Maybe I am missing something, but I did not have a great experience at NY Bagel Factory in Framingham. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on an egg bagel. My sandwich was practically tasteless and had too much egg white on it. It had three eggs on it which was excessive and it was practically all egg white. Two pieces of bacon and very little, tasteless cheese. The egg bagel itself was tasty, though. I would give it another shot and possibly order a lunch sandwich next week, or just get a bagel with cream cheese. My order also took a very long time to get out, and people behind me got their orders before I did. One register was also broken and couldn't accept Apple Pay. Overall an unexpected experience, but maybe I'll try it again. read more

They got my order wrong. The cashier repeated my order back to me. I saw it written on the screen correctly but when I received my bagel it was incorrect. Not the first time this has happened. The bagels are quality but you're not going to want to eat here if they regularly get your order wrong. Makes no sense to me. read more

I have to call out Marcos for taking excellent care of me in the midst of a fairly busy day. He made sure with the guys making the bagels that I could have a particular variety (that was listed as otherwise unavailable) for pick -up the next day. 2 stars for old times. Stopped in to get 2 cinnamon and 4 poppy seed bagels. The counter guy seemed to be more impressed with himself than providing quality service. Maybe because I only left a dollar in the tip jar. Maybe that was why I had to take my paper receipt off the printer myself. Something has happened to their bagel recipes. While still just fresh, the textures and flavors seemed off. If you are a senior citizen you're sometimes served the older goods ( or maybe Junior had me pegged as a light tipper? But a cinnamon bagel should have attest a hint of cinnamon. The ones I was given were regular bagels with a few raisins. I think Market Basket has better bagels and theirs are do-do. Obsessed with the onion bagel. Normally places only put the seasoning on the top side but NYBF does both sides and has tons of onion on it. Incredibly delicious! All their bagels are. It's awesome if you get them fresh and warm. Saturday mornings they are pumping them out like crazy. It's fun for the kids to watch the bagel making machine thru the glass window. Their iced coffee is so good and the ice cubes are made of coffee! So smart! You get a cup with the cubes and have a choice of iced coffee at the iced coffee station. These bagels are huge, tasty, and fresh. The employees are always friendly and nice. They also have cream cheese options, drinks, sandwiches. I really wanted to like this place but after multiple visits and two attempts to get a refund, I'm sad to repeat that I won't be a patron here anymore. I've ordered in person once, ordered pick up three times and only 2/4 orders were done properly. I typically order on the go as a little treat, but it takes so long to pick up your order (there's no one working that station, so you have to wait til people are done ordering), it's rarely correct/complete, and I don't have the time to check over people's jobs as I foolishly believed people would put all the items of my order together so that when I picked it up, everything would be ready for me - you know, like a regular place with decent customer service. Mind you, I reported the incident via phone and their "customer service support box" and no one has reached out to me and it's been nearly two weeks. During my second to last order, they the chips that were supposed to come with my chicken salad sandwich. I let it slide because that was minor. During my last order, they forgot the side chicken salad I ordered but gave me all the condiments...so despite how the food tasted and the vibes inside the actual restaurant, I'm fed up with NY bagel and wont be returning. read more

