My friend & I came early on a Sat. morning to beat the crowd. We were seated at a table and served coffee. We really enjoyed our traditional breakfasts of eggs, potatoes (hash browns for me and home fries for her), turkey sausage and toast. They have rye bread (love). We took home donuts and they were the best. It did get busy before we left. This place is a hit.

Always my go-to donut pickup. My hubs loves their maple eclair. They seem to very popular. However, my family loves all of the variety! Sprinkle, chocolate cake, apple fritter- you name it!!!

I've seen this place for years and finally took the opportunity to stop in for some midday donuts. Nicely done, Honey Dip! There's just something about the way the dough was fried that reminded me of the donuts I got as a kid which is a very good thing. The icing and fillings were adequate complements, but the dough was the star. The place is actually more of a diner than a standalone donut shop, and I wouldn't object to returning for breakfast or lunch if the opportunity presented itself.

The service was great my waitress was very knowledgeable of the variety of doughnuts. I bought a dozen doughnuts that I had her choose from so she gave me all of her favorites both regular and Fancy doughnuts. Let me tell you that her choices pleased even my son that is a picky doughnut eater he only likes sprinkle doughnuts, so I had him try an eclair and the smile on this kids face was PRICELESS!! The ambiance of this place is very homey and just all around good vibes. The breakfast is great as well I had the Two eggs with a choice of sausage, ham, bacon or Turkey sausage. With home fries and toast. I am very picky When it comes to home fries and I don't know what kind of seasoning was used but it was so delicious. I definitely recommend this small cozy diner to everyone!! This place does get packed so try to arrive as early as possible. This place will not disappoint.

I finally picked up donuts here after having driven past it for years. I had high hopes because it always looks busy. The chocolate covered donut I tried was extremely dry. I actually didn't finish it, which is saying something. I also tried a few bites of an omelette and that tasted great. It's a big omelette and they are pretty generous with the veggies. The breakfast potatoes looked very undercooked. Service was efficient but not friendly. Not a place that I would likely come back to, but if I did I would skip the donuts and get an omelette.

A cute little dinette where you can get all your breakfast faves! It's very busy on a Saturday morning here and customers are packed in the small dining room and bar area seating. Service was sweet and fast which was good could I was hungry! I didn't get their signature donut offerings but I got their pancake which hit the spot. The have a Soup du Jour that I brought home with me that was very good the next day. If you're looking for a diner experience for a fast and easy breakfast, try the HDD!

Honey Dip is the perfect little diner experience! We stopped in on a very busy Sunday morning and the place was packed with people ordering donuts and dining in. We were seated fairly quickly and our server was super friendly and came over right away. The food is all your typical diner comfort foods. I did a build your own omelette and it was tasty! My partner also liked his breakfast burrito. Only negative is that I didn't love the home fries, but overall a great experience!

This has been on my list for a while now and boy am I glad I finally went in for breakfast! Definitely a great, old school diner with amazing, no frills breakfast! I've been twice now and have not been disappointed by anything I've gotten. Walking in you definitely feel a bit transported in time, but not in a bad way. Employees have all been very nice and attentive and willing to share opinions on food. The biscuits and gravy + 2 eggs was so amazing. Again, no frills, nothing fancy just an amazingly well done, hearty breakfast. 10000% recommend to anyone. The biscuits were super fluffy and moist and the gravy was just a perfect accompanyment. The breakfast burrito with chili was also just amazing. I love chili on just about anything and it was great on the burrito. Does it need the chili? Absolutely not, the burrito stood well on its own. Super flavorful sausage and perfectly done hashbrowns and eggs. For anyone looking for a homey, no frills breakfast, definitely give honey dip a try. There's no fancy gimmick or draw, just great, cheap food!

Finally went for donuts. I should have gone sooner. Damn good donuts. The cherry donut (not jam filled) was awesome. Great service, big selection. Friendly too. Will definitely be back

