Someone used to bring in these donuts at my old job. My first time buying these myself. I miss the taste. Considerably better than national chain brands. It was like an old fashioned diner in there and I can see myself at the counter sipping on coffee. Friendly service. It looks like there is also a drive-through here.

It was worth going to Reynoldsburg to go Jolly Pirate Donuts. The lady behind the counter was very nice and sweet along with doing a great job in getting my friend and I the right amount of donuts and excellent service. The staff was very friendly. The Bakers Dozen is 13 with buying 12 and getting one for Free. I will be going to the Jolly Pirate Donuts in Reynoldsburg again for a Donut Day at the office. Great ambiance inside Jolly Pirate Donuts.

We stopped yesterday for a donut and tried Jolly Pirates new pumpkin donut. These are very good. The pumpkin is blended with pumpkin spices and is spot on. There is a hint of clove that is not too strong along with cinnamon and nutmeg. It is in a cake donut that is sugar glazed but not too sweet making this a great tasting donut. Naturally I had to take a bite to write the review.

Came in to grab some donuts, and the staff was nice, service was fast. The donuts were fresh. I know jolly pirate have been around a long time, and they were pretty good. The donut shop was clean. I felt like I was stepping back in time when I walked in. But overall good and fresh!

These are my childhood. Mom and I got these all the time. These are the long johns (bismarks) which I compare all others across the country. We don't live close and have to drive across town to get them. Given my 40+ years experience, I know how big they should be and just how much of my small plate they should take up. We ordered long johns and essentially got eclairs, heck the sweet version of a breadstick. The picture doesn't quite do it justice as to how small these are so I've illustrated just how much smaller. This breaks my heart because this was one of the last connections to my mom and if they get any smaller it's going to be a Timbit.

    Yeah boi!!!

You have to get the basic cake donut. It's a must and the best thing on the menu. The staff is awesome and this place is always busy.

Long time staple in Reynoldsburg. Donuts are good. I've had better but they are close to my house so it's good.

Loved this place for a long time. Seems as if it's not as well organized as it once was. Selection is sometimes wanting depending on luck.

New location, same great service and taste!…read more I have tried donuts in many states and countries and I have yet to find one better than here. Well, if I'm honest there was this Amish stand at a farmers market in Central PA that had outstanding donuts, but they only sold them a few times a year and I have no idea how to find them! This trip, I got the big boy donut, a white icing cake donut, and a pretzel. The big boy donut is a huge glazed donut as big as your head. That's right, you can hold it up to your head and it will be just as large!!! This time, however, they put a twist on them and added icing to a few. I know, sweet on top of a sweet sugary donut seems like overkill, and it was. But come on, anyone willing to eat a donut as big as his head has no problem with something super duper sweet! The other items were equally good, and I liked their new larger location. They even added a few new items since I was last there like donut holes/bites. This place continues to reign as the donut king in my estimation, and the fact that they FINALLY accept credit cards now is a huge win.

It was a pleasure to see Resch's Bakery open in Gahanna. As a family new to Ohio in 2013, we heard…read moregood things about Resch's and we have long been supporters in past communities of family owned bakeries. We enjoy their products and welcome Resch's to Gahanna. We are highly confident Resch's would be even more successful if they took two actions: 1. Open for business at least by 7:00 a.m. 2. Offer the option of traditional no-filling Chocolate and Vanilla frosted Long John donuts. -- market data supports this and shows .... Based on: * Sampling of 100+ independent bakery hours across U.S. cities * Regional bakery association listings * Yelp/Google Business hour patterns * Known bakery business models A realistic, data‑grounded estimate is: Only about 10-15% of neighborhood bakeries open at 8:00 a.m. or later. Further market data shows... Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are extremely uncommon. Why unfilled Long Johns almost always remain on the menu * They serve the "less sweet" customer segment. * They pair well with coffee (important for morning sales). * They are cheaper to produce and have fewer failure points. * They are the "default bar donut" in many regions. Even bakeries that push filled varieties keep unfilled bars because they sell steadily and require no additional labor. --- Bottom-line conclusion Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are very rare -- probably under 5% of all bakeries. The overwhelming majority offer both, with filled varieties outnumbering unfilled but not replacing them.

Caroline says the atmosphere is "Cute and very Pink!". It's true. Little girls will fall in love with the place. They have an extensive menu loaded with everything sugar. Milkshakes, slushies and candy bars! Interestingly enough, you can order breakfast sandwiches, nachos and cheesecake. I had a chili dog, that won't win any awards, but for a sugar shoppe, it was pretty darn tasty. The kids loved the life sized games and took 100 photos of themselves with the different poses. Kai's rep was really nice and spoiled these kids. We almost had to drag the girls out of there! We drove them immediately back to their home with their newly obtained sugar highs. Then we left.
