Exceptional service from start to finish. I came in for a routine oil change and tire rotation,…read moreexpecting a quick maintenance visit, and that's exactly what I received--fast, professional service at a very reasonable price. What surprised me was the team's attention to detail. They noticed that my air conditioning wasn't performing as well as it should and tracked down the issue without me even mentioning it. Even better, they fixed the problem at no additional cost. Driving away, the difference was immediately noticeable. The car felt refreshed, the air conditioning was blowing cold again, and I had the peace of mind that everything had been looked over by technicians who genuinely care about their work. It's not often you find a shop that goes beyond the service you paid for simply because it's the right thing to do. Thank you for the outstanding experience--I will definitely be back.

I had my A/C "repaired" at the AAMCO on INA Rd in Tucson. Three days later it was down again. I was…read moreon a business trip so went to AAMCO thinking that when I was back in town in Phoenix that I could trust a reputable national chain like AAMCO. I went to four different shops here in town & nobody would honor the warranty on my $400 repair. The best offer I received was for $600 they would redo teh work correctly. I reached out to AAMCO corporate board of directors & finally received a response form a Jacquline who played word games & explained why they won't back their work. For a Company that says it's Mantra is "We put the care back in car care." Its a disgusting lie. Then when they say "Every customer deserves a Warranty" it is straight up false advertising. The Ina Road store was the original rip off & none of the stores in the Phoenix metro area or corporate could care less. My A/C is still broken & no one cares so do yourself a favor & steer clear of AAMCO.

Since then, we've brought all our vehicles here from an oil change, maintenance, or general auto repairs and every experience has reinforced why we keep coming back. Most recently, my son's car had a transmission issue and also needed some additional work. Patrick was wonderful! Always respectful and patient, taking the time to explain everything so we felt comfortable and informed. Ray, Graves, and the rest of the team made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. The mechanic who worked on his car did an outstanding job, and we truly appreciate the skill and attention to detail. It's rare to find a shop where everyone is honest, caring, and genuinely invested in their customers. We feel lucky to have found AASTRO Transmissions & Auto Repair and wouldn't trust our cars with anyone else. Highly recommend!

All were 40-50% more than the estimated average according to chat gpt. Then once I finally go to pay for the final repair, they have added about $100 extra charges for 'shop materials' and other miscellanious fees. Why those weren't in the original estimate, I could never say, but it sure left me with the feeling that these guys are dishonest and sleazy. I've given them 2 separate repairs now, both times had similiar experiences. They tend to blame their behavior on 'corporate' and 'all repair shops charge these fees' and yet the others will include them (if they have them at all) in the orginal estimate instead of surprise fees at pickup. I highly suggest you avoid these people, very poor business practices.

Almost 2 weeks for what was proposed as a 2 day job. Halfway through the 2 week wait, I was told they had a lot of other cars & big jobs ahead of me. Is it possible to hire more technicians at this facility? After running their diagnostic test, I was told I needed a new fuel pump and a new fuel filter because my car was not priming properly upon startup. I believe this, because prior to dropping off my car, I did notice a 30 second delay before my car would turn over.I did have a new battery installed but that was unrelated. Eddie told me when I picked up my car on Jan13 that the new fuel pump& fuel filter "had fixed the problem... They had "repeatedly test started my car several times, it primed correctly within 3-5 seconds and I would have no further problems. But if I did, then call them & they'd look at it again to fix it at no cost to me." They also told me I needed a new serpentine belt, & they installed a new one. Eddie said on Jan13 that they had "test driven the car, and "the new belt was working great" & that "I would have no problems with the belt either". Not true. The new belt has continued to squeal loudly when I start the car, and at other times when I stop at a stoplight or stop sign. I am very disappointed. It makes me wonder, did they actually put in the 3 new parts? And if so, what was the quality of those parts? Were they OE? I notified this shop the very day I picked up my car on Jan13 (after I noticed the problems & issues driving home). I have also called several times since then. I was told they are still backed up with other customers cars. I did schedule another appointment to take my car back to this shop on Jan 28. Hopefully the problems will be rectified immediately and at no cost to me as promised in my warranty. I was hoping perhaps a different technician (not Alan) could take a look at my car and do the repairs or adjustments needed since it appears he (Alan) initially did not do them correctly. However, when I spoke to Eddie,he (Eddie) stated that is not an option for me... that Alan (the initial tech) needs to be the tech to do the followup. Is this standard procedure? Please advise. Thank you!