Just delightful! Upon entering on a Wednesday morning, it was clear that this place is a huge hit with locals. Nearly all the tables were full of what appeared to be retirees. You can't help but enjoy the old school vibes, with a counter up front proudly displaying donuts on the back wall, as we as options like Long Johns and Cinnamon rolls on the bottom case. We dined in and took a seat on the right hand side of the dining room. Classic photographs filled the wall in addition to a flat screen TV playing ESPN. I opted to sit facing the other way to minimize distraction :) There were two servers managing the front of the house while the cooks were busy at work in the kitchen. Everything on the breakfast menu was reasonably priced below $10. They offer all the fare you know, love, and expect such as eggs, toast, pancakes, omelette, etc. in addition to specials like a donut sandwich. After deliberating over what to order, I opted for the Eggs Benedict while my sister chose the Corned Beef Hash. Our items came out swiftly and were simply delicious. The hollandaise sauce atop the Canadian bacon and English muffin was unexpectedly outstanding. Rich, and flavorful, it was the perfect topper to the savory meat and airy muffin. My sister's hash was delicious too - very delicious and satisfying. We took home a half-dozen box of assorted donuts as well. They were tasty, though the hot breakfast was even better in my opinion. Friendly service throughout. Worth swinging by when you're in the area! Upon departing, we noticed a sign touting the quality of their omelettes and pancakes...We know what we're trying next time!

A classic diner. Honey Dip Donuts is a longtime favorite. If you don't want doughnuts there's also real food. Basic things like sandwiches to eat. The doughnuts however are the main thing. Be sure to get there early. It closes early. They're open for breakfast and lunch. After that they go home. Most people come for the doughnuts so it's busiest in the morning. It also has a small lunch menu if you're dining in. The lunch food is pretty average but it's cheap though. I came in to pick up doughnuts for a meeting. Looking at the menu, I thought why not get something to eat too. It was no problem. They could wait. I ordered a Vegetable Sandwich. It's about $6.50 and comes with chips on the side. This comes with some kind of tzatziki sauce, but skip that nasty shit and get some Italian dressing because it's healthier and it goes well. Of course most people come for the doughnuts. They have the typical assorted flavors. Interesting place to check out and it feels homey. It's as if this is a place time forgot with the outdated exterior and interior. They have more than doughnuts so check it out.

Before it was delivered to me at noonish today by a dear dear friend. Now to the donut. It was simply marvelous. 48 hours. Hundreds of miles in cars. Yet it tasted fresh. New location, same great service and taste!…read more I have tried donuts in many states and countries and I have yet to find one better than here. Well, if I'm honest there was this Amish stand at a farmers market in Central PA that had outstanding donuts, but they only sold them a few times a year and I have no idea how to find them! This trip, I got the big boy donut, a white icing cake donut, and a pretzel. The big boy donut is a huge glazed donut as big as your head. That's right, you can hold it up to your head and it will be just as large!!! This time, however, they put a twist on them and added icing to a few. I know, sweet on top of a sweet sugary donut seems like overkill, and it was. But come on, anyone willing to eat a donut as big as his head has no problem with something super duper sweet! The other items were equally good, and I liked their new larger location. They even added a few new items since I was last there like donut holes/bites. This place continues to reign as the donut king in my estimation, and the fact that they FINALLY accept credit cards now is a huge win.

I like that you have to take a number before getting called to order. This makes it easier to walk around freely and decide what you want as opposed to standing in line and not having a view of what's available. I kept it simple and only ordered an apple fritter for myself. While it was a bit underdone in the center, I think it's because of the huge apple chunks. It was very soft and deliciously sweet though. I'd absolutely return to try out their bow tie donuts and danishes!

It's a small shop by a gas station. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and they were ready to take our order before we were ready to give it. I asked about a couple of the varieties in the display counter and those answers helped me make my selections. We ended up with 6 different varieties. A maple cream stick, donut stick, apple fritter, raspberry jelly filled, a buckeye donut (for my hubby) and a chocolate espresso donut (for me). The price was quite reasonable and the people working were very friendly. I also ended up getting a bag of coffee beans after talking with our server and getting her recommendations. She even gave me a sample of one of them they had brewed. We paid for our items and headed out. Several people came while we were there. In fact our friends missed getting to try the espresso donut because someone's that jumped in between us bought the last of them. After trying it when we got to our car I can see why! DELICIOUS!! Would go back for it alone. My husband didn't even wait until we got to the car to try his Buckeye donut and he loved it. Their apple fritter was better than one I bought earlier that morning from a bakery. I didn't think the raspberry jelly filled had nearly enough filling. It easily needed tripled. I say that as someone who worked for three years in a bakery and filled donuts. All in all this was a great stop and if we're in the area again we would definitely drop by to see what's being served.

We got cannolis and the B&W but I will definitely be back to try more things. The cookie was out of this world and just like from my favorite Manhattan corner deli.
