    Bad spark plug

Had a terrible experience here the 2nd time I had my car serviced. A couple of weeks ago, I had my car serviced for oil change, tune up, suspension, and a couple more maintenance items. So it's a significant amount of money that I am paying. The job was finished in about 5 hours. Upon getting the car back, the owner told me that they noticed some vibrations which he suspects is a misfire. I did not personally experience any misfire while owning the car, and most importantly, did not have symptoms when I brought it to their shop. I decided to just take the car and observe what he was saying. A few days after, I inspected my intake tube was cracked and transmission breather hose detached from the firewall. I thought maybe I should just address these and perhaps the intake tube is the culprit of the misfire-like symptoms. Changed it, same symptoms. Finally, about 2 weeks after, I got a P0306 code, which means cyl 6 detected a misfire. Changed the coil myself, no help. I did not want to inspect nor change the plugs since I did not want to void any warranties on their end. Brought the car to their shop to inform them about the issue and I said that I suspect that the plugs are bad. Alex said it was all working properly. He switched the 5 & 6 coils to eliminate the possibility of the coil being the culprit. A few hours later, got the same code. I was told by Alex that I will be needing a valve adjustment to fix the issue. Brought it back the following week to have my valves adjusted. A couple of hours later, I was told that they did not continue with the valve adjustment and they did a compression test instead. They said that cylinder 6 had low compression. Gave me 2 options: (1) rebuild the engine (2) buy a new engine. I told him that I will have to think about it since it is a big decision that involves a lot of money. After a few days, with all fault codes cleared, I noticed that the CEL showed that I now have a P0305. Which means cylinder 5 is now the issue. I finally made a decision to inspect the plugs myself since it's basically a rebuild or a new engine for me anyway. Upon removal of the plug in cylinder 5, I noticed that it had a long hairline crack and looks in a real bad shape. Replaced it myself and the misfiring and rough idle is now gone. Misdiagnosed? Check! Rebuild engine X New engine X Dishonest? Check! Called to ask for reimbursement for the plugs and was told that they do not do that, only offered store credit. I had a good feeling about this shop before, but after this incident, I would say that they do not act and perform as good as the name of their company. Never going back.

I don't like to write reviews, but this one I have to spend time to write, because they are so good, I been coming here for 5+ years, once u get here, u won't want to find other place to change ur oil or do maint somewhere else. U can have trust on them, they give u reasonable prices with detail how much they spend on ur parts, they are also super friendly too, not going to give u faces. They going to check ur light and air filler and other stuff for u, I fix my car changer for changing my iphone, it only cost 5 bucks, how can I compare this price to other shop, none. This is the best one u can find in local around Rowland Heights.

Good service, the technician Mr. Alex is very nice. But the waiting area is like an abandoned room. Especially the dirty chairs.

Victor and his son run a friendly, family-owned business, and their customer service is excellent. They provided an immediate diagnosis, followed up quickly with the price quote and expected completion time, and estimated about two hours for the repair. To my surprise, they finished even earlier than expected -- and they actually reduced the final cost because the work was completed ahead of schedule. That kind of honesty and customer-first service really stands out. It was also clear that they have a lot of longtime customers who trust them, and I can now understand why. I'm happy to say I've become one of those customers myself. Great work, fair pricing, excellent communication, and genuinely friendly people. **Overall, a great experience and a business I'm very comfortable recommending!**

They replaced my intake manifold gasket, BUT a P0200 engine code appeared afterward. I went back the next day and explained the issue. They told me they had left an injector unplugged and instructed me to clear the code, saying it would reset. The code was P0200, so I followed their instructions and cleared it. The code went away. The next day, I drove the car and it suddenly started shaking while sitting at red lights -- something it had never done in the five years I've owned this car. I checked the engine codes again, and P0200 had returned. I went back again and explained what I had experienced. They then told me that, in order to address the P0200 issue, they would first have to start by checking for vacuum leaks. This is where I became frustrated. P0200 is an injector circuit malfunction code, so I didn't understand why I was being told that I needed to start with vacuum leaks in order to address that specific code. I had already paid $500 for the initial service, and now I was dealing with a new engine code and a new shaking issue that the car had never had in the five years I've owned it. After declining any further service, I picked up my car from the shop. I then noticed a scratch along with a missing piece of rubber trim on my front bumper. I had not noticed either issue before bringing my car to the shop. The shop claimed they did not hit anything with the car, but they are also ordering me a replacement rubber piece. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience. As a first-time customer, I came in expecting to have my original issue addressed, paid $500 for the service, and left with a new engine code, a new shaking issue, and damage/missing trim that I had not noticed before bringing the car in. Based on my experience, I won't be returning. I would recommend that anyone considering this shop be aware of what happened to me and carefully inspect their vehicle before leaving the shop.
