Cute spot; one of 3 locations in the area. I've been wanting to check this place out before they opened the St Charles location. The inside is cute, got a big stuffed boba cup, some board games and cute seating areas. The cashier was nice, gave some suggestions and ready to answer any questions I had. I tried their strawberry yogurt and it was surprisingly delicious - creamy, sweet and some creamy yogurt bits. It probably could be a meal substitute as I was full by the time I finished lol. There was only one person working but the service was still fast and friendly! The girl did a great job of explaining the differences between the drinks as well. The store itself was also very clean and nice with plenty of seating. The bathroom was well taken care of too. Drink quality was overall good but not my favorite. The house special milk tea had a blend of different teas and had a floral taste as well. I personally didn't love the floral hint. Next time I would probably get the normal milk tea. The drinks are great quality though, they clearly use real tea, the Thai tea has a strong good flavor. Boba quality was great as well. Honey Bee Tea is the fastest bubble tea chain that's been opening in STL. I remember going to the first spot off of Manchester, not too long ago and now there are like 3 more locations and continuing to expand. I'm thankful that we have a more legit bubble tea spot in St. Charles. Other St. Charles locations do not have caps: salted cremes or creme brulees. More toppings Notes: * get extra ice - for some reason their teas are lukewarm, even though they put ice in it and shake it up * prices are higher than other bubble tea spots in St. louis. I've never paid over $10 for a bubble tea until Honey Bee tea. It'll even get more expensive the more toppings you add. * Make sure to check out their Hong Kong Waffle (cheaper than your bubble tea) ****** If you get anything with Creme Brulee or Creme foam, do not drink it with a straw, you're missing the point of the creme. What happened Honey Bee? When the shop first opened the tea was consistently good, I now avoid Honey Bee and drive to O'Fallon. My daughter refuses to go to Honey Bee. The last 2 times she has ordered the Sunrise Strawberry Galaxy it has not had the distinctive 2 colors, it is all red and has no distinct flavor--it just tastes like sugar water. I pointed out to the young lady when I picked it up the last time, she turned the cup around and pointed to an area on the cup and said "There's the blue." Today was the straw that broke the camel's back. I ordered a milk tea with brown sugar boba. Please refer to the photo below to see that my whole tea had 12-15 boba pearls. I paid $1.25 for 12-15 boba!?!? I am so disappointed that the quality and consistency of Honey Bee has gone down hill so quickly. read more

I went to HoneyBee tea in Lafayette location couple times before, but I haven't been to any other new locations. It's my first time here. I was impressed at how charming and Instagrammable this store was. Very clean and inviting. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking spots in the same strip mall with Dierbergs. I walked in today to get sugarcane juice drink but I didn't realized they only had it at Oakville location. I ended up getting my usual order here - passion fruit green tea. It's very refreshing. My partner got Vietnamese coffee, and he said it hit the spot (yay). Service was fast and friendly 10/10! read more

This is a great little boba place and we have been here a bunch. It's not very different from any other Boba we've been to, in terms of their teas. People don't usually hang out inside, but the whole shopping center begs you to take the Boba and stroll. My only criticism is that I wish the owners would allow different vendors to cross-promote there. I've seen more graphic cosmetic surgery ads at Honey Bee than on a medical drama. read more

For our Granddaughter's 2nd birthday the theme was Tea for Two featuring Bubble Tea. The Honey Bee staff was very accommodating. My wife and daughter visited the store to sample various teas and Smoothies for the kids. Delivery was right on time. And the staff who deliver were really nice. All of the beverages were great. My family and I regularly visit Honey Bee Tea. Love that they offer caffeine free options for the kids with smaller cups. I think they have one of the best Taro milk teas. Love that with their brown sugar boba. If I'm feeling like I want more of a dessert flavor I will add sea salt foam. I've gotten the same drink multiple times and flavors are consistent. Staff is always friendly and seem to like working there. My kids love seeing the little boba plushies laying around the store. Cute store with yummy drinks. read more

I stopped in for the soft opening today and was thoroughly impressed. The line was almost out the door (folks are excited!) so I probably waited 5min to order. Once placed, the order took about 10min. This seemed reasonable to me for a soft opening with a lot of people in line. Orders were coming up rapidly, so it didn't seem like mine was delayed, just there were people ahead of me. I couldn't see how many folks were in the kitchen, but there was a steady back and forth chatter as they communicated orders, which I feel is a good sign. The ambiance was nice; trendy and cute without being overdone. Music, but not overly loud, and lots of color on the walls! I ordered the M6, a Thai Milk Tea and got the optional brown sugar boba pearls (chewy type). It was $8 ($6.75 for the tea plus $1.25 for the boba), which is higher than I expected, but not outlandish for a specialty drink shop. They do have a lot of options, including drinks with probiotics and yogurt, and others with fruit, in addition to plain teas and a few snacks and desserts. I will definitely be returning to try more. I think it was overall a great experience and has solid potential to be a favorite stop! read more

Please fix your hours. The hours on google and on the website says either 9 or 10 am, but we came in at 10:40 and were told the boba would not be ready until 11. For a business that ostensibly revolves around bubble tea with the majority of your menu items pictured with boba this is pretty ridiculous. When we have been there at a time when the boba was available the drinks were delicious, but the fact that the business hours are inconsistently listed across google, yelp, and their own website makes it difficult to know what the hours actually are. read more
