DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. If I could give zero stars I would, I called this place 5 times before deciding to just walk over for a simple nail trim. I can literally see this place from my window and it's NEVER busy, and I rarely see any dogs. I'm waiting 5 minutes in the front before the only lady working there notices me. She screams from the back of the store "yes?" , I said I need a nail trim and she reply's saying they don't do nail trims. How does a grooming place not do something as simple as nail trims? Literally wouldn't trust this place to groom or bathe either. Honestly not sure how this place is even still open. The prices are not comprobale to the service. We took our black and white Pomeranian here and told them not to cut too much... "just a trim". We told them just to clean up his face a little, but they went way overboard. They even knicked his ear pretty badly. I don't need to say too much... Just look at the before and after picture. My poor baby :( read more

My absolute favorite new pet grooming shop in Ktown! What a blessing to finally have groomers who actually care about your pets as much as you. The woman who came out to attend to us had such a warm smile that really let's you know from the "get-go" how much she loves dogs. The venue is extremely clean, there are pet beds laid around the floor, and she has plenty of room for your pets to run around and have fun with the others. The prices vary on the weight, and are very reasonable. A haircut and bath for my pet Maltese would cost $35. I recently just came back to drop off my dog, and now they've even hired a second helper who was also very tentative and helpful. With that being said, I've saved the best for last. They have a FREE parking lot right next to the store front. I mean really, what more can any pet owner ask for?! read more

I would give the owner/groomer at Honey Grooming 0 star if I could. I went into her shop telling her to cut it short and specifically told her "PLEASE be careful because he's old." She suggested "summer cut" so I went ahead and agreed with her since my dog has gotten it before at "Puppy in Style" and it looked great. When I went back I was sooo shocked how short it was.. to the point where he was PINK all over. She told me that there are red spots because he probably has allergy.. (My dog never had allergy issues) but I just paid and left. When I got home, I noticed he was acting so odd while he was eating and drinking.. My dog would eat/drink and run off somewhere.. He seems very distressed when normally he drinks lots of water and swallows his food in a sec. I just thought "ohh, hes being weird today." The next day and til this day he scratches his skin.. he barely sleeps because he is so uncomfortable. I took a picture because I realized it was razor burn and he definitely doesn't have fleas. I called her today telling her what happened and she told me to come in so she can take a look. She told me that its probably from the grass or some allergy he had...NO he never had allergy or skin problems before!! smh.... Also, I asked her if she brushed his teeth because on the menu on yelp says its an "add on" for $5. She told me she did.. without my consent...My dog has teeth problems already and he's old.. I didn't expect or ask her to do it since it is an "add on." She really hurt my dog and was not sorry about it... "because she did her job" ..WTF.....she didn't do anything but hurt him and she had the audacity to yell at me and deny EVERYTHING. So yea now I'm stuck with vet bills and really stressed that my baby is hurting... Do yourself a service and go somewhere else... PLEASEEE read more

This is the second time I've come here for a wash and cut for my cat. My first experience was last summer. The first time around the groomer cut my cats nails WAY TOO SHORT, luckily my cat didn't seem to have any pain or discomfort. This time around, I dropped off my cat and requested not to have her nails cut. 15 minutes after dropping her off I called to make sure the groomer would only be giving my cat a wash and cut. The groomer told me that she already cut her nails. At this point I couldn't do anything about it. Once we got home from the groomer I noticed her nails looked VERY SHORT again. When I tried to check her nails she would shutter as if she was in pain. Mind you, my cat is very calm and sweet. She never has a problem if I need to pick her up or even cut her nails myself. This time the groomer not only ignored my one request but she STILL does not understand how to properly cut nails correctly. I do not recommend this groomer as I am now keeping a close eye on my cat and her paws to make sure they do not swell or lead to more pain and damage. Please excuse my photos. don't recommend hair looks okay but besides that when we picked my dog up we noticed she had dry blood by her ear later we saw it was like a cut. another thing when we picked her up she looked all sad and she's still been a little down. I've been using services at Honey Grooming for a few months now. I travel a lot for work and have been leaving my dog here for their pet hotel services. Not only are they extremely affordable, but you can tell they really care about your pets. My dog wasn't socialized with other dogs as a puppy, so she doesn't get along with them - she's not aggressive, she just doesn't care for them. In any case, after leaving my dog here, she's really improved on her social skills. This last week, while I left her there, it was the first time I used the grooming services. They did a great job and cut it exactly how I wanted it. For parking, there are some street spots, but if you drive past the shop, there's a small lot just to the west with dedicated "FOR HONEY GROOMING" spots. read more

They cannot follow simple instructions as to how I want my dog's hair cut: I spent 15 minutes explaining how I want my dog's haircut: "keep her hair long on the top of her head, trim the tail and ears, etc". I even WROTE IT DOWN on a post-it. When I picked up my dog, And after I paid, she brought my dog out and I saw that the top of her head is super short, and matches the length of the rest of her body. If I wanted her to look like someone took an electric razor to her whole body and head, I would have groomed her myself. Then, to make matters worse, when I complained, Heidi says "well I told you the communication is bad" since the owner wrote down my appointment in Korean and she didn't even know I had an appointment today with my two dogs. Well ok, maybe there's scheduling miscommunication, but you would think that a dog grooming place would be able to groom your dog according to your simple grooming instructions. Heidi kept saying that the owner is the one who cuts the hair, so why did I spent 15 minutes explaining how I wanted the cut to Heidi and not the owner who apparently is the one cutting the hair! Overall, I'm not happy with this place, and I won't go back. To their credit, I didn't give them one or two stars because they did a great job on my other dog, and neither dogs were injured. read more

I took my 6 month old jack russel mix nugget here for his first cut ever. I dont know much about dog cuts but I chose the "summer" cut for my pup. My boyfriend and I couldn't hold back, he looked like he just stepped out of a military boot camp. But happy to see he had no incidental cuts, over all very good service. My dog went in with an appointment at 2pm. At 6pm I asked the owner if she was done grooming my dog and she avoided the question and said she would call her when she'll ready. At 7pm, I gave her another call and she wouldn't give me a time when my dog would be finished. I had other errands to run but I was waiting for my dog to finish. She called me around 8:30 saying my dog was ready. I wish she gave me an estimated time so I can run my errands in between, but it also shouldn't have taken 6.5 hours for a grooming session. Warning!!! Please do not go here. This lady here is such an unskilled/unprofessional groomer that I know. I think she hates her job as a groomer. She always seems angry/mad for no reason. I wonder what's really going on inside this grooming shop. Plus, she's playing loud music inside the shop. I don't know how she's still in the business. DO NOT BRING PETS HERE FOR GROOMING!! I guess all they care about is money since they don't show us, the customer's pets some care or love. Me and my family were interested in getting our Maltese puppy groomed here since it was a new shop with good deals, but we were deceived. When we entered the shop it seemed nice and clean with two laid back ladies who worked there and dogs were not cramped up in cages so we thought it was nice. We left our puppy for 2 hours just to get washed and trimmed and when we got him we didn't notice until right after we left the shop but his nails were bleeding and was shaking uncontrollably. This was his second time at a grooming shop and it was such a terrible experience for him. read more
