Spend a bunch of money there and they still want to upcharge me for everything they can. Was quoted 857 for 3 services yesterday and I called today to make the appointment and all of a sudden it's like 1200 dollars. How does that even work?? After speaking with Dan and sharing that my 2006 a 4Runner AC was blowing cold at a temperature of 40 degrees. I mentioned that I would like to see if I could get it to 35. He then shared that he had a vehicle that was the same age with the same problem but that his vehicle's air stopped blowing cold and was blowing hot. I shared "that doesn't sound like the same problem" however he assured me that he could get my air to blow colder. I proactively took my 4Runner in to his shop two days later on Saturday 8/3//24. I waited most of the day for him to complete the mission, only to have him try unsuccessfully three times before with the temperature reaching near 100 degrees inside the cabin before he then says " I'll have to keep it longer to figure out the problem ". I had to CALL HIM two days later ( he didn't call me) to learn that they were still trying to figure out the issue. I complained to him that it had been far too long that he had my vehicle and that if he couldn't fix it just admit it! as I would take it some place else! I expressed that I would have to stop working and come and get my vehicle, which would be another inconvenience. He ring me a few hours later and said that it was ready and fixed and that he would have someone bring it. A lady brought my vehicle and as she was handing me the keys she complained about the steering wheel being so hot. I responded to her with "well it was sitting at your shop for the last to days not covered, so it should be hot" Through the entire mess, no one apologized and I was charged $234.23 for this shop and yet I have to now take it to another shop fix the AC because now it's fluctuating from 50 to 65°F! I will NEVER use this shop again and I will tell everyone that I know to not go there under any circumstance. read more

I have used Quality Lube and Tune off and on for 18 years. Over the last 3 weeks or so, I have lost all confidence in their service. I took my recently purchased used car in for what felt like was the transmission slipping when taking off from a stop. After checking it out, I was given a quote of $1700 for parts and labor. Picked it up a couple of days later, and the car had the exact same slippage problem! Did they not take it for a test drive? I took it back, and the owner was there. He made a copy of my receipt and promised to make it right. I brought the car back the next day, then got a call indicating more research was done, and I could pick up the vehicle. I thought the problem had been corrected. When I picked it up, I was given 12 pages of the latest research. I was given the number of a mobile mechanic. What? I called the number twice and received no response. Now I am left with a car with a slipping tranny, and I am out $1700. So, how is that for making it right? I'm headed to Klipper Automotive tomorrow. read more

I've been bringing my card in here for years and have never had an issue. Always quick turnaround times and the parts and labor they do is top of the line. Always satisfied with the things that they fix especially air conditioning, always a great job is done. The only "con" is pricing, I never really enjoy bringing my car into any shop, however, compared to other auto shops out there I have seen Quality Lube and Tune has the best pricing. Bringing my cars in for things that I am unable to fix makes life easy and despite the steep cost of labor nowadays they are still the most competitive out there. read more

Daughter-in-law dropped off her JK for a alignment. Just finished up a Rubi axle swap and new adjustable trailing arms. Took 3 days of phone calls to get them to respond even though she had made a appointment for a simple alignment. They left her Jeep outside to rot and then proceed to tell her a line of BS. Never offered a written estimate. Just a hand written list on someone else's letter head. One item on their list was new ball joints. The ball joints were just replaced with fully adjustable American made joints. Really? We still doing this to people.Tried to take advantage of her. read more

Stay away from these crooks!!! My elderly father had his car towed in for a simple power steering hose leak. Quality Lube and Tune took advantage of an 87 year old Veteran. 1. My father was quoted a much lower price than he was charged when he picked up the car. He was lied to and over charged by Nathan, the manager. 2. The shop initially had the car for two weeks for the simple repair, so my father had to rent a car to get to doctor's appointments. 3. The car had the same problem when he picked it up and barely made it home, so he had to have it towed back to the shop (towing is expensive). 4. The shop had the car for an additional week. My father had to beg to get his car back. Over three weeks total to repair a hose. WTH? 5. The shop did not refund the cost for parts and labor for installing parts that were not needed and did not fix the original problem. No offer to make it right was ever made. read more

I had picked up a really big bolt in my tire in the same shopping center so I carefully made my way over and I am so happy I did! All the guys (Jeremy, Dan and Evan) were so helpful they plugged my tire at no charge, but because I use my car for work and drive a lot I asked about new tires and was pleasantly surprised at the cost and decided to go for it , they did have to order them and it was closing time but they said they would be there in the morning and they were first thing so I went over and they had everything done so quickly (again pleasantly surprised) I will definitely be going back and will recommend these guys anytime I get a chance. read more

Called late in the afternoon to get quotes for an oil change for two cars, price was better than all other places I called. Staff was friendly and said they had no wait at the moment so we brought both cars in and had oil changes done in about an hour. They also let us know the the car tires were pretty low so they topped it off. Customer service goes a long way for me and theirs was on point. Definitely will be returning for all my maintenance needs. read more

