My fiancé and I routinely visit this local breakfast spot. It's so good! Everyone is so nice inside as well. A lot of times we will end up sitting by the bar because generally when we go it's prime time. We find ourselves to get sat down faster that way at least. Everything on the menu is excellent. The background music isn't overpowering by any means and generally a good selection. They also have TVs near the bar playing a variety of shows. Also, don't forget they have lunch dishes too! I came to the suburbs from the city for a Mother's Day brunch. Luckily, this place had a check-in/ waitlist on Yelp app/online so I was able to see waitlist times and queue order! The place was packed, but the waitlist order time was accurate and we were seated at the corresponding time it told us to come. The menu is quite large but it seemed that it had a variety of options that can suit everyone's dietary options. I ordered a mango smoothie that was very refreshing and a country fried steak burger. The portion was big and it came with the option of hash browns or French fries. My hash browns were freshly cooked and delicious. My mom got one of the omelette skillets. She said it was very good and was also a big portion. This option also came with a side of pancakes. Overall, the service was great, the food was delicious, the restaurant aesthetic was very nice and clean as well. I'd definitely come here again and try other options on their menu! read more

Wanted to like this place, but it was very disappointing. It's a big open space that's loud and somehow the decor just doesn't come together. The menu selection is pretty typical for this type of breakfast place, kind of pricey. (think I'd rather go to a Greek place that offers combos). The Cinnamon Roll Pancakes are really just plain pancakes with sauce, so only the top part has any extra flavor. Not sure why I thought the pancakes themselves would be swirled with something extra? Somehow my friend's request for chicken sausage yielded a chicken breast. Service was nothing special; the server from the neighboring section did more than our own. I think it says a lot about the place when the table tent for the rewards program is so grimy it's a turnoff. read more

We added ourselves to the wait list and we were 4th in line. No worries. 30 minutes later, we were still waiting and watched the owner seat 4 tables of 8 or so. They obviously were coming from an event and knew the owner. We were seated about 5 minutes after them. We waited 15 more minutes for coffee. After waiting another 20 minutes, we banded together with 2 equally frustrated neighboring tables to get a server to come by and take our orders. We all felt a little better as we at least had our orders in. We then found ourselves waiting again (no joke, another 30 minutes) as we watched all 30+ plates of food for the large party be served. Our orders weren't addressed until after that 30 person party was served. You couldn't feather in the other customer orders? We all had simple egg dishes, not beef wellington! While we waited, we looked around the restaurant and it was clear that our corner of the restaurant wasn't the only one angry with the situation. The obviously frustrated manager did comp us a $6 iced coffee for the nearly 2 hours it took us to get seated and served. Time for the owner to hit the books and learn modern BOH management techniques. OMG if you haven't tried their Omelette with Fig you are truly missing out on an extraordinary experience. We love coming here, but the only complaint we have is that every single time we try to pay with our debit card it gets declined. 1st time here snd just a 5 min ride from our place. 1). Service was outstanding. 2) Ohhh man... giant chunks of corned beef cooked to fall apart-y goodness tossed in perfectly cooked hash browns, scrambled eggs on top. Huge portion. HUGE. Generous serving of lox with a nice spread of the standard accompaniments to make your bagel extra. Very good coffee. My daughter commented on the toast, which was perfectly browned and delicious. Will definitely be back to explore more of the menu!!! My only suggestion would be 2 whipped butters... one for each slice of toast... as they are quite small containers. Good menu, airy & open ambience, didn't have to wait too long for a table despite it being Sunday, which was helped by Yelp waitlist. The service was noticeably slow, however. It took a while just get a drink order, 1 iced tea, 2 cappuccinos. The cappuccinos were mild, & by the time they arrived, warm-ish, but not hot enough. It was another wait to put in a food order, & more time to actually receive our order. It was 2 entree salads, a skillet, and a create-your-own omelette. The omelette was made w/o 1 ingredient, but we didn't mention it. Fresh fruit was good, as was the rest of the meal. The portions were generous...the skillet or omelette could've been divided by 2 people wanting less to eat. I would recommend eating there, but only if you've got plenty of time! read more

Walked in and got seated right away. During the week so not so busy! Waited a while for a server to come over, not a big deal! But the killer was going to the restroom to wash my hands only to see a worker come out of the toilet, look right at me and not even think about washing his hands. My wife and I left right after, without getting our food. Unfortunately we would have loved to comment on the food, but there's just no excuse for this! Alex is amazingly patient, and personable. I've been there twice now. Once during the week (laid back and quiet) , and once on a Saturday (fast-paced and busy). In both environments she was fantastic, along with her colleagues. The food is SO delicious, with great portions, and freshly made. On Saturday I took my husband with me, and we tried a couple of the drinks. They were also delicious, but potent. LOL We DEFINITELY recommend this restaurant. Went here on 6/2 for breakfast. Got seated at 12:35pm and placed order at 12:40pm. I watched at least 5 larger parties (my party was 3) get their food before me. At 1:20 pm we stopped waitress regarding our order and she said so sorry and walked away. We preceded to watch 3 huge parties get there orders within 10 min. Finally, my family and I got up to leave and requested to speak to manager. The manager came and said there was a glitch. She'll get our orders rushed.
