Had to give Honeybird Fried Chicken a try after hearing they were connected to Riganato Old World Grille and honestly, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The chicken was excellent. Crispy, flavorful, and most importantly not overly greasy. You can absolutely taste the difference between this and a typical fast food fried chicken spot. It feels fresh, homemade, and actually cared about. Not really fair to even compare it to a corporate chain because this is clearly on another level. The coleslaw was probably the best I've had in a long time, honestly since Carson's Ribs in Chicago. Super fresh, creamy, and balanced perfectly. Mac and cheese was solid too. Definitely more of that Velveeta-style comfort mac, but no complaints there because fried chicken is clearly the star of the show. What stood out just as much as the food was the atmosphere. Friendly staff, great service, and even the cooks in the back looked genuinely happy to be there. That kind of energy says a lot about a place. If you've been to Riganato before, you can definitely see the same quality and care carried over here. Highly recommend checking them out. Had a wonderful meal, everything was great. The pork tenderloin sandwich was huge and perfect. So hard to find in the burbs. The chicken was good and juicy. The fritters were equally good as was the fried pickles. The staff were so sweet and helpful. Answered all our questions and brought the food to our table. This new East side of Geneva restaurant opened in the middle of a major road construction project. Literally. I decided to try them on a weekend. I ordered the four piece deluxe fried Chicken dinner to share between two. Four juicy pieces of chicken with two sides and fritters for 18.00 plus tip.I chose coleslaw which was amazing The slaw had very finely chopped cabbage and a tasty dressing. I also ordered Elote as a side. The Elote needed more Cayenne pepper which I added at home . The four corn fritters were so delicious. I will return to try the sandwiches and of course eat more Cole Slaw and Fritters! Ordered online and my order was ready on time. Friendly Staff as well! read more

Always happy to support a local business... And I've given honey bird a chance and to be frank. I will give it a second chance. Nothing was extremely hot except the okra. Made me think the chicken was waiting in the oven for us to get there and then they just zapped it same as true of the chicken tenders not crispy the way you would expect it to be. Garlic mashed are a definite no go... Way too much garlic overpowered honestly I love garlic mashed in these were not good. Like I said going to give it a second try. I know it's a newer restaurant and they're getting their legs under. We'll see how it goes. I'll update this review when I get a chance to get back there. read more

We ordered online a few weeks ago and decided to sit on their patio to eat since it was such a nice night. Their fried chicken is delicious, super crispy breading but not dried our at all. Their chicken fingers were just ok, they were very dry. All of our sides were pretty unmemorable, the mashed potatoes had way too much garlic (yeah I know... they're garlic mashed potatoes) and the potatoes in the potato salad were undercooked. BUT!!!
