I don't like writing negative reviews, but I also believe businesses need to be held accountable…read morefor deceptive practices. 1. I had a tub faucet with a slight drip. I assumed the mixer cartridge needed replacing. This is a repair I would usually do myself, but since I live about 45 minutes away I decided to call a plumber in the area. Based upon the 5 star reviews I called Marysville AA Plumbing. 2. After looking at the problem the plumber recommended taking out the entire existing Delta fixture, "since Delta parts were difficult source," and installing an entire new Moen valve and housing assembly, which would also require cutting a hole in the adjacent closet to access the pipes. Estimated total (not including drywall repair) - $1600. Could the plumber breakdown the estimate into parts & labor? No. Really? Sounded a bit steep to me but what do I know. Maybe Delta parts are really hard to find. After passing the quote along to my wife we agreed to say no thanks and get another bid. 3. At this point I went online and within 5 minutes located the replacement cartridge at multiple Home Depots for $65. I purchased the cartridge and installed it myself in under 30 minutes. 4. Either I was being scammed or the plumber didn't know what he was talking about. Beware.

I requested a tune up for my water heater and furnace. The team of 4 showed up, explained the process, and began work. After each of the tune up they provided a very detailed explanations of everything they found (both good and bad). They provided several options and there was no hard upsell. Overall I enjoy being a member and getting free and discounted tuneups! Shout out to Kevin who explained the mechanics of my furnace and helping me explore options around my current problem!

Seatown Review: Before You Hire, Read About Our Experience…read more We hired Seatown because of a previous positive experience with one of their plumbers. When our water heater failed, we contacted them again for a replacement and several electrical projects, including an EV charger installation. The salesperson who came to our home told us he could offer a particularly good deal and an additional 10% discount if work started immediately. Based on those representations, we signed the estimates and proceeded. Shortly after work began, we started researching the pricing and became concerned that the quoted costs were far higher than market rates. For example, we were quoted approximately $7,500 for a replacement water heater and installation. Our later research indicated the unit retailed for about $2,350, leading us to question the overall pricing. In total, Seatown's billings approached $17,000. Based on our own research and discussions, we believed a reasonable price for the completed work was closer to $8,500. We requested a detailed review of the charges before making additional payments. After discussions with Seatown, the company reduced the total cost by approximately $7,000. We ultimately paid about $8,500, including our down payment. We also discovered that a required electrical permit had not been obtained before work began. The permit was secured approximately one month after completion of the work. During the subsequent city inspection, the work initially failed inspection and required corrective action before ultimately passing. Our concerns were not with the workers themselves, who were generally professional and courteous. Rather, they involved the pricing, sales process, and permit handling. Based on our experience, we strongly recommend obtaining multiple bids, asking detailed questions about permits, and carefully reviewing pricing before signing any agreement. Doing so could save you thousands of dollars.

We had them install hot water faucet access in the backyard for kids pools, and rapid? hot water access in other areas of the house. Their technician confirmed what we already suspected, and we were told the replacement part was back ordered until September 2025. After signing a contract, Dapper stopped communicating entirely. There were no updates, no follow-up, and no accountability. By October 2025 after months of silence, we cancelled the service and requested a refund. It is now December 2025, and despite repeated calls and constant reassurances that the refund is "being processed," nothing has been returned to us. At this point, their lack of communication, failure to honor the agreement, and ongoing delays have left us no choice but to involve legal counsel to recover the money we are owed. While their "contract" states 30% nonrefundable, I cannot accept that their failure to perform, bad faith, unjust enrichment, and potential breach of contract would be an excuse to have them keep the money that's rightfully ours. This experience has shown a clear disregard for customers, and we would strongly caution others before working with this company.
