OH MY GOD!!!! move over rosenfelds.... THIS should be newton's bagel stop!!! this was a random stop-in and we were very surprised with the quality of the bagels and the size of the sandwiches. the sandwiches were a little pricey but after seeing how much they packed on it was decently priced. we sat down and enjoy our bagels but this is mostly designed to be grab-and-go so for a party larger than 3 expect to be waiting for a table. there are many ways you can get the bagel and this was VERY popular at the time that we went in, so make sure to grab a dozen early in the morning or be prepared to wait in line for the bagels. service is fast and they serve it with a smile, so come here and make this your bagel spot!!

A big thank you to NY Bagel Factory. I had an event catered by them and they did a great job. The platters were all plentiful along with a great presentation. Juan made the ordering easy, all was delivered and most importantly the food was fresh and delicious! The Bagels, cheeses, lox tray were all great the and the mini muffins were a perfect add. Thank you again for making this so easy!!!!

This is a chain bagel place that delivers on their name. Normally a place that says " NY" in the name, but it's located not in NY, doesn't give you the experience. But NY bagel factory does give you the NY bagel. Fresh bagels piled deep in their bins. So many options, just like you find at a regular NY bagel shop. The smell of onion bagels permeates the air inside. Yummy. They have a variety of cream cheeses including my personal favorite.... scallion. Their signature bagel sandwiches include things like smoked salmon and eggs and avocado. Perhaps the best part is that they carry Pastrami from Carnegie Deli. That's a NYC staple. Unfortunately it was breakfast time so I did the bagel but I'll be back for a Pastrami that stacks 1LB of meat on your choice of bread. I can't wait. Love the addition of this bagel shop to Newtonville.

Tried NY Bagel Factory today after wanting to come here for a while. I ordered online and it was ready right away when I got there. Employees were friendly. My bagel was only 8.50$. Very reasonable prices. They did not skimp on the avocado either. The bagel itself was great. Perfect thickness, a bit chewy, very flavorful. I do wish the eggs were more scrambled but I did like how they were cooked just not how I would normally get it. More fried. My only con is that it was very messy to eat! Would recommend.

A spectacular bagel chain in Newtonville. I was craving a bagel sandwich and this place did not disappoint! I came late morning on a weekday and quickly caught my eye on the Chelsea which comes with mushrooms, Swiss, spinach, and egg whites which I got on an asiago bagel. The service was quick and there are a handful of tables to sit and enjoy if you choose to eat there. After ordering I noticed the front counter with giant muffins and cookies that I will definitely need to come back for. The bagel sandwich itself was pretty massive with the egg whites taking up a hefty amount of the sandwich. The bagel was toasted but still maintained that soft and chewy texture that I look for in a bagel. The mushrooms were thickly sliced and it was stuffed with spinach. This is a perfect place to start your morning off with a delicious breakfast and will definitely be returning soon.

Great breakfast sandwich. Fresh bagel, well-cooked ingredients, and really good flavor. Filling without being too heavy and perfect for a quick breakfast. The pastrami is really good as well as the hash browns.

I had heard good things about New York Bagel Factory and when I dropped my car off for service, my husband and I stopped for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Their iced coffee is fantastic! I ordered a Large and they handed me a cup with 3 giant ice cubes made with their coffee (this is an elite move!!) and directed me to their coffee bar, they had 4 different kids of iced coffee; 1 regular, 1 decaf and 2 specialty flavors. They also had a variety of sauces and syrups plus every time of sugar/sugar substitute and milks/creams (half & half, skim, oat milk etc.). My husband and I both ordered Sausage, Egg & Cheese, mine on a toasted Asiago bagel and his on a toasted Cinnamon Crunch bagel. They were huge! We were both only able to eat half and saved the other half for lunch. The eggs were fluffy, sausage delicious and cheese perfectly melted. The bagels were just okay, we both said they had the consistency of a thick hamburger bun. There are several tables and bar seating against the front window inside the shop and in the nicer weather, a handful of tables outside. We'd both 100% go back for coffee but would probably skip the bagels. Their muffins and giant cookies in the case looked delicious, we'd probably try those next time!

