on the truck and get me moved 100 miles away. Again, they arrived promptly and were incredibly helpful, efficient and pleasant. They moved all of my stuff, including a piano and grandmother clock with great care and all arrived safe and sound at my new home. Due to traffic and other factors, moving day was very long. But Mike had given me a "not to exceed" estimate of cost and he was true to his word. And when I was accidentally charged twice for some of the boxes and wrapping supplies, he caught the discrepancy quickly and refunded me for the double charge. read more

We moved about 50 miles north of our old house this past Saturday and chose Like Movers based on Yelp reviews. We were extremely impressed with their service! They arrived on time, worked hard and efficiently, and took great care in securely wrapping, packing and loading our furniture. Nick, Marat and Ruslan we're all very polite and respectful. Once everything was loaded, Nick walked us through the house to check that everything we expected them to move had been loaded on to the truck. They showed the same professional level of care in unloading furniture and boxes once they arrived at our new house. All this at a very fair and reasonable cost. We are giving Like Movers the full five star rating, but if Yelp allowed for a potential ten stars, we would give the full ten stars. We were that pleased! We had the best moving experience with Like Movers this month, starting with the business manager, Jeff, who is a great communicator and patiently answered all my questions. Bek, Mussa, and Panyar showed up right on time on moving day and quickly and efficiently loaded the truck with our pre-packed boxes and furniture, including a 7 ft x 5 ft mirror that we were a little worried about (but didn't need to be because they wrapped it so well!). They were polite, respectful, and most importantly, extremely careful with our belongings. We were quoted 5-7 hours with 3 men and a truck, and the move took 5 hrs 15 minutes, so that was great with us. The first good sign: when I first requested a quote, I got a very prompt response. After that we were able to schedule my move from a 4 bedroom, 2 story home to Riverside with just a weeks notice and they were very communicative the whole lead up. Upon arrival Nick, Sergei, Ruslan and another gentlemen I cannot remember his name (sorry!) were extremely professional and kind. Quick packing, while being careful with the delicate objects was much appreciated. The loading took almost exactly four hours and the unpacking took exactly two. So far, so good with no damaged items found! Most importantly my 77" OLED tv made it without a scratch! Could not recommend this company, and this team of guys, enough! I called to plan for our move and spoke to Elon. He listened carefully and answered all my questions very patiently. We scheduled the move and I received everything in writing. I received a notice confirming and another one the day before the move. The morning of the move I got a call from Merey saying he and his team are on their way. He, Ruslan, and Marat arrived on time and were extremely friendly. They worked quickly but very carefully, packing and wrapping everything to avoid any damage. They never so much as bumped a wall or anything else packing, leaving our old apartment or moving into the new one which was two stories. From the moment we connected with Elon, until our last box was put down, they were amazing. Working with us to get the right / exact quote, respectful of our belongings and our home, hard working, focused, and with a super-nice attitude made our move go smoothly. Two weeks ago I hired Like Movers for a move from San Diego to Los Angeles. I spoke with Mike several times in preparation for the move and he was very patient in answering all of my questions. Mike showed a lot of concern for getting everything set up just right. Everything Mike said would be done was done. His 2 men, Artur and his father Ruslan, showed up exactly on schedule and worked diligently and efficiently. They asked anytime they had a question about an item. We left before they were ready to leave and they showed up as I would have expected, about 2 1/2 hrs later in Los Angeles. On the unloading end, they both again worked efficiently and carefully. This is the SECOND time I've used their service and both times I have had incredible service. They are professional, arrive on time ready to work , efficient and very neat. They have you sign an agreeement on price before work is started which I love - there's no questions. The guys worked so hard loading a uhaul pod up , so playing Tetris with all my stuff. I really didn't think all my stuff would fit and they loaded it so nicely that I even had extra room! They disassembled my furniture with their own tools and even Saran wrapped my stuff to keep it from scratching. Positive energy and smiling during this job! 100 stars if possible. Moved from San Diego to San Luis Obispo, with a stop at a storage unit first and then on to the house. They did it all in about 12 hours. They were so careful with my things and then performed actual magic to fill the storage unit and the garage. They also moved a new king sized mattress in and moved the old queen size out with no complaints down a staircase and tight hallways. They were on time, polite, fast, friendly, and communicative. They were also the only moving company that sent me a quote with a reasonable price instead of doubling it or adding on extra fees like several other companies when I called to ask more specific questions. read more

They powered through a ridiculous amount of furniture, boxes, patio insanity, Giant couches, an enormous treadmill, and other exercise equipment, and a variety of unpacked nonsense. They were respectful, careful with everything... they not once touched a wall or stair rail. I've never been more impressed by movers. And they were amazingly cheerful through it all. The moving crew: Alec, Sergey, Yuri, and AJ were efficient, careful, friendly. It took them all day to move my parents from their 5 bedroom home in SD to Hemet, with 2 drop off locations. We moved out of our place and enlisted Like Movers to move all of our stuff. They arrived within our scheduled window, moved all of our things very carefully and were very professional. Pretty much all moving companies charge the same, so you should really base your decision on others reviews. My move took 5 hours and the guys didn't stop moving for one minute. Zero complaints from them ( even though they had to go up and down 3 flights of stairs), and had the best attitudes. Zero damage done to any of my furniture and they took so much care and attention to unpacking everything like it was before. I will definitely be using them for my next move! read more

I recently used Like Movers, and I can't recommend them enough. Marat and Paul were amazing--super friendly, professional, and really careful with all my stuff. They arrived on time and got everything done quickly and efficiently. They managed to move my 238lbs marble table and 70in flat screen TV, along with other valuables, without a scratch. Not a single item was damaged or mishandled; everything arrived intact. Marat and Paul made the whole process stress-free with their great attitude and professionalism. Our experience with Like Movers was fantastic. From quoting the job with Jeff to completion of the move, everything went as smoothly and efficiently as possible. They were the only company willing to jump on the project with a very short notice. The best part of all was working with Sam and his crew. They were extremely attentive to details and took great care to wrap and protect everything. They were just a pleasure to work with. However - it was 90 degrees when they started at 9am and it only got hotter and more humid over the course of the morning/early afternoon. The team arrived on time and ready to get to work. While the origin home had a driveway that can easily be described as "steep," the new home's driveway makes the old one look like a tiny, gentle slope. It is so steep, the truck could not back up the driveway at all - the metal step on the back hung up on the concrete right at the bottom. It is also LONG: Maurice and TC now had to carry all of my stuff up that driveway, stage it in a flat area, and then carry it the rest of the way up a slightly lesser slope around the side and back of the house, of equal distance to the driveway, that finally lead to my door. It was not a good time. These two men were incredible - absolutely wonderful. They took excellent care of my stuff, yes, but they were also incredibly friendly and professional, had excellent, positive attitudes, and never complained once. They joked about it in a very good-natured way. I kept them supplied with cold drinks and cold, damp towels to make sure they survived the insane heat and hard work, encouraged them to take breaks, et cetera: They were working so hard, I was genuinely concerned for their well-being, but they are strapping young lads and persevered where I would have 100% perished. They were so kind about the miserable conditions. Their good humor and amazing work ethic got us all through the experience. Yes, we ran over our time estimate, but none of us realized the driveway was impassible for the truck, and that multiplied the work by easily a factor of 10 in this heat. I tipped them both $100 and wish I could've given them twice that - they more than earned it. Thank you, Team! You were great! I absolutely recommend Packman, and especially Maurice and TC - A+!
