Would be 5 stars because I was very pleased with the entire process BUT the oil filter is NOT included in the price! I couldn't believe it when I got my invoice. They charged $7 for the filter and $3 for a 4 wheel drive. Add the waste oil fee and the cost jumps $15. The website discusses the 33 point inspection, including oil change, filter and other services. Having said that, the reviews are great, the staff is super polite and professional. The manager is also polite as I called later and complained about the filter up charge. Nice they offer beverages while waiting in your car as well. You can also find coupons online. They put the wrong filter on my scat pack challenger I guess I learned my lesson taking a nice vehicle to some shit shop.

I needed an oil change, and due to my schedule, and appointment with my regular guy would not work. I cringed at the though of the "other' oil change place, so I tried Oil Stop. I was pleasantly surprised. You stay in your car, and they put towels on your car so they do not get oil or such on it. They also offer AC piped in to the car while you wait. Of course they try and up sell, I expected that, but they were not too pushy. I am still waiting for an email receipt , however for a synthetic blend oil change, I was ok with the price. These guys really take forever. It's a lot of unnecessary walking around. Spending too much time away from You and your vehicle. I felt like I was waiting forever for the most simple things to get done. Going back and fourth between customers instead of having 1 person assigned to every vehicle. Kenroy and his team are the absolute best! They go above and beyond to make sure you are informed of every little thing they are doing and what recommendations they have. They do offer add ons but do not pressure you to buy anything, I love that because some folks don't know what to do and some are more educated in the maintenance of their vehicle. Kenroy will always stop and ask how you are doing, remembers you and doesn't just "fake" his smile and conversations. I cant recommend this place enough to folks who just need to get their maintenance done on their cars at a very fair price! Keep them in mind next time you are needing your oil changed. I am giving four stars for several reasons, 1) they were quick to great me, 2) offered a beverage (never had an oil change place do that), 3) put protective coverings over the car, 4) checked all tire air pressures, and 5) lubed all hood and door hinges. I am docking one star because they asked to check the cabin air filter. I let them, it was definitely dirty and need to be replaced. They said they would replace it for an additional $50. This particular filter cost $26. It took me literally 30 seconds to replace it, definitely not worth almost a 100% price increase. The cost was about average with the other local places. I will go back, but I won't let them change the cabin air filter. read more

So brought my car here for the typical over priced oil change witch I was 100% okay with. They try the classic "oh hey the dealer recommended oil is the most expensive one" or pulls out the dip stick with out whipping it and says "looks like you are over the recommend about you might wanna get out engine cleaner for 14$$" once again I knew what I was walking into and they ask you a million questions to try to get you to spend more then what you planned. This place is either extremely short staffed or is doing something other oil change places are not. I showed up at 8 am - right when they opened with two cars already there ahead of me. No big deal, I was ok waiting. I sat there for over 30 minutes and I didn't hear anything going on with the two other cars there and didn't see any staff other than the woman that initially greeted me then disappeared. Apparently if you're getting your oil changed here you need to plan for it to be an all day affair. Make sure you've got the day off from work and bring a book...or you know, find somewhere else. Pro tip for this place: people don't mind waiting but if you're honest up front ("hey sorry but it's busy and we're very short staffed it will probably be an hour or two") it will go a long way. read more

First, I have to make it known that it may cost you less money to go to Walmart, but you absolutely get what you pay for. I've taken my van here a few times and the service has always been good and quick, but last week it was more than that. I am 7m pregnant and was headed out of town. While I was running errands with my toddler, my van's oil life notification popped on and I came here. They serviced it as needed, but when it was time to start the engine and roll out of there, my battery was dead. They tried a few times and finally got it to start, but they looked it up and had the type of battery my van takes in stock. The gentlemen who helped me were Nick, Mitch, and Steven (I made a note of the name tags on their shirts). They were super helpful and not the least bit annoyed I was holding up literal traffic in the drive-thru oil change line. They even gave me a military discount when it was clear I was a bit stressed out from this added and unexpected expense. It was still pricey, but I definitely appreciated it. In this economy, every little bit helps. These guys got my van fixed up and helped me on my way. I am so grateful that I came here vs going to Walmart like I've done in the past. Waited in line for over 2 hours. Checked in by the first attendant who quoted a price to me. Second attendant provided the written quote to me, (as I had at this time pulled into the garage after 2 1/2 hours of waiting), and they provided a total price that was well over double the amount from the first attendant's estimate to me for the same oil change request. I asked for a discount being that I was drastically misquoted. Was given a 10% discount, offered in one of their coupons. Still significantly overpriced. At that point after waiting for hours, I had them do the work. As I was pulling out of the garage my engine was making a weird knocking sound that had never occurred before. So I stopped and they quickly fixed whatever it was, and I was good to go. I will never go back there again. It was one of the worst car maintenance experiences I have ever had. I have been an OILSTOP customer for 4 + years...always loved their friendly/professional service but I purchased a new Nissan Rogue and after 2000 miles took it in the Tucson oilstop for a synthetic oil change....what a negative difference. Everyone seemed new, not friendly at all , and they did not seem competent at the service .....took me 1hr 25min to get service completed. Sorry to say, back to The Walmart on Cortero Rd. If you need an oil change quickly with no appointment are okay with paying a little more than you may other places, this place is perfect for that. They will try to upsell you a bunch of stuff, which is a big complaint of alot of the bad reviews here, but just stick to what you came in for and dont let yourself get suckered into a bunch of extra stuff and you'll be fine. The employees are just reading off a script so it's easy enough to just say no to all the extra stuff they try to sell you. Don't let the 1 star reviews make you think you're going to go in for an oil change and leave $5000 poorer after getting helplessly swindled.