I really love their chocolate muffin, I definitely would come back to snatch some more. It is quite unique!

If I closed my eyes, I'd think I was in NY. These bagels are absolutely amazing! I've enjoyed a taste of every bagel on the menu. They're consistently thick, with a crunchy outside and chewy middle. The cream cheese is fresh, and I prefer the scallion or vegetable flavors. The scallions and carrots still have a delightful crunch! Random notes: The fun bagels like Asiago or jalapeño cheddar are meals in themselves. The egg bagel (my personal fave) has a tender outside. They have blueberry bagels (which are hard to find), but make sure you get there before noon. They sell out fast. (That would be my only ding.) If I were to host a bagel competition, these would beat Pop Up, Rosenfield, and Bruegger's. Why? Variety. Ease of access. Consistency. Quality. Next up, bagel sandwiches! Which is why I wrote this review. Look at that. Just admire it. And I can't forget 'dessert'. On a whim, I tried the chocolate chip muffin. My spouse isn't a huge 'muffin/cake guy,' but after I practically forced him to try it, he is now a muffin guy. The restaurant itself is small, but clean. Also have outside seating. Omg I forgot the coffee!!!! Iced coffee is served with GIANT COFFEE ICE CUBES. Several flavors. They have oat, almond, whole milk and half and half for lightening and all the sweetener options including syrups'. The coffee is self serve.

Another location for this excellent breakfast shop. Fresh bagels, some healthy. Lots of unhealthy, but delicious and beautiful, baked goods, giant, chocolate chip, cookies, and pretty good self service, coffee and iced coffee. Unfortunately, you need to make sure the portions are correct, at least for the Avocado slices. Still working out the kinks I guess, they're also working on the AC today. But a good brand.

Good flavor. But 2 small pieces of bacon on my bacon egg and cheese and a lot of egg. Not a good ratio.

First, the menu is extensive, like Cheesecake Factory extensive. If you like Mediterranean inspired food with ridiculously good bakery items that caters easily to those who are gluten free, vegetarian or vegan, do not miss this place. He got the Israeli breakfast sub vegan kofta kebabs for the tuna and I got the vegetable shakshuka. The Israeli plate is a cornucopia of items, the pics don't do it justice. The plate was bigger than his head. He was in heaven, mmmmm-ing and ohhhing as he ate. I had the shakshuka. Now, I make this at home and have eaten it at numerous restaurants. I know good shakshuka. It was divine. The perfect amount of heat, eggs were properly runny, and the veggies were a perfect balance of crunch and spring. An espresso vanilla bean hurricane, was a delightful addition to the rest of our lunch. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The cafe interior was utilitarian and well maintained. The staff delivering food were attentive to other guests needs as they walked by. All in all, excellent food and experience. I look forward to returning.

Who makes a ham & cheese without mustard?? Blandest sandwich ever. I requested barbecue chips, got billed 50 cents for it, but didn't get the chips. I'll miss the "old" Pressed with their flavorful sandwiches and excellent order management.

We also got the gluten free pasta carbonara (great that they have so many gluten free options for pasta and pizza! major plus), pepperoni pizza (thin crust, very nice crunch), and a bolognese (also good, just a little salty). Also appreciated the customer service. I needed to heat up a bottle for my infant, and they went and got me a bowl of hot water. They also moved some chairs out of the way initially so that we could navigate the restaurant better, and were generally on top of service throughout the night. Really appreciated it!

There's almost something cozy about a place like this. Knotty P. has all the diner signs: worn counter, people yapping, the waitress taking orders non-stop, booths aren't huge, aisles are tiny (good luck getting to your seat) and the special scrape sound of the large metal spatula touching the steel flattop. If you don't mind sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with the regulars, then the counter is your spot. The only 2 seats available were at the counter and we snagged them. The breakfast potatoes are exactly what you want them to be: crispy-edges and golden- these have a little heat kick- not too much- but just enough to keep you going for another bite. As non-meat eaters, we appreciated how the cook keeps the sausages in their own territory (something is something I guess) from the omelettes, pancakes, etc. Then there's the energy- fast and a little loud in the best way. And right in the middle of it, is Ileana who has that special spark and every beat, timed.
