We really enjoyed The Beer Co. We go to a lot of breweries all over CA and elsewhere, and they had a high hit rate for our tastes. All good, and the top two standouts for us were the West Coast IPA and the Strawberry Kiwi Seltzer. Don't tell any of my friends that I liked a seltzer, but man that was scary drinkable. I like going to breweries, but my wife isn't much of a "beer person". She's a sucker for good ambiance, dog-friendly, and beer alternatives like Seltzers. The Beer Co checks all those boxes! I was very sad that they had just recently tapped out of their PB Stout and another option I was eying, but still tried their Blonde and the Mexican Lager. Wife enjoyed the peach seltzer as it's not as sweet as a lot of other seltzers out there (if you want sweet, try the berry seltzer!). A bit of a small tasting room, so don't plan to meet 30 of your closest friends here, but great for smaller parties and groups. One of those great local brewery options that has something for everyone! read more

Fun place- fun list of seltzers! Good beers, not a ton of IPAs which is a plus if you don't like IPAs like me. Customer service was great when they paid attention to you. Getting their attention to get another round was tough, they were all in deep conversations with other guest sitting at the bar. What a great new spot! My wife and I LOVE to try new breweries around OC and found this gem through Yelp. We're fans of all beers and usually find the same standard variations of beers with new breweries. I tried their Lil Peanut PB stout and is one of the better PB stouts I've had. I'm a huge fan of Red Ales, and their Drip Dead Red is great. It's on the same level of Rocco Red and Red Trolley for me. When you see 3 beer selections that are sold out, that's a good sign! To start with, I don't write many of these. Reviews are just not typically my thing though of course I read them all the time, but this time I really want to write one. I frequent many of the breweries in the area, but am always looking for more. Fortunately I found out about this one and just went. I have never had a brewery experience quite like this. The owners are incredible people. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. Shout out to Blake who (like the others) was very friendly and very nice to talk to. Talking with them led to talking between the other people sitting at the bar and honestly when do strangers in Orange County actually talk to each other. Like when do people at a bar or a brewery learn about what the others there do for a living or leave saying "I'll see you next time," to the other customers there. It was like I was out of an episode of Cheers! I have just never had an experience quite like it and want to commend the owners for creating such a space. I can tell that this is exactly what they were going for and the feeling that they want to their customers to leave with. I have no doubt that you will have the same experience. I thought I'd stop by for 20 minutes and play on my phone the whole time, ended up staying for 2 hours and didn't touch my phone once. Again no don't you'll have the same experience. As for beer, I enjoyed the nitro stout. Next time I want to check out the red ale. Thank you Beer Co. for making customer service so important. I will be back. Next time though with some more people so they can have this same unique experience that I already look forward to coming back for again. read more

An aesthetically pleasing taproom invites you in but the quality of the brews are what keeps you around. Seriously they have something for everyone. My personal favorites being the "Baby Ced" ipa and the smooth red ale they have. They have a great starting line up of beers and most if not all are extremely solid already. This place has the best vibes and some really solid craft beer that can contest with some of the big names in the area. P.s. Try the beer cocktails. The mojito is super great especially if you like things on the sweeter side and the michelada is one of the most refreshing drinks I've ever had. read more

This place is tucked away, but well-worth the trip! I enjoyed the presentation of the little beer samplers, and the Mexican ale was my favorite. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about beer, and I loved the decor. I liked the tiles in the bathroom, bar area, and light fixtures. I also enjoy a clean and well-decorated bathroom which they had. They also have a food truck outside, which is nice if you get hungry. Lots of fun bar games and corn hole outside. read more

Stumbled upon this cute little place today and I'm happy that I did! The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We had a flight and they had some really unique combinations. I stumbled upon this brewery on Saturday and was so glad I did! I had one of their Beer Cocktails and it was unlike anything I've ever had, out of this world I signed up for their iBrew "make your own beer" and it was so much fun. I've never made my own beer before and I can't wait to try it out, such an interesting process and the staff was super informative about how the beer making process works, from adding certain types of malt and hops to the whole fermentation process. We stopped by the first week the taproom was opened according to the owners. My husband found the location on Maps and we always love hitting up new breweries. This one was very inviting with a relatively large sitting area and a bar to sit at. We did two flights which didn't quite cover all the beers but were given from tasters of the others so the only ones we didn't get to try was the PB stout, regrettably. All the beers on tap were highly drinkable, with the traditionally heavier beers like their stout and red not being overwhelming like some are. Our favorite was the Ceds IPA but all the ones we had were quality beers. My husband liked the sours as well. I'm not a huge sour fan but I appreciated that they weren't overwhelmingly sour and one of the ones he had were more along my tastes when it comes to sours. Still, think I'll stick to the IPAs, stouts, and wheats. Everyone who we interacted with were very friendly and were willing to talk to us about the plans for the brewery. Very welcoming atmosphere. The brewery is going for a sort of beachy theme and feels very open and comfortable. We'll definitely be back soon. read more

Came in with my girls to their grand opening - VERY COOL BREWERY! A breathe of fresh air in Anaheim - plenty of parking and a very clean atmosphere. This place has really great tasting beers. I'm a very picky person when it comes to finding a beer that I'll enjoy at most breweries, but right from the moment I walked in to The Beer Co. I was able to find 3 that I really enjoyed and I've been back several times since, because they're just that good. So my top 3 are jalapeño blonde, strawberry fields and lemon shandy. My husband likes lil bear and a golden coffee stout, the name is slipping my mind, but I've tried it and it's very good. If you've ever had naughty sauce from Noble, The. Beer Co's golden stout taste very similar, but way better in the sense that it's smoother. This brewery is very nicely decorated and for the women, the bathrooms are pretty and clean. Oh and the staff!!! They are all super cool and really friendly, I felt like I was literally a part of the brewery family from day one. Lena is super sweet, as well as everyone else there. It is a must try if you want awesome beer, super friendly staff and nice place to hang out and relax. read more

Fresh crisp variety of beers on tap. Brewers are not afraid to add character to their brews. The IPAs are not over-hopped and the hazys are honest fruit forward and easy to drink. The beer is slightly slacking hence the 4 stars instead of 5 but I'm not sure what kind of issues they have come across due to covid and production. This place is really nice inside and it has a cool vibe. I came here with my running club and the staff were awesome - extremely fast service and really helpful too. They have a pretty expansive beer list. My favorite was the Baby Ceds IPA and my wife loved the Berry Stout (I can't remember the name). The bar is a cool design as well. There's a good mixture of seating and spaces to stand and socialize. I'll definitely be making a return visit. They're conveniently located near Bruery Terreux and the other breweries along La Palma. read more