As a follow-up... The old odometer rolled around and it was time for a Transmission flush and service. Quality Lube and tune was the last place I PAID to have the transmission serviced, and that occasion was the first time after having paid someone else for a $1700.00 transmission overhaul. The person that I just this week had do this last service informed me that this transmission had NOT been serviced since its overhaul because he found material in the pan that ONLY comes from an overhaul. So this means that not only did I pay for drive line servicing that I didn't get, they also charged me for a transmission service that I did not get. I STRONGLY recommend you go elsewhere for car service! Whether this is company policy or a lazy individual working under the car is unimportant, the end-result is the exact same and what I'm finding is epidemic with cheap shoddy repair facilities from sea to shining sea. I've since found an extraordinary shop, email me for the name and address, but steer clear of these guys because even when you DO catch them at bad service they just sit and look at you as opposed to being apologetic and getting it handled and making it right. read more

Lee and Nathan know their stuff but, more importantly, they bend over backwards to accommodate the customer. I had a small job (moving a wiring connector) and was under a tight schedule. They said drop it off and they will work it in when they can. I had my jeeps oil changed here and the next time it was due the bolt kept spinning. I took it to them and the owner said that since he did the last oil change, he will take responsibility. He took my jeep overnight and took down the oil pan to re-weld it so we wouldn't have the problem. Worked great ever since! They always take care of me. Every company is going to mess up; we are human! As long as they make it right, that's what counts :) read more

I took my truck to be diagnosed. I was told they would have to start by changing the 4x4 selector switch and then go from there. When I brought up the issue of what if the switch is not the problem, Nathan (manager) slightly changes his choice of words and then stated that the switch was definitely bad. To our surprise the switch was in perfect working order. Now they want to charge me again for a rediagnosis. To find the problem. Worthless shop. They want to change parts until they hopefully find the problem. read more

I come here often and never have problem, today on the other hand was a whole bad experience, I came at open which is 8am, dropped my car off for an oil change, was told it would be an hour. Came back at 11 my car still hasn't been touched and the people are rude and unhelpful just ignoring me. read more

Go somewhere else. I only have myself to blame. I've had them change oil on several vehicles. Suv's and trucks. Each time I noticed my SUV has been at least 1/2 a qt low on oil after their oil change. This last time I took my truck and it was a full qt low after their quality service. $30 dollars for their quality work. Had a friend take their car here for a tune up. About two years later at another shop for another tune up the original spark plugs were still in the vehicle. Quality lube and Tune did not change the spark plugs!!!! Double check their work. It's most likely they did not do what they tell you they did!!! Do yourself and your car a favor. Go somewhere else! read more

Overall it wasn't a bad experience, i went to get my oil changed which was not badly priced and the wait wasn't long . The bad was when they do the free fluid top off and tire check the information they had given me was incorrect, saying all was well and i needed nothing to find out the next day, after getting a flat tire and going somewhere else to fix it, i need two additional tires on top of the flat. read more

So I see an ad for an ARB locker for sale. I called to inquire about it and that is where it all began. Without boring everybody with details that I went through with this place, I will simply say that the price started out at $1000 and ended up at $2339. There was price changing and coercion throughout the whole transaction. I went in to buy a used/rebuilt ARB installed and left with a gear change that didn't help and an ARB that didn't work! After they completed the job the first time (which took 3 months to get to this point) they gave me back my truck saying everything worked. I then took the truck to another shop for different work and had that shop check Quality lube & tune's work,only to find out that it wasn't working. I returned the truck back to Quality lube and tune and told them that the truck is not working. After waiting another 2 weeks, they called and said "they repaired it and checked it 10 times and it works perfect". When I came back to pick up that truck, I literally walked outside opened the door turned the compressor on which was installed from the other shop and instantly noticed that it was exactly the same NOT REPAIRED! I walked back in and handed them back the keys. I guess 3rd time is the charm to get it working? It took them 6 months from start to finish based on their receipt dates. In summary of my experience. I was sold things that didn't help, they forgot to put parts on, they repeatedly told me that they tested their work, yet their work didn't function and it took 6 mo to get it right. With that said you can imagine why I am never using this place again! I hope this story will save the next person from getting ripped off from these dishonest people! If I could give this place less stars, I would! I'm not one who bothers to review, but think it's worth it so other people do not get taken advantage of like I was. The manager Nathan seems like a good guy, but the owner is unprofessional. They are always understaffed and take much longer to finish the job than promised. They had my Jeep for over a week and when I went to pick it up, I waited another 2 hours. I found out that the work hasn't been done so they were scrambling to finish it while I waited (and the work was not even completed)!! Don't let the "They are Jeep guys" reputation fool you. Took my truck to get it aligned, as they advertised a $70 4WD alignment (wanted to try them out, and maybe do some modifications on the truck). They did a 'diagnosis' and told me it was going to be more involved; many parts needed to be replaced on the front end and they had to work up a quote. They charged me $39 for the diagnostic, but said they'd give me credit once we did the repairs. Called me up later that afternoon with a quote of ~$1500.00 for the front end and another $650 for shocks. Took it over to Oro Valley automotive and they did the whole thing for $40! No additional parts or work needed! Now it drives just fine...with the money I didn't spend, I bought new tires and rims and STILL spent less than Trail Boss/Quality Lube was going to charge. Seemed like nice folks, not sure what the deal is, but won't be going back. read more