Second time being here! Everything was great! Service was amazing, food was delicious and bountiful for the price paid. It is very clean and minimalistic/modern environment. Both times (low peak) I had my little dog with me in his pet carrier and was allowed to dine in (my dog is well behaved in public), I sat in the far left corner. I had not visited their other locations yet, but this one I definitely recommend if you are around the area. It is across the Polish(?) market. So, I always get my bagels at another bagel shop which I love. They are not open on Mondays or Tuesdays so I decided to try the NY Bagel Factory that was recommended by a neighbor. So glad I did. They have a great selection and are open everyday. I ordered on-line so they would be ready when I got there. They were out of a particular type AND I got a call asking me what I would like for a replacement! Amazing. It's a large shop in a small strip type mall. They have 3 locations...Framingham where I went, Southboro and Newton. Oh yeah, btw the bagels were warm and delicious. So good, I had one for breakfast and dinner! Don't judge. You would too. One of my favorite spots in the area - I love getting a bagel or breakfast sandwich as a weekend treat. I cycle between a sausage egg and cheese on a bagel and a toasted bagel with scallion cream cheese (which is to die for), but you honestly can't go wrong with either. They are very generous with the cream cheese. My partner's go-to order is an Uncle Jerry sandwich with pepperjack cheese. We never get sick of the food from here! The bagels are delicious and have the perfect texture. I'm also a huge fan of the iced coffee - you're given coffee ice cubes and a wide array of coffee blends to choose from. There are rotating special flavors that are always very tasty. The staff is always very attentive and speedy. The dining room is always packed and weekends always have a long line at the registers (it does move pretty quickly though). I have had issues a handful of times with online ordering where my order didn't successfully go through. In these cases, I just had to order at the front - more of an inconvenience than anything, and not anything that the staff did wrong. Good for groups of 2-6 this fast-casual spot offers solid bagels with cream cheese and breakfast options like eggs & bacon on a bagel. The service was prompt and forgettable and the bagels were of good quality while the accompaniments were unremarkable. If you like house hot coffee they had a few options and the iced coffee was simply a cup of iced cubes made from frozen coffee to pour over your hot coffee (not ideal for flavor or consistency). Solid bagels , however there's a couple things from getting 5 stars: 1) the muffins are not great .. the blueberry has some weird artificial coloring in it and the muffin is an overly sweet sugar bomb . Avoid . 2) people are great , but service can sometimes be a bit harried as it feels like they're a man short 3) the dining area is spartan and worn and a bit cold (in the winter). Used to go here when it was Brooklyn Water Bagel. I was a little bummed that it changed, but it is pretty similar. Unfortunately I went towards the end of the day so it was the tail end - smaller bagel selection but still had the good ones, and they didn't have any more iced coffee - which meant no coffee ice cubes! That was like THE reason I wanted to go there over some other options so while I was very happy to know that they also do the coffee cubes, I wasn't able to get them . They were cleaning up so had to wait a few minutes to order, but they got everything together pretty quickly and it was nice and hot. I got the cinnamon crunch bagel (kind of like a French toast bagel) with sausage egg and cheese. I found the egg to be a little bland, but it's an egg after all and the bagel just a little over toasted but not burnt so no problem. I think I would give this one another try but would go earlier in the day to ensure I can get the iced coffee/cubes and extra freshness. read more

Bagels don't have enough flavor to really taste what they say they are. Also when you get an egg and bacon the bacon is chopped up in the middle and the whole sandwich is hard to pickup because it is so hot and you have to wait for it too cool down or risk burning your mouth. The place has pretty good bagels! And that's where the positives end. The staff seem incapable of putting an order together properly as mine is consistently missing the side. I stopped coming here due to how long of a wait time i've had to endure on top of not even getting my order right leading to them taking even longer to make a simple side. After a long break, I came back today and nothing has changed somehow. It was very calm so my wait time was fine, except they forgot the side AGAIN. They call out the order and I mention it's missing something and the girl reads the receipt and says there's no sausage patty on the order, must be a different order. Wait a couple minutes because I trusted her reading capabilities, then I decided to read it for myself. It says it right there on the receipt and she still managed to act like I was making it up. Just put the food in the bag?? I'd like to just shop here normally but it's clear they just view me as a problematic customer for being annoyed after countless problems. I ordered six bagels, two each of salt, plain and cinnamon raisin, and two 8-oz containers of cream cheese (plain and low-fat veggie). The salt bagels were almost inedible due to the amount of salt applied to them. It was impossible to scrape off enough salt to make them acceptable. The cinnamon-raisin bagels contained very few raisins. Furthermore, the dough had not been mixed very well as I found a salty region on my cinnamon raisin bagel. Bagels varied widely in size. The plain bagel that I had was half as big as the plain that my sister had. All the bagels were rather tough and chewy. My sister said that heating hers made it softer and more edible. The veggie cream cheese was good, as it had a decent amount of onions and vegetables mixed in. I cannot say anything about the atmosphere or sanitary practices used at NY Bagel Factory as this was a delivery order. In summary, I have had better bagels. If you are looking for bagels in Framingham, I recommend visiting Café Fresh Bagels in Framingham Centre. read more

This is my go-to bagel spot! I love that they have whole wheat everything bagels and they put the everything seasoning on both sides. Bagels are large and leave you feeling very satisfied and happy after! The homemade cream cheeses, especially the jalepeno one, are super tasty. Very friendly counter service every time too. read more
