This is a nice downtown location that even has a small parking lot right across the street. It's clean and comfortable inside. I went there for pour over because it gives me the best opportunity to try some of their fancier coffee beans. To me, most of what I've tried at Honest Coffee tastes more on the side of traditional coffee (except for the Bunum Wo, which is New Guinea Peaberry), but it is done very well. The barista was helpful, and the pour over was quite tasty. I'd definitely recommend getting the La Cabana as a pour over. The menu said La Cabana has a bright taste, and they weren't kidding. However, it isn't so over powering that a traditional style coffee lover would not like it. However, as good as it was, there are a few things I find about Honest Coffee that keeps it from getting five stars. They obviously aren't too big because I still gave it four stars. For one, I didn't see a natural processed coffee bean on the pour over menu. Those are the ones that I believe have the best flavor (though the one I had was a light roast, so that's good to have that option). Also, I was served the pour over in a to go cup, but I was not asked if I wanted that or a mug. I like to see the presentation with a pour over. However, it was still great coffee. Probably the biggest thing that keeps me from going to Honest Coffee more often is the fact that there are only a small number of beans that are advertised on line (which are nearly always the same ones), so I never am sure what they have. There are usually a number of different bags of beans for sale in the store that don't show online. I normally look for something I want to try online and then go to the store to buy it. If I can't see this, then I'm less likely to go there. With that being said, they do show their "Half Truth" blend online, which is a half caff coffee. If you are looking for this, it's a delicious tasting blend, and the cherry notes they advertise are definitely there. Unfortunately, I didn't see a bag of it at this store, but I'll bet you can get it at the Franklin store. You could, however, find a bag of the La Cabana I tried at the downtown store. If you want something with a good deal of brightness but not too far from traditional coffee, go for it! read more

The perfect açaí bowl on the perfect day. I stopped in L &L market to get and açaí bowl. I got the standard large and it was quite filling. I added almond peanut butter and it took my cup to the next level. The service was quick as it was a slow Saturday afternoon. My server was friendly and patient as I reviewed the menu. I would definitely comeback and work on the sitting area. They have WiFi and decent seating space. read more

Love love love this coffee shop. I had an iced oak latte with caramel bourbon syrup - yum. Perfectly sweet, and definitely hit the spot. I also had a white chocolate raspberry scone, which was the perfect balance of crispy and soft. There's plenty of other food options available for breakfast or lunch, but I personally wasn't keen on some of the options and the price point. Prices are a bit higher than I'd expect for the area, but I wouldn't mind coming back and paying for the same thing again. Judging by the laptops and textbooks, this is a good place to sit and stay a while. You can study, work, and catch up with friends. Service was polite, efficient, and quick. I received my order in minutes after paying. There's street parking available, but I opted to walk here. read more

This place was good but I think a little overpriced, even for the area. We got 2 coffees and 1 avocado toast and it came out to $24.70. The coffees were fine. The avocado toast was only okay and they were also out of the microgreens that are supposed to go on top of it. It was a fine coffee shop but I think I'd be more likely to try somewhere else next time as opposed to come back here. read more

Let's be Honest... it's just a right place to be. This is great for those coffee drinkers who may not want their coffee too strong, but not super light. (Friend's input.) I got the seasonal tonic drink Matcha Maker. It was perfect for me. Not too much lemon grass flavoring and one of the better tonic drinks I've had at a coffee roasters. The staff is super friendly. The atmosphere is chill with music at the right level to concentrate and have conversations. Great way to start your day or have a late morning pick me up. read more

This was the worst overall experience I've ever had here in Nashville. The first set my boy down and I almost laughed because I thought it was a joke it was literally something a 4 year old could make with wilted lettuce(with a hair on it that I pointed out) So I asked if they could at least panini press it like it is in the picture that describes it. And they did and it really didnt make it that much better. But don't post pictures of your food and it looks absolutely nothing like it when it comes out. Well, considering this is Honest Coffee Roasters, I need to be honest. This cafe is absolutely wonderful! I had the pleasure of discovering this recently and stopped in yesterday. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating for dietary restrictions (asking about milk preferences and offering gluten free granola, so fellow Celiac patients, you can eat there!). The ambiance of this restaurant is modern, relaxing, but at the same time, gives a cosmopolitan feel and made me feel bougie. And might I say... the FOOD. Holy smokes! I was recommended a seasonal coffee (Breakfast in Bed) by the sweet barista and the delicious syrup perfectly countered bitterness of the espresso, and even THAT was amazing! I tend to like my coffee sweeter but this wasn't too sweet T all. Also, I have had a few açaí bowls in my life and this one easily takes first place. I have thought about going back for a second one since having it. Well done, Honest Coffee! I'm so excited to come back and have recommended this place already, and I'll continue to do it! read more

The Açaí bowl I ordered was frozen solid and uneatable. All food is premade and cannot be changed to fit dietary or allergic accommodations. Whether it be forgotten items with my order, long wait times only to inform they are out of an item, inconsistent pricing from morning morning, and just overall service. I live near by this location and have had two different experiences here where I was surprised by how well I was taken care of given the circumstance. The first time I had ordered a coffee, and it took significantly longer than usual. I wasn't in a rush and waited patiently, but it had been about 10 minutes or so and one the workers realized I looked like I was waiting. He asked and was shocked that i waited that long for the coffee. With that, he comp'd my coffee and apologized. Didn't expect that, but left there with a good taste in my mouth. Just recently, I was in a rush and ordered an online pick up order. I get there to realize I had ordered and paid to a different Honest Coffee location. When I got there and explained to them what happened, they said don't worry about paying for the food (since I already did to the other location) and said they would take care of me. I was completely prepared to pay for it again, as it was my mistake, but they insisted that I didn't do that. I was a little embarrassed by my mistake, but man they sure took care of me.
